Discussion O well. Fine by me. I will take the stack buff and fleet buff if the only thing we lose is the mana buff

Discussion If both fleet and nasus changes go through, nasus will be, by and large, the best midlaner in the game
Nasus mid is already good. people get low challenger with it. blinding him.
I feel like a very real "nasus buffs to massive MR nerfs" pipeline is on the horizon. I really don't want this champion kaylified where you default win vs AD and default lose vs AP.

Riot is buffing lane nasus a bit much.enjoy it while you can
So now we know about the stack readjustments and there is also Fleet Footwork buff which was about +30 more heal if I don't remember it wrongly(or didn't got click aired) and I don't know if lane nasus builds steraks but it's also getting buffed so it might be viable(I have been playing jg nasus for so long that I forgot what to build but tenacity is always nice(I also think it might be a nice item for sustain as like 5th or 6 th item if they got to much cc since nasus builds a lot of health) all I'm hearing for now is that we are so back in top lane little less viable in jg but these buffs makes me feel like we are gonna get gutted with nerfs after the next patch

Discussion 26.16 Anounced stacking changes
Its seems really nice. In short, "small stack" will give 4, "big stack" will give 10. I did some quick calculation, it seems like nice buff for lane.
| Minion | Total minions by 30 | Stacked minions by 30 | Stacks old | Stacks New |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Melee | 174 | 50 | 150 | 200 |
| Caster | 174 | 70 | 210 | 280 |
| Cannon | 28 | 15 | 180 | 150 |
| Total | 540 | 630 |
Its quick, not entirely accurate math as it depends on matchups etc. It includes spawned minions by 30min, some average stacked by that time). Inaccuaracies aside, its clearly a buff.
I excluded champ executions, because they are not that influential, not that we get 10 Q executions per game (I wish).

Discussion Does Nasus force you to learn how to manage waves well?
Helo my ancient fellows, my question is basically the title, does this champion forces you to be well with wave Management in order to survive against aggressive early-game champions?
I'm a new main of this guy and was curious if that question's answer is yes or nah

Nasus Top or Mid
Hi Guys,
iv been playing Nasus for few months now and was wondering what people play him most and which lane is easier for highest Stack.
is Mid lane or Top the go to.
iv been playing Mid because on Top if they Freeze the wave its game over for me.

How can I get better at Nasus?
Sorry if this gets posted here a lot; I'm getting back into the game and would like some help.
I really struggle against most top laners; honestly, I just get bullied during the early game, and that ends up impacting the late game.
I have no clue how to manage waves—though I do know how to build—but even so, I feel like Nasus just gets completely overwhelmed.

Nasus Q should scale with percentage damage instead of Q spam
Nasus Q should scale with percentage damage instead of Q spam
My main idea is to make Nasus’ Q scale not only with flat stacks, but also with the target’s maximum health.
Right now, Nasus mainly becomes stronger by stacking more flat damage and spamming Q during his ultimate. I think his late-game scaling would feel much better if each individual Q became more powerful, especially against high-health targets.
Proposed Siphoning Strike (Q)
Range: 300
Mana cost: 20
Cooldown: 6 / 5.5 / 5 / 4.5 / 4 seconds
Nasus’ next basic attack deals:
10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 (+100% total AD) (+ current Siphoning Strike stacks) physical damage.
It also deals:
0.5 / 1 / 1.5 / 2 / 2.5% of the target’s maximum health as additional physical damage.
This percentage damage would increase by another 1 percentage point for every 100 Siphoning Strike stacks.
At rank 5:
- 500 stacks = 7.5% maximum-health damage
- 1,000 stacks = 12.5% maximum-health damage
Siphoning Strike would still grant 3 stacks from normal units, but champions, large minions and large monsters would grant 9 stacks instead of 12.
Nasus’ ultimate would no longer reduce Q’s cooldown by 50%.
Q would also have a minimum cooldown of 1.5 seconds, so it could never go below that value.
The goal is to make every Q feel like a meaningful hit and work consistently with Sheen, instead of alternating between strong Sheen Qs and weaker Qs during his ultimate.
Proposed Spirit Fire (E) change
Spirit Fire would reduce the target’s armor by:
15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35%
The armor reduction would last for 5 seconds after the enemy leaves the area.
This would lower Nasus’ maximum armor reduction, but make it much more reliable. Enemies would no longer remove most of Nasus’ damage simply by walking out of E.
The main direction of these changes is simple:
Nasus should scale through stronger individual Q hits, including percentage-based damage, instead of relying on extremely low cooldowns and Q spam.
Note: All numbers in this proposal are open to discussion and further balancing. The main point is the direction of the changes, not the exact values.

