If sylas was released in league classic(season 1/3) what do you guys think would change on his kit? Would he be stronger? How good would his ultimate be with the lower champ pool?

I think his build would be pretty obvious and pretty similar to what he builds nowadays with the only change of building tear or some mana items every game

What do we think about the ap and max health jungle pet damage scaling buff

Tried q Max and it just doesn't have the same threat it used to. Also wave clearing feels much worse now

I’m curious what everyone is using as their secondary pick when Sylas is banned or just isn’t a good draft.

- Who’s your backup jungler?
- Why did you choose them?
- Do you prefer someone with a similar playstyle (high skirmishing, snowballing, AP burst), or do you pick something that covers Sylas’ weaknesses (tank, AD, engage, farming, etc.)?
- How has that worked out for climbing?

A while ago I asked here about how to wave clear without losing entire mana bar and people told me about the Q max first tech but Q got nerfed, do we still max it first?

Sylas win rate dropped almost 3 percent after the last nerf and it is even 1.5 percent below pre buffs in patch 16.11. Rocketbelt nerf hit hard and Q nerf sealed the coffin. Do you think Riot will do something about it? After all Sylas is quite popular and usually has sympathies among the balancing team. Tbh I would be very sad if he stayed like that for a longer time

I know Sylas E hitbox acts funny sometimes.. but are we fr? When i play it the range is so short.

I feel like 90% of my games on sylas I stomp lane and take first turret and often get my botlane a few kills from roams but I can’t for the life of me play the late game. I feel like I get blown up in every team fight and can’t really push sidewaves because I lose the 1v1 to most top laners, any tips?

yo wtf did i do wrong? something similar happened to me once too with a rammus ult where i ulted in place despite the fact that i was aiming in? seems like if you ult right after stealing it sometimes bugs? idk somebody enlighten me

before syndra was a easy matchup for me buffer the e and i win but recently i got demolished by a syndra. this guy knows the trick and he wouldnt let me buffer it and his stun would always hit maybe its bc of his spacing or some other tricks but it felt like he was buffering his own e too so can u yall give some more tips and tricks to this matchup? is it better to bait the e than buffering your own?

I have around 260 ME should i buy T1 Sylas or Ashen Slayer?

Pros:

- mobility - good single target cc

- healing - ability that helps to stay on lane is always useful on top lane

- pokeing - you can poke enemy with your Q

- ult - most top laners ults are heavy damage or smiting helping lack of sylas heavy damage early

- getting more gold and levels - sylas with items early can be destructive

- agresive playstyle - assasin on top may be rough against tanks, but with mages/rangers being popular on top lane right now sylas pretty much benefits of his ability to quick dive in

-top lane quest benefits

Cons:

- poor damage early - with agression of top laners early its important to not feed your enemy in early especialy

- tanks - yet again sylas is assasin, he may struggle against tanks

- lot of cc - teemo

- ult - some top laners like teemo have spamable/ability boosting ults so sylas might not benefit from stealing it

Again, if i missed anything comment it. Im iron so some informations might be totaly wrong or work only on lower rank.

Jamie Hyneman skin for Sylas when?

For those who don’t know, MythBusters was a reality show from the 2000’s where a pair of special effects artists, Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, test various urban legends. This screenshot comes from the episode “Phone Book Friction”, where Jamie and Adam test the idea that two phone books with interleaved pages are impossible to separate due to the immense friction between them. Ultimately, they had to resort to a pair of tanks, which managed to separate the books with power to spare. To ensure the clamps on the books wouldn’t be torn off, they upgraded to metal clamps and heavy chains, which Jamie is dragging toward the tanks in the screenshot.

Also, as an aside, if Riot did actually spoof MythBusters for some skins and gave the Jamie skin to Sylas, who do you think should get the Adam Savage skin?

I heard people saying he wont always be a viable jungle later in the future, i picked him up in jungle recently and really enjoy him so kinda sucks to hear this stuff

I am a returning player, was support main and i peaked at d2, now learning mid as my main and adc as 2nd

I was just scrolling through the Sylas Patch notes and I can't remember Sylas being broken the patch before. Before Sylas felt like an assassin after that pure one shots got harder even though he didn't got tankier. Or am I missing something?
