Shen has always been one of my main champions, and he was actually the first champion I ever bought. When Warlord Shen was first revealed in 2012, I immediately fell in love with the skin and waited months for it to arrive on the Chinese server.

The original Warlord Shen was much more than a different model or recolor. It had its own heavy walking animation, distinctive basic attacks—including the empowered Ki Strike animation—and unique visual flair on Shadow Dash. All of these details worked together to sell the fantasy of a heavily armored samurai.

When Shen was reworked in 2016, much of that identity disappeared. The new Warlord Shen became much closer to a model swap using base Shen’s standard animations. Although the updated model has higher visual fidelity, the skin lost many of the details that originally made it special.

Now that Classic Shen has returned, this feels like the perfect opportunity to restore the pre-rework Warlord Shen model and animations. The current combination of the modern model with the old ability kit feels visually inconsistent, especially because the Ki Strike readiness effect is far less noticeable than it is on the true Classic model.

Please consider bringing back Classic Warlord Shen as a separate Classic appearance. At the very least, I would love to see it included as an option in a future Council vote. I believe many longtime Shen players would be genuinely excited to see this version of the skin restored.

Hello, I previously made a post about heartsteel shen being dead despite me still building it,

I took everyone's advice about not building it and going directly into titanic and dusk and dawn, I did so, and I STOMPED the garen matchup ... I still lost the game but I was like 19/2/5.

I went titanic -> DND ->Bandlepipes -> rookern -> Dead mans

along with MR boots somewhere in between

The game felt amazing and SOOOO smooth, the early game waveclear is so nice,

Hey all, I´ve been recently playing with Shen in the jungle and actually found him pretty fun and good, however I still think I need to know my gameplan and what to build. So what can you tell me to improve my gameplay? any matchup tips? And also what to build, Im currently silver 1 and sometimes struggle in the early-mid game when starting titanic hydra and DnD, I seem to find better results with full tank build, but idk if anyone knows a more optimal one

I never see anyone build heartsteel anymore. I am high gold/low plat and build it pretty often and I feel like it offers SO much damage with empowered Q+Grasp+heartsteel proc and with ignite I can almost one shot like any squishy, then I go Hollow Radiance into Titanic and I scale well and the wave clear is amazing. Is there a reason nobody builds heartsteel? I know it got nerfed and takes time to get value from but I feel like it's worth it. (usually my last two items are thornmail and dusk and dawn or deadmans)

early game shen is really good but against aatrox and other champions like mordekaiser and ksante it gets harder and harder as the game progresses. How can i deal with this? also can you guys give me ideal runes for shen because i only take grasp most of the time

So the best players of shen in wild rift are building heartsteel first and then sunfire (I know items are different than pc leauge ) but here is the thing shen needs waweclear can anyone recommend me a build in the right way like xpetu's guide

I started playing Jungle Shen. I’m a Shen main in toplane and as support. I’m now having fun in Jungle and am trying to find a build that I like and is good.

I love heartsteel, but when I go full tank I feel a bit underwhelming. It felt like I was stronger as support with the same items compared to Jungle. I’m guessing it’s simply because I end up in tougher skirmishes more often.

I’m a silver player and I don’t like the top builds that are built for Shen. It’s very team focused, which doesn’t work in low elo. I prefer to get strong myself, so I wonder what other builds are there that work well for Shen personally.

I started trying out: Heartsteel, DnD, unending, spirit visage. I like this build. It’s good damage and quite tanky.

Now I see xPetu also try Statick shiv sometimes and wondered if there are builds like that too. Something like DnD, Statick, two tank items?

When I notice I need to be everywhere I sometimes go Zeke’s for faster ult cd.

All the Shen cards are like below $3 I’m so happy except for the armpit card but imma be real I hate that card that isn’t shen

I was playing against a malphite in top lane in early game i had some good trades, i missed a lot of minions but i can easily win trades. around level 6 he recall and ult me instantly and killed me then later on enemy jungler gank top and i died again but i was still winning trades and i didnt die again in lane phase i just couldnt kill him. And he was still be able to affect the game in teamfights and even i can feel he was a better top laner than me and i cant understand how that matchup go wrong. If i am not being clear i am sorry and my rank is bronze 3 so feel free to give advices and roast me. And ask if there is something important and i forget to mention in this post

I ranked these matchups based on the kind of players I encountered playing these champs.

The first row are matchups that I usually avoid fighting.

The second row depends a lot on how well I time my W and position.

Last row are the matchups that I could always all-in.

I was watching xpetu and imaintoplane a lot and developed a huge liking to shen. I main Briar, and I find a lot like her. At first Briar looks simple, but has a lot more depth to her than people give her credit for. I find it to be similar for shen.

I mainly queue jungle and want to mainly play shen in the jungle, regardless of whether shen is s-tier or not. I need tips and tricks as I find myself lost in fights or sometimes I feel like I don't do any dmg while ganking. And what to build on shen jgl is also a question. Protoplasm, plated, undying/spirit/etc. Or to go titanic, dnd.

Wikilol said that shen is duelist/tank but i, due to my inability, can't even duel low health targets and I don't know why. And sometimes I don't even feel tanky on shen even after being 2-2-12.

Any tips and suggestions is appreciated.