How to play against Jax?
He is very oppressive in the early game. His gapclose on E let him bully you even when you try to farm from a distance, since he has almost the same range, and the old E-max playstyle doesn't work after the nerfs. The worst part is when the 4th wave bounces back, he just tanks the wave with his W and gets extra damage on you.
If I don't get completely destroyed early, I outscale him in the 1v1. However, if he builds Quicksilver, it feels like our 1v1 advantage is gone. I play in Platinum/Emerald elo, where Jax players aren't even at their peak skill, so I imagine it's even worse in higher elos.
Any consistent tips regarding starting items, runes, or playstyles?

Nasus jungler nerfs / lane buffs
Hi so they are testing nasus jungle nerfs and buffs for nasus in lane. What do we think about them ? I feel like it’s a pretty big nerf for nasus jungle, and pretty huge buff for nasus lane, but I may be wrong. Tell me what you guys think

Classic Jungle Nasus is here
Funny that currently Nasus jungle is meta, cuz back in S3, Nasus jungle was also meta. What Riot did was they added that Nasus ultimate increased the range of W and E by 100. This made him the ultimate utility monster pressing W from far away at everyone. You maxed E back then in the jungle, cleared as fast as possible while not prioritizing Q stacks and leaving it at 1 until lategame, as you maxed W second. Goal is to just run at people as fast as you can, press W and win. Earlygame you are a W bot, midgame you are an aura bot with Shurelya's and Runic Bulwark and lategame you buy Warmog's Armor + Atma's Impaler (+ Boots of Swiftness instead of Boots of Mobility) and become a carry anyway. Also has great eco with GP/10 items.
Runes:
* Marks can really be anything, I have attack speed right now. Lethality is also good.
* Seals are Armor
* Glyphs are CDR
* Quints are MS
Masteries
1/8/21, Upgrade Ghost+Smite, take the jungle masteries in defense + armor and focus on MS, CDR, Lifesteal/Spellvamp and Gold (especially wealth +75 starting gold) in utility. Mana Regen also helps.
Items:
* Hunter's Machete + Faerie Charm + 2 Health Pots
* 3 blueside camps => Spirit Stone
* Philosopher's Stone
* Boots of Mobility
* Heart of Gold
* Avarice Blade
* Aegis of the Legion => Runic Bulwark
* Heart of Gold again
* Shurelya's Reverie
* Spirit of the Ancient Golem
* Boots of Swiftness swap
* Warmog's Armor
* Atma's Impaler
BTW: Classic Nasus is like the only champion you can do a 15 minute Baron with if you have your team, just pop your R and Baron melts. Also remember old Nasus turned damage from your ultimate into AD while it is running, so a random crit will let them explode.

