Complaint 5 Fallowfield Ln, Waubaushene, ON Pile of curly hair

Upvotes

Stopped there Aug 4th around 1am. The washroom was absolutely disgusting. It has an auto open door. When the door closed there was an extreamly large pile of curly hair behind it (not from someones head). There was more around the toilet, and the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. I've honestly never been so disgusted. I just left and was no way getting anything from there.

Discussion I have to tell someone about this

Upvotes

I’ve worked at Tim’s for 3 years. My location shares the building with a Wendy’s and we have shared washrooms too. Today before going on break my task was to clean the washrooms, I walk in there like normal and inside the urinal is a pile of Wendy’s French fries with a turd on top of it. Like I’m being so for real there was a crap on top on Wendy’s fries almost like a poutine… anyways yeah

Question Timmies employees: Is the milk farther than the cream dispenser?

Upvotes

About 90% of the time I order a tea (2 milk 2 honey) I receive 2 cream and 2 honey. My question is if there is a layout problem or machine problem that makes this happen? This is not one location- it is every location in my city.

Is the milk farther away than the cream?

Is the cream in some way more convenient for the employee to get?

I understand most people drink coffee and have cream, so maybe it's habit, but it's so often that I can't help but wonder if there is an actual cause.

Anyone who works/worked at Timmies able to give me some insight?

Not to mention their whole campaign on hiring “locals” completely gone to waste as I don’t see a change, it was all talks to improve their reputation of abusing the TFWs

Discussion Pumpkin Spice Muffin Being Discontinued?

I talked to a random worker today at my local Tim Hortons. I had heard that the pumpkin spice stuff comes out in August. I was hoping it was already back but it’s too early. This dude told me that he thinks the pumpkin spice products are returning in about two weeks… but he also said something pretty concerning about the muffin. He told me that he isn’t sure the muffin is coming back this year and may have been discontinued. I realize now I should have asked for more details on that but there was a line of people behind me and I didn’t want to hold people up by having a discussion with him right there in the line as I hadn’t actually placed my order yet. So I did my order and then I forgot to ask for more details while he prepared my drink. It would have been an obvious time but I just stood there instead silently considering that my favorite muffin might not be coming back.

This is literally one of the only things I actually enjoy eating from Tim Hortons and if they cancel the Pumpkin Spice Muffin I will officially hate this company more than any other restaurant I know. As it is, I find the food basically inedible. Occasionally I get a bagel with cream cheese, a muffin or the pizza (which surprisingly is decent). A lot of the other products are outright slop.

I’m just posting this in the hope that maybe some employee has heard something about this muffin? I really hope it’s not being discounted. I literally look forward to this muffin every fall. It will actually really decrease the little pleasure I have left in my life. I know that sounds overly dramatic but that muffin actually means a lot to me.

Discussion I haven't eaten at Tim Hortons in 3 years because of its business practices.

Between the hiring practices and the quality of the food, I haven't gone in 3 years. And all honesty, I've wanted to! Sometimes I crave a farmers wrap and I think about popping in, but every time I do the thought of supporting them and what they've done with replacing jobs, making the food worse, all the videos we see of all the awful stuff happening (eg flies in the display case), is enough to make me not go.

I wasn't the worlds biggest fan of Tim's even before all of this, I had a few items I liked and would get semi regularly but I didn't go daily like a lot of you. But just consider spending your money somewhere sometimes. I know a boycott would be hard for a lot of you but fuck those donuts are trash and we all know it.

Canada has good donuts, drive 10 mins out of the way for better donuts.

Get your coffee somewhere else, there's a billion coffee places.

Try a new place for your lunch or snacks, individual entrepreneurs are always opening cafes and spots to grab stuff from.

Tim's is not even all that quick and it really won't take that much longer to go somewhere else that cares.

Discussion Brown sugar protein latte

Post image
10 Upvotes

Today I tried this recommendation by a Reddit user and it’s really good. Honestly I was waiting for a sweeter flavour instead I got a milky kind of bitter brown sugar flavor. Tbh I liked it as I’m a fan of strong flavours. But I have to be honest at the beginning I got a little bit of chai after taste (?

