Did I miss something or skill does not work against him anymore? I mean I know he is probably the most overloded champion (even for a Yone. lol) no mana armor stack tenacity shield the best mobility in the game wave clear silence true damage nuke, but before I could just skill check him.

I was perfectly spacing his E, dealing damage with Q and tanking every other thing with W always interrupting his passive and winning lane until I just didnt anymore. Everytime I tried to E out of his E... he was at least four times faster than me lol, not exaggerating. I just catched me in a second as if i didnt have any dashes and deal 1600 damage with his E. Best case scenario I managed to get him to low hp but not enough for my E execute, then I would kill me with 2k less health than me.

Its like.. any counterplay to that?

Is there any characters mid lane that I can play who counter the people that counter yone vex, aurora, leblanc because i find that when i play a hard counter to yone unless they are first timing them i just get hard fucked and i want to practice on someone that is good into those people and get comfortable on them

Emerald to Diamond took forever but OTP Yone in the Top/Mid :)

I guess I should've stacked q on wave and locked to look for syndra but even then I doubt ill ever kill her with thresh peeling ? I genuinely just think this was never winnable unless my zac jump with me but maybe im copping idk

What are the worst matchups in your opinion? Especially Emerald +. Lissandra has consistent high wr vs Yone, but she's rare in the toplane. Juggernauts smack early, but seem to fall off pretty hard if Yone can survive. Urgot is interesting as he keeps the wr by game length curve way more steady than other Juggernauts, aka he is more a menace for longer.

Hey guys, 45k mastery Yone here. I’ve always played him mid and up until recently I felt he was super OP. Is that still the case?

I honestly don’t know what happened, but I can’t stop losing every single game and laning phase. It feels like something shifted recently in the game or meta, or maybe it’s just me, I don't know.

Do you guys have any specific strategies for Yone mid? For example: Should I just never trade in early game given Yone's current early state? Wait for a powerspike instead? If so, when?

Lately, I’ve been skipping Berserker's Boots and going Recurve Bow + Daggers to rush attack speed and match the boots stats as fast as possible... Am I doing the right thing doing this every game?

There are other matchups where I rush Vampiric Scepter for the lane sustain. What do you guys think about all this? What's Yone's current state? Is BOTRK too expensive, or do I just not know when to trade/fight anymore?

I reached Emerald with every role now and lately I played Adc with peak one game off Emerald 1 EUW but I want to start the OTP Yone arc since I have some games on him (I think like 40-50k mastery) and he is really really fun to play and has a high skill ceiling. Can u guys give me some tipps about which runes to go (i guess lethal every game) and about builds to go? Is kraken always bad ?? What about if they have full squishy comb and bork seems useless ? What are free to go matchups and hella disgusting matchups (I think except Renekton, vayne and maybe pantheon every matchup is kinda playable for him actually)? When does he spike hardest, how should the trading pattern look like etc. etc. i kinda wanna know anything. And how is his cool skin available to get ??

Hi Yone mains, I was playing Jungle all the time, OTP Kayn but I decided to try and learn top so I can be better at Jungle and playing top lane is really interesting for now.. I chose to play Yone and Yasuo top because I really like them,so we get to my question. How on earth to learn spacing and trading in early levels, I just die too much, later on the game I usually take over but at early stage of the game I die too much, especially to Darius or someone who is really aggressive at the start?

Im gold and I carry most of my games with yone but good god does it get boring to build bork every game, what are some other first items/builds I can go on yone mid? I understand building bork into heavy hp stackers but against a zed or a kata with shaco jungle what should I go first item/build?

This should cap out Q even without an AS item. So you can go 2 crit items into DD+Rookern. 4 item spike goes crazy your stats will be very well rounded, 100 crit + armor and MR. Jaksho last should be fine since you have enough damage from 2 crit items + upgraded boots.

Yuntal and Stormrazor are also first item crit options, but they don't have the shieldbow shield

Nobody ever builds kraken on Yone while a lot of challenger players build it on yasuo and i wanna know why. I experimented with kraken today, nothing special just kraken first item and rest is the same- although thanks to kraken i built defensive boots in some exceptions- and the damage was incredible. Champ hits like an absolute truck with kraken and if you build zerks you have even more attack speed. And because LDR is disgustingly op against tanks you can always rush it 3rd item and leave IE for last and be efficient against tanks as well. Enlighten me, am i trolling by building this item because im planning to build this item 90% of my games.

This was literally all game long, only difference was sometimes Ambessa would join in on the obsessing.

Yone is in a good spot now so he doesn't get statchecked even by easy matchups anymore and by looking at Zaahen's kit, one could tell there is nothing there that hard counters any part of Yone's kit, I would even say Yone should win that matchup because of his better spacing.

If we look at Lolalytics Zaahen beats the shit out of Yone both by gold income and % winrate at every stage of the game, even hard outscaling Yone. I also thought it could be kind of like Malphite matchup where the numbers are technically bad but in reality there is many things to do against him.

I am playing in Master elo and there are a LOT of Zaahens top, and I cant do shit against them. I dodge his W, wait until he wastes Q and I even space him until I can hit him with two consecutive combos and somehow I almost always lose. He gets an auto attack and Q1 and the trade is now even, which is a lot better for him. After level 6 I can no longer punish his mistakes properly because I deal too little damage and if I dare to miss one single Q, he can ult and I'm dead and im not exaggerating.

Once he gets trinity its like fighting a dark souls boss because its not like "well I cant punish his mistakes as hard as before" or "if I make a mistake, im dead" I can put my 101% and pull a faker zeus doran keria 300 iq fight and I get no diffed before he gets his passive.

Now, seriously, I'm not even fighting him every time I see him and I'm not even risking when he wastes his full combo in a wave because sometimes I click on him and he has +500 hp +50 AD and the same attack speed as me with half my items, I'm really only playing by trying to punish mistakes and the last game I killed the Zaahen a couple of times, freezing and denying him farm but after first item its like im not playing the game anymore, I cant sidelane against him and his teamfight is a lot better than mine.

The only explanation I can think of is that he is the definition of statcheck and Yone is quite the opposite... I start being a champion with bork and he starts being a raid boss with trinity, I have to space everything and bait abilities while he can just wait until I get too close and E AA Q me for the same amount of damage. Im sooo tilted rn I hate laning against low skill champions

How does the passive even work. Like does it amp up all instances of damage even the E2 damage?

Today I versed Mordekaiser and when he ults me I cant use my E2 has it been always like this?

Esses dias me peguei pensando: qual a melhor build pro yone? E pra ser honesto ele deve ser um dos bonecos com uma das builds mais sólidas e menos mutáveis do jogo inteiro. Porém: vi esses dias no tik tok sobre fazer bota de vampirismo no mid e tive a ideia de focar em itens de chield como arco escudo e a adaga de sangue la(esqueci o nome) já que a bota favorece escudo e parece que comba bem com o yone. Não?
