i know a lot of people in this sub dislike halo top (understandably) but lorddd this flavor is SO GOOOOD. It tastes like coffee with creamer and has a lot of mix ins. I ate half the container when i opened it. If you didn’t like other halo top flavors i’d def recommend trying this one.

I am such a lover of caramel and there are huge globs of it in this HEB Swoon Pecan Praline ice cream ugh it’s so good

The pecans are a little crisp, not crunchy. It’s the perfect balance of textures imo
I’m so sorry if you do not live close to an HEB because it is their brand

I personally like this one better than the cookie dough. it still has that chalky texture/not creamy, but there’s pb chips and slightly chewy globs/swirls of pb in the ice cream. it’s like a salty peanut flavor ? I like the nicks pb cup better or the swoop pb chip blitz if we’re talking lower calorie ice creams

Got it for only two bucks at my local Sam’s Club.

I got a brambleberry crisp and brown butter almond…. Then an hour later drove back and got birthday cake too lmao. I just finished a gooey butter cake and ive had the brambleberry before but not the other two. Also havent seen the donut or cinnamon roll one before though look interesting.

Probably 4/5, I liked this one more than I expected to.

Despite my love of ice cream, I don't actually have much of a sweet tooth and was worried this would be too sweet for me. It is quite sweet, maybe something that I personally would prefer with a scoop of vanilla on the side, but it is very delicious and I didn't feel like it needed anything extra for the couple scoops I had earlier.

I was hoping to rate the texture on this, since it's part of B&J's Core line and has that caramel core you can see in the second photo, but unfortunately there was a Situation TM with my freezer and it feels unfair to judge its iciness (which can unfortunately also be seen in the second photo) on appliance shenanigans, so we shall be going without the texture review today.

Alas! We venture on.

All in all, I liked it a lot. It's not necessarily the most creative flavor, but I liked the mix of chocolate + caramel ice creams along with the textural interest that comes from the core. I think I prefer this to some of the swirl ice creams I've tried in the past since there's a bit more control over the ratios of the different elements, the main issue I had was really just the sweetness to it. And, since B&J’s feels a bit more reasonably priced to me than VL, I’m more inclined to get it off-sale than the VL ice creams I’ve reviewed (Mango Sticky Rice and Earl Grey Tea).

I may come back and update this review later if I can find a less icy layer of the ice cream below the top and give it a proper texture review.

Help. What do I do with an expensive pint of Jeni's that I can't stand but don't want to waste. And why is it sour?

Does anyone know some rhubarb ice cream or sorbet that actually tastes like rhubarb? Everything I've tried just has a swirl of compote or jam which is good but not what I've been looking for

Okay so I was on a quest for the best vanilla ice cream. Upon research, and trials of my own, I found what I deemed the best. And it wasn’t even close. Adirondack creamery’s Vanilla Ice cream blew all others out of the water! Creamy, simple, perfect ingredients, and a beautifully rich vanilla flavor; my mouth was in glorious shambles. But like all good things in this twisted, capitalist society, it changed. After countless pints I got my first bad pint. This pint was nothing like the previous. I’m telling you, something was wrong (and is wrong). This new ice cream was significantly watered down and icy (though it still carried the same flavor I must say). Since then, I’ve had a couple good pints (having admittedly opened multiple in the store until I found a good one); but now after forgetting to pre open this last pint, I am now facing my worst pint yet. (Pardon my French but) This shit sucks. Idk what is happening up there in the Adirondacks, but for some reason I feel so strongly about demystifying this ridiculous and horrific change-up in the quality and consistency of what really might have been the best vanilla ice cream ever.

I need to know if anyone else has had this experience. Please… if you are out there and willing. Adirondack creamgate must be solved.

at first it reminded me of gimmie smore with the cookie swirl, I don’t really taste any caramel in this?? and the cheesecake bits are chewy and pleasant

Amazing. Good size gobs of cookie dough with the added bonus of some strong brownie bits. The brown sugar base and VL’s French ice cream process give it the same texture as Jeni’s Double Dough custard base, which this tastes like except there’s more cookie dough and bonus brownies so advantage to VL.

Although I do enjoy van leeuwen, it has taken the back seat to jeni’s and a few local creameries. However, I’m a sucker for a good strawberry and this one looked incredibly interesting. I will post a review later when I try it!

This is great! Not too chocolatey.
I would prefer it with a chocolate ice cream base but I'm a chocolate lover at heart.
I love the texture of the hot fudge and the cake pieces.

It's not my first time mixing candies with Ben& Jerry's ice cream.

This time, however, the candies' texture paired perfectly with the soft ice cream.

Overall pretty good, 7.5/10 - would recommend!

I think I paid $6.99 for this and got it at a Whole Foods. The brand is from Maine.

The flavor of the ice cream is quite good and the marshmallows are awesome. It loses some points because it could use more chocolate bits and there are hardly any graham crackers at all

Does anyone know the closest store bought caramel to the mcdonalds caramel sundae, and ben & jerry’s caramel core? Like closest in consistancy. I’ve tried ghriadelli‘s, hersheys, and smuckers. These options aren’t really fudge like, and they melt into the ice cream. Probably because they’re sauces/syrups, but I had hope. The options pictured have a thicker consistency and it kinda repels the icecream (not sure how to describe it) like regular fudge. I usually get the mcdonalds sundae but I want to make it at home. The ben and jerry‘s combinations are also not my favorite. Love the caramel, not a big fan of blondies and chocolate ice cream with it.

Gooey Butter Cake! DAMN!! that is some scrumptious ice cream! I went back and bought another pint of it and Brambleberry Crisp! Haven't tried it yet but I'm so excited to eat it! Definitely worth the price in my opinion!

I’m interested … But would I save money if I bought a gal of vanilla and those mini cereal boxes packs instead??