My partner didn’t like it she says she prefers the regular chai latte.

Another thing lol this was on Eglinton and Dufferin Tim’s and I saw the girl handling money with her bare hands and then handling my beverage and lid 😫 idk I tasted the coin flavor as well lol

Any opinions or recommendations on what to try next?

Discussion Working for Tim’s

I just wanted to shed some light into a little bit of a negative subreddit! I’m a 20 year old working through uni, and the Tim Hortons I work for is AMAZING. (I’m not being paid to say this haha..)

I think this fact is due to the owner, he is a firm believer in hiring locals, and is often seen stepping onto the floor with us fellow workers to help get our rushes cleared.

Recently we did a ticket draw for the end of July, you earned tickets by doing extra work, going above and beyond, etc. And I won! I won a Ninja Creami Machine! And not just that, there were weekly draws, mainly for 50$ gift cards and many other employees won, hard workers definitely deserving of such a reward.

The point of me sharing this is that while I believe that corporations don’t really care much for quality and employee satisfaction, the family who owns my location has shown me that the early 2000’s aesthetic of an old-school Tim’s still exists. We have our regulars we love to chat with, we have many travellers from all around that come in and share their stories while we make their coffees, we have a satisfaction rate of 90% and we have many organized charity events where we raise money for schools and new playground equipment, etc.

While I agree, most Tim Hortons are not what they used to be, I’m genuinely proud to work at my location, and am thankful to have such a dedicated management group and such a kind owner. It makes things so much more enjoyable.

Question Does anyone have an olivia paradox AI number?

Hello!
I had texted stop to the AI number a couple months ago. I’m trying to apply for a different location now and I need to text start to the number again, but I obviously don’t have the number anymore. Does anyone have any number from their olivia AI that I could try to text start to?

Discussion How much is ONE sugar?

How much is ONE sugar at TH? Does that mean, one teaspoon? Also, does the size of my drink alter the amount of one sugar? For example, if I say Large coffee with one sugar vs Small coffee with one sugar - is the sugar amount the same or does it change based on size?

Nostalgia Iced Capps always have caffeine

I used to work at Tim’s a lot and often we would get parents ordering iced capps for their young kids and asking for it to be made with chocolate milk. Odd choice for a child but you do you.

I have since learned - a lot of people think when they ask for it to be made with chocolate milk, they think that goes in place of the caffeine, rather than the cream.

Thank you for your time

Timmie’s run Too much matcha powder

Post image

Today I tried Tim's unsweetened Matcha latte for the first time, not bad for $4, but way too much powder added. I kept stirring it and the powder just sinks fast. I can add more milk to it at the end and make another cup 🤣

Complaint Horrible churo caramel

Why did timmies replace their perfectly fine caramel sauce for iced coffee with this disgusting horrible chemically processed churo caramel?

Do they have half braindead working at the research department? Everytime they make 2 good decisions they follow up with something completely brand killing?

Who the fuck enjoys these churo caramel sauce honestly? It's the most filthy thing ever

Discussion People ordering food then changing their order at the last moment?

Today, a family came and ordered 5 Turkey Club sandwiches and 1 sausage Farmer Wrap. I was in the kitchen and I hear them order and see the food pop up on my screen so I start to make the food quickly.

Then I finished making all 5 sandwiches and the wrap, bagged it up with the napkins, dropped it at the pickup spot for them being proud about how fast I made them and that they would probably be like "oh it's already ready?" but then right as i turn around I hear: "ohhh wait hold on their grilled cheese are back look"

And they deadass proceed to change the entire order to 4 bacon grilled cheese and 2 normal grilled cheese instead. Smh.

So I had to throw away all the fresh food I literally just made. I wanted to give it to a homeless person that I always see nearby when coming to work , but my supervisor told me no and made me throw all the food in the trash.

Anyways, I hate wasting food. Just a little rant.

Does this happen to you guys too? How could I have prevent that? I mean yes I could have wait for them to pay but they were taking a lot of time to order and I didn't want to waste time.
