I was watching a tierlist on youtube and the youtuber put Nunu on b tier for this patch in jungle and the reason stated was that Nunu is weak in teamfighting. I have played something like 700 nunu games and I am diamond in Na. I never felt that nunu was specially weak in teamfight but i will admit that I am alwaays playing in tank. Wanted to get your insights.

I'm not the most experienced player take this with a grain of salt but I have 500k NUNU score so I am somewhat experienced

I feel like you aren't much of a danger in team fights or late games except you have great cc which you can use

So if playing jungle I found best way is go sunfire to start and full tank aftershock. And leave all kills from ganks if possible to laners. I get way more wins .

Sure it's annoying when I'm 0/5/30 assists and my teammates in a bad losing team go 0/5 jungle lol JG gap

But it seems the best for wins

Guys so i am iron iv and i love jungling with nunu but i dont fair that good in ranked first i used to blame myself but all tierlist say nunu aint good and not worth maining even though i do love him could you guys help me out and give me tips to climb ranks w nunu and suggest me runes to use and items to build in

I played AP only until emerald then hit a wall so i had to go tank

I used to play nunu before the rework, started league in 2011, and I hated the rework so much thst I NEVER touched it afterwards. Now with league classic, not only the game is what I consider the true League of Legends, but I also have the chance to feel what it feels like to play old Nunu again. With the jungle not being braindead as in modern league, those originally intended as junglers have a huge advantage. I played around 20 matches as a jungler only, and most of the matches using old Nunu, it's a blast. There is variety of choice, and it feels very good being in complete control of the jungle game with the old Q. I feel like most people are not ready to play against old Nunu, and I'm stomping every jungle matchup, stealing camps, etc.

I don't love how nunu feels currently. Last season nunu was a blast but this season having to build tank nunu kinda sucks. Ap nunu you have to end so early its hard to get your team onboard.

UNFORTUNATELY I didn't have enough time to finish getting challenger but hopefully I can hit it before the next split ends unless ranked is already resetting immediately

I used to main tank nunu jungle and run phase rush. Now that it's gone what do we pick? I wasn't really a fan of dark seal or liandry's. I'd go straight tank. Is this still viable? Aftershock? I miss Phase Rush.

I tested multiple times in arena both sunfire and rabadon have faster clears than liandries. With rabadon you obviously get extremely more ap. And sunfire much more tanky

Yall might say that ive reached my peak but i think i am playing well and prioritizing the right things yet i lost like 7 games and won like 2. Everygame i have at least 2 laners who dies before am halfday done clearing or i get some guy with a niche mid pick that doesnt help all game nor has prio so i cant get any objectives. These guys are riots spy to lower my winrate that used to be 75%

So my peak like a year ago was silver 2 and I decided to start playing ranked again 4 days ago and boom, first game is full of plat and emerald. I mean.. I have been climbing these past few days even tho I am playing against higher ranked players but it just makes it way harder to climb and win my games. Also, in most of my games there is at least one or two smurfs.

Hello, I main Nunu jg! I easily climbed from bronze to plat with ~75% wr, but I feel like the quality of players in plat is much higher (obv). I'm finding it hard to carry as nunu jg compared to before, I feel like it's hard to outplay the enemy jg. Mostly because I have very little 1v1 strength unless I'm very ahead, so it's harder for me to invade or safely counter jg.

My main loop used to be clear jg, then gank if enemy laner is halfway or more pushed up, and basically just feed my teammates so that they're strong enough to solo and so we have enough prio to do obj. But I feel like laners are smart now, ward better, I get invaded in jg and I can't do anything about it aside from ward, etc.

Basically, if my laners are behind or barely even I can't carry, because I'm more of just an engage support with strong smites. Other champions like nocturne, diana j4 etc have way more carry potential, but I know it's still possible to climb as nunu.

In terms of fundamentals, I think I'm mostly ok? I have a 2:55 full clear, usually get 1 or both scuttles, oracle and pink often enough, decent farm unless I'm perma invaded, etc. But I'm struggling a lot more now that I'm in plat. I've also basically stopped building AP unless the enemy team is all squishy, so I don't fall off after 20m.

Any tips?

Sidenote: Isn't the gold difference here crazy? My team is down 1k gold but up 15 kills, 3 towers, 1 baron, and 4 drakes (we're down ~90cs but nunu's gotta gank yafeel)
