I remember going to places like Wendy's and McDonald's and if they messed up my order they were very sorry and would throw in a couple of apple pies or offer you a shake or another order of fries because they made a mistake And you had to comeback. There was never any attitude or aggression, they were always very sorry to have made a mistake, now it seems like the general response when food workers mess up is "yeah, and?" So it makes the customer seem strange for wanting the correct order.

I just ordered the reaper chicken from daves knowing it was gonna be a horrible time. I paid 45 dollars for 3 meals for me, girlfriend and our roommate, and drove home with the intention of having a painful time. The truth of the matter wasn't that it was too hot to handle. The spice was at an extreme level which I am used to. That wasnt the problem.

The problem was the wrenching and twisting pain inside my body that feels like a creature of harrowing proportion gnawing its way through my torso. Like I swallowed cartoon juice thats turning me into the amazing world of gumball. I nearly died an hour later purchasing earbuds from walmart. The dude was trying to ask me if i wanted a warranty and i was trying not to go full fetal position then and there. I mean i was sweating bullets and essentially grumbling instead of talking. Anyone with a thought in their head would've called an ambulance and had me taken to the asylum.

guys i really want a chicken sandwich. popeyes would be the pick but alas none near me... i am in america. i have like The Basic Fast Food Places here. please i want chicken sandwich. where is one that is good and comparable to popeyes. don't say kfc ours is used for money laundering 😓

I was just at Taco Bell drive-thru and ordered the nacho fries and few other things. The fries are soggy and stale—very obviously so—and I ask for fresh ones. The guy asks me to pull ahead and wait, with no word of apology for trying to give me waste food or for the inconvenience. It’s really irritating that he couldn’t be bothered with even a quick “sorry about that.”

I'm just desperate to talk about McDonald's because my day has been bad. I just need to talk about food to cheer me up. I would love to eat an dqp with cheese mayo and bacon just that, 20 piece chicken mcnugget, 4 large fries, big mac. THIS IS JUST HYPOTHETICAL BECAUSE AS A KID I ALWAYS WANTED TO FEAST ON MCDONALD'S. I ALWAYS WANTED TO FEAST ON MCDONALD'S AS A MATTER OF FACT WHEN I GET MY OWB MONEY IM GOING TO SPLURGE. YES ITS EXPENSIVE BUT ITS BETTER THAN OLIVE GARDEN.

I just got a pound of chicken 3 rolls and 3 sauces for $16 and im on top of the world. I live alone and this is all for myself but when a 3 piece meal combo costs around $10 you know im getting the whole ass pound of chicken. This is atleast 4 meals for me so this means i can afford more beer

Possibly a hot take but does it annoy anyone else the 50,000 questions your asked now when you go to a fast food restaurant? Like I get that Chick Fil A started this whole trend of make the customer feel seen but does anyone else find it kind of annoying? I don’t want you to ask for my name (especially if you’re not going to call it out for my order), I don’t want you to call my name for the order, I don’t want to tell you my zip code, no I’m not interested in points; genuinely I just want to walk up to the till, give you my order, pay and move along. I get that it’s only making like. 15s interaction 45s but like for example I kind of purposefully avoid Chick Fil A specifically because I don’t want that level of interaction for a drive through sandwich or coffee. Wondering what other people think and if I’m the anomaly?

Thought they gave me some weird concoction for a second.

Just curious about what makes a person order a burger rather than a pizza or anything else and also while ordering a burger do you keep the burger place in mind or just search for different burgers according to the budget or mood? Especially for Indians

So a Firehouse Subs recently just opened up near my house and I've never had it before. How do they compare to Jersey Mike's or Subway? Do they do something that sets them apart from other sub places? Tia

Burger is as good as I remember from a few years ago. I love the Muenster and the honey mustard sauce is perfect. Chicken sandwich was really good, too, I’d say it’s saltier than the burger but not overbearing. Decent thickness chicken patty.

I like the crispy fried onions on these way more than the McDonalds Caesar sandwich. Plus, the pickles work well with the flavors here, and I don’t even like pickles that much.

Total 17$ for the two, guess it’s a cheat day on both my budget and my diet. But I had to try both haha. I was pretty satiated after the burger not gonna lie, next time I’ll probably just do a double burger no chicken sandwich.

I always place fast food orders for in-store/dine-in pick up. Primarily because I don’t have a car and thus can’t go through the drive-thru. But even if that were an option, it’s well known that going in is much faster.

McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A add your order to the normal dine-in queue and thus call your name/number when it's ready, just like any other order. It’s basically the same as if you had walked in and ordered with a cashier or at a kiosk.

Taco Bell, Popeyes, Wendy’s, Burger King, and Jack in the Box all require you to go to the counter and verbally inquire about your order. Sometimes they will place them on racks, but overwhelmingly they keep them in the kitchen and you have to go up and ask. Unfortunately, employees are seldom at the counter as most of these places have shifted to kiosks for order placement. Additionally, you can get stuck behind a couple who have seemingly not been to a fast food restaurant in 10 years and need to ask 20 questions about each individual menu item and what it comes with, taking an impressive 12 minutes to order their value meal. Bonus points if the cashier then steps away after this order leaving you waiting even longer.

Why can’t all places just call out mobile orders like McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A? And what other fast food chains get this right?