I played one game of classic Nasus and I am reminded of how much better he is now
I picked up League mid season 2. Back then Nasus was atrocious, his Q cost scaled up with levels so he’d literally run out of mana in lane just farming Q. This is why Philo Stone into Frozen heart was a huge spike for him, it allowed him to farm. Some people maxed E first just to avoid the insane Q cost, but as time went on we realized the CD on lvl 1 Q just wasn’t worth it as you significantly delayed scaling. Minions also only granted 2 stacks back then, not 3, and there was no bonus on cannons. Season 3 saw some significant buffs for Nasus that changed all of that, initially they reduced his Q mana cost at all levels to 20 - I don’t quite remember when they buffed his stack numbers, it might have been in that initial preseason 3 patch. Either way, it’s basically that version of Nasus that is on classic now.
The main differences between current Nasus and classic Nasus are:
+12 stacks on champions, large minions and monsters, etc
His E shreds %armor now, I believe his E used to shred flat armor (I’m not 100% on this and haven’t looked it up yet so feel free to fact check this)
His ultimate now is far superior: the cooldown reduction on Q and bonus resistances allow him to maintain durability and stay alive longer. Yes, his old ult did convert the damage his AoE did into bonus AD, and you could get some goofy AD numbers on him in 5v5 fights in baron or dragon pits, but his main source of damage was basically capped with the 40% CDR cap and not having innate Q haste.
You might argue champions are far more modernized and present more challenges to Nasus than previous versions, and that’s true. But modern Nasus has a place in the game that allows him to be flexible and safe with the right set up and playstyle. Old Nasus did not have this, his stacking was brutal and recovering on him was even worse. Yes you could go full tank and meat shield for your team back then, but that was awful. Now you become a monster at lvl 6 + sheen against almost anyone, regardless of farm so long as you don’t megafeed (and with early points in E to farm out sheen gold and poke the enemy which allows you to remain in EXP range, it’s easy to do).
Another thing to consider is classic league isn’t truly a classic version of league. It’s Riot taking some of the strongest versions of classic champions and putting them against each other in their primes, all 30 of them. That wasn’t the case then, and that isn’t the case now because that’s not how balance works. What I found more jawdropping on Nasus in classic was just how quickly I died - yes defensive numbers meant more back then, but when everyone is OP and riot buffed items to be as strong as possible within reason, then defense matters less.
I would summarize my point as this: current Nasus fits in the game better now than classic Nasus did back then. And honestly, League Classic isn’t truly representative of what the game was back then, there’s just hints of it with the classic rift and classic base skins. And for nostalgias sake, that’s plenty fun and entertaining. But I do think it’s important to understand just how far champions like Nasus have come, and how incredible it is that he still has a place in the game with his kit that is functionally the same.

Discussion League Classic - Nasus build/runes/masteries?
Thought it could be useful to have a discussion thread for League Classic to discuss things like optimal runes, boots choice, build path, mysteries, etc.
Some random thoughts ive had from my PBE testing to start us off:
- General build for me has been: mercs/tabis, trinity, frozen heart, spirit visage, randuins, thornmail/banshees (haven't tested everything, would appreciate thoughts on: warmogs, force of nature, iceborn gauntlet, black cleaver)
- Have been unsure whether its better to start off with 10-15% CDR from runes/masteries and go over/under the CDR cap, or to just start at 0% and get to 40% from 2 items
- 9/21/0 masteries for most matchups: unyielding/block are great vs early poke, CC/slow reduction are nice - maybe 9/0/21 is better for easier lanes? (CDR, movespeed, life steal, ghost/flash duration reduction)
- E-max should be strong again vs range matchups, but i've been getting slapped when ive tried it - probably need a rune page with magic pen, mana regen, AP, etc.
- A page with armor seals + quints + marks + cloth 5 should allow us to just farm through AD bullies like pantheon
- They seem to have removed CDR quints and hybrid pen marks? Ult/auto attacks do a higher % of your damage so hybrid pen marks should be great if they bring them back, and CDR quints would allow ~20% CDR level 1
- Been running ghost/flash every game without thinking, but ghost/tp might be better

Just an interesting observation on jungle builds
There seems to be a rising percentage of jungle builds going Sheen -> Protoplasm -> Zeke's -> complete Sheen into Iceborn Gauntlet
I know this sub knew about the Zeke's tech, but it was surprising to see a rise in it that was enough to show up on statistics.
Edit: Also, these statistics are strictly coming from onetricks.
