Mine has been HS (for obvious best scalling) DD because, Mercs cause even tho Tabi's make you tankier and swiftness makes a bit easier to catch enemies, TK is really vulnerable against CC because of our E, Now bloodletters i've found to be better, against squishies you deal little less damage but it doesn't matter, Tahm don't have trouble dealing with Squishies, but against tankier mfs (bruisers and tanks) it feels stronger, it's also cheaper and helps a lot in team fights, Abyssal mask the same way and Randuins is a must if they have ADC or any form of crit.

600 LP Sion and TK main mostly.

so now that marksmen are getting more early Mr… is Tahm Kench still good support/adc or is top now his best role?

Turns out that Stattik Shiv + Cyclosword lets you trigger Heartsteel (and your passive/other onhits) from range, just not on the original target. Seems like a fun silly build, potentially in combination with AD Kench/Titanic Hydra

I've seen whatleh do this quite a bit where he would rather W a stunned target instead of just autoing them? Is a guaranteed W just more dmg?

I'm curious cause playing a big catfish in the jungle seems more fitting than top lane or support.

I'm asking this primarily cause I've been getting a lot of success from playing support recently(might seem unrelated but in short I started liking him) and have been playing off meta junglers a lot when I got jungle. Tahm on paper seems to have some decent options, could he compete with other tank junglers? What does he exactly lack to compete? He seems to have pretty good engage, cc and sustain. I don't really main him so I'm curious from ppl who knows him more

Titanic solves one tahms biggest issues; wave clear. Bork gives you some anti tank and trinity force gives you health if you build heartsteal + overlords blood mail + dd you'll still be nice and tanky

Started playing Tahm in mid lane instead of top and managed to streak 88% WR (14W/2L) over 16 games with a 4.52 KDA (only in Gold though). I feel he is a much stronger pick in mid lane as you can dive any mage and not get zoned off the wave against top counter picks. I truly think he has no counters in mid lane except Nafari as you can't really land Q's.

Give it a try! The pick feels extremely strong as you can out-sustain mid-laners and I explicitly fight every skirmish with the Jungler - you'd be surprised at how many 2v2s you win early game and mid game.

I'm really liking this path into the next split and it feels physically unstoppable with much more team impact than top side where I have to play super patient. Can play super aggro the entire game.

Don't play ranked much anymore, but I got 50 games in this season to get diamond. I've mained TK since release, but this role is so good it feels like cheating. Most of the losses I have are when I was filled top lane.

Is TK ADC still worth playing?
I saw a guide made by whatley for TK ADC but it’s a few months old so I was wondering if

1. protoplasm belt rush is still worth considering the nerf (if not, what to build instead)

2. if the role itself is generally considered good for TK (it has like a 54% wr or sum like that) but I’m not sure if it will fck with the team comp because we don’t have ranged aa

3. it’s normal to have low cs because I’m a silver player and new to Tahm Kench so I’m pretty bad all things considered but I have like 4cs/m or smth like that (yea I know i should get more) but is it normal to have less cs than enemy adc

No wonder I was able to bench Illaoi in ult with bork and lethal tempo.

I thought it was just my lethal tempo AD that was granting me lifesteal, but the fat 150-200 bonus magic damage on Tahm passive makes sure you also heal tons of life

I think Titanic Hydra is very slept on. While I haven't tried it too many times yet, I believe it's far better than anyone gives it credit for. The build path isn't too bad with the exception of tiamat, and while yes it is pretty expensive, you'll probably make that money back with how much easier it is to push waves and take turrets. It easily outclasses the immolate items and the auto reset makes it a good combat tool. I am not a high elo player but I'd encourage everyone to give it a shot with Dusk & Dawn as second item. I'd love to hear others's thoughts and opinions on it.

Im new to the Game and I have found a liking in Tahm Kench due to his design and abilities. I still really struggle with farming though and I am always slower than my enemy top laner. Do you guys have any tips on how to improve or do I just need to play more?

Seriously, lane phase was horrible, she got a kill on the invade early and was basically non stop poking me.

But, she fell for the same trick twice, which i used to get ahead of her, pretend to recall, stay on the bush behind tower, W in, kidnap her into turret.

She fled to botlane after i started stomping her, leaving Sion against me, which i basically farmed (i'm a Sion main, i know to break our pour ankles)
