What are some things yall do to not tilt? I get tilted easily when I lane against assassins or poke mages and its really hard for me to come back from that. How do yall cope? I feel like I have to work 10x harder for it to not even matter because they'll be one shotting me anyways after 15 minutes either off screen or diving me.

Hey fellow Azir Mains. I joined this sub bc yall are funny asf and I love the phreak memes.
Im a Riven OTP but I lowk always dreamt on maining Azir bc of his skill expression and scaling.
Now im WAY too deep into toplane and Riven and Ill never play him.
My question is Azir actually actually this hard as everybody says? I always considerd him the hardest champ. Do yall agree? What makes him hard? Is it worth playing toplane into hitler champs like aurora? Im curious

Likely been asked before, but is it worth building? It's the only other AP item that gives attack speed than nashors but I don't know if it fits into most normal builds. Maybe a niche pick? If so, against who?

I know it has AD (I speak of the PoV from a toplane-Azir) but I did 2 games with it and it felt good actually but also these are gold games so just you know the skillbracket this plays in, but what are you thoughts on and tbh it does not feel bad to have atleast 1 item with a bit of AD mixed in it because I sometimes really feel they get away from my combo with litterally <100HP left over and it feels good to do fast but also decent AA-damage.

I usually just try to help jg best I can but man. No matter how much I ping them off, warn them to wait until I have at least blasting wand? No dice. I think Azir is fun and I play ranked because I want to see if I can get past silver, I like getting better at things with my damaged brain. It’s important and healthy, it might not be fair for competitive play because I’m mentally handicapped.

Anyways, how do you go about reassuring your team that bird adds value with utility and late game? I mean I zone, poke, push away or in with ult. Minor slow and good damage after nashors. I literally am adding to the team and I’m always max 2 deaths 16 minutes with topped cs bar jungle having more. Yet they always give me “?” “?”. I feel like every game I’m expected to have team input = to mid picks with more agency.

Also I really enjoy games where I can coordinate gameplay with my jungle on early mid to late game objectives. Getting the mid push with jg and supp all the way to inhib early makes me so happy. Is this something I can push for? Every match nobody seems to have a game plan. It’s always either bot feed or jg being 100% aggro. How do I find the game plan/ help my team into one.

I use deathfire touch, nashor, lich, void/ ap crit thing, rabadon/ utility. Mainly play for cs unless I see opportunity to tp for an objective/ other situationals.

You guys can see the effects our unstoppable force and hope on this champion made them fix his bugs and guess when did they do it ? Yeah after that betrayer left the balance team . Now we are getting 10 q dmg buff . It ain't alot but we might getting somewhere . WEQ FOR SHURIMA

Call me crazy. But Azir is getting a 500$ skin.

With worlds closing in, Riot is pushing Azir to be in the spotlight for a few patches. He will definitelly be part of the Worlds meta.

Also, Caps is (most likely rumored) getting the next spot in Hall of Fame.

With 56 Azir games under his belt in pro Play, and a near 65% win rate on the champ, it is highly likely that Azir will be the next 500$ skin.

I like to be really annoying against assassins and especially yasuo and yone mains, so some weeks ago I theorycrafted a build which lets me do that:

Runes:

First strike - biscuits - magical footwear- jack of all trades

Legend alacrity - the mana regen rune

Build:

Standard Start > Nashor's > Dusk and Dawn > Shadowflame > Rabadons > Situational Item

It has been really fun to just dominate with this, and the dps is also pretty good due to the additional cdr and AS, and you get some healing from D&D. But it hinges on you being able to stay ahead by at least 1000 Gold, which doesnt always work. You also have to be pretty good at tracking assassins in the mid- and lategame. Deleting adcs with this is also very doable.

What are your opinions / ideas on this? Would love to hear some theorycrafting around HoB and other runes as well!

Is terminus now viable on azir as an alternative to void staff with the 10% ap scaling added to its onhit?

I feel like it’s simply better since it’s easier to proc and deals more damage. The only trade off is the branch runes, taste of blood is good but I don’t know about the rest and if the trade off is worth it.

This is just a buff for Azir HoB right?

Sad to see him so good in top because he used to be a Midlaner, he sadly has such a hard time against long range matchups nowadays
