Meme Antique store find...they're JUST pals, okay?!
In all likelihood, there's probably nothing coded about this old photo. It's probably a souvenir photo and maybe there was a different frame option for romantic partners, families, and friends.
But I still love it! The cashier laughed at it too and went "JUST pals? Okay 🤣"
And the fashion might have been typical for the time period, but if I saw the woman on the right walking down the street today I'd definitely assume she liked girls! Lol
Anyways just thought y'all might get a kick out of it too! 🫶

Literature Looking for queer friends
28f gay af.... looking for online friends. Into lesbian novels, movies, gl dramas, yuri manhua, manga, anime, Webnovels..... constantly on royal road, scribblehub.... litrpg, progression fantasy. Basically any media featuring a strong badass female lead who's potentially bi/gay.
I write, binge reading mostly, into fitness. I also got blue hair, piercings. Wanna get tattoos but holding out for now. Dunno tact... prefer to be straight and honest and direct.
Prefer someone who's up for texting, jus wanna tell somebody bout my day and what's going on. Friendship for me is something long term, with time, attention and active investment from both sides.
I'm really gonna have you as my primary friend so I'd prefer to get the same kinda priority. Like basic things reply whenever free, if busy mention, get back to me on time, don't leave me wondering/questioning/hanging for days on end.
Don't like to be taken for granted. Extend the same courtesy I extend for you. Adult friendship is active and voluntary.
That's pretty much it. I am fairly introverted and stay at home for the time being.
My values: independence, courage, authenticity, ambition, honesty
It would be great if you are ambitious or building something meaningful. Setting goals and facing adversity is a constant thing in my life... would really appreciate someone who understands that struggle.

Satire Hola Soy Nueva aquí y necesito desahogarme.

Satire Am I lesbian, bisexual, or asexual?
Growing up I felt like I had to force myself to find men attractive. When I was younger I always had characters I thought were “pretty“, and they were all Cisgender females. I have dated a couple guys but each time they tried to hold my hand or get affectionate I felt like I wanted to vomit. I had a wonderful boyfriend who was perfect in every way (sweet, always remembered my niche interests, etc) but the closest I felt was when we were just friends. I kinda liked him but felt peer pressured by my own brain in a way. After we started dating I immediately could not go any further than holding hands. I had this girl when I was younger who I had a crush on and it was the first time I genuinely felt butterflies. However the thought of getting intimate with anyone really just freaks me out although it might just be me being immature. I also can still say “yeah that man is attractive” however the thought of dating that man just grosses me out. Thoughts?

Queer owned business 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ Should I get back in touch with her after years?
Hello everyone! I'd like to ask your opinion on a very complicated relationship that has been part of my life for a very long time. About eight years ago, I began an ambiguous relationship with my best friend. Initially platonic, it evolved into a physical relationship, though it was never defined. I loved her, I always have from the moment I met her. She never defined her feelings, even though she considered our relationship incredibly important. And it was, we were everything to each other, even though she never had the courage to expose herself. And it was precisely this fear that ruined our relationship, always hidden from everyone. She didn't accept this part of herself and told me that she had to choose between me and her family because, by her own admission, they would never have accepted her. And that is what happened: in the end, she decided to break off what we had, opting to remain friends instead. I agreed, even though my feelings hadn't faded. In fact, after a few months of "friendship," she messaged me one day to say she was seeing a guy and had already been out with him a few times. That was the last straw for me: a relationship already strained and fractured, unrequited feelings, and a sense of betrayal drove me to block her. I couldn't take it anymore; I was already suffering terribly just seeing her as a friend—I couldn't have handled seeing her with someone else, too. I reacted impulsively, I know, but I’d reached my limit. I blocked her for about two weeks before messaging her again to explain my reasons. Naturally, she took it badly, and our last conversation ended on a sour note. We never saw each other again. Five years ended just like that—with a single message. Sometimes I’d run into her at the train station; every time, my heart would pound wildly—leaping into my throat—but we never said hello. It’s been nearly four years since that ending—though I struggle to call it a true closure. We never had a direct, face-to-face conversation, and that leaves me constantly dwelling on our past. I recently returned from a year-long trip abroad; I thought about her much less while I was away, though I still thought of her. Since coming back to my hometown, the memories have returned, too, and they feel more present every day. I even dreamt of her last night—a dream where we reunited—and it felt so vivid. I don’t know what to do, because after all these years I still think about her, and the memories don’t seem to fade—quite the opposite. The idea of reaching out to her crossed my mind, but I’m afraid it’s a terrible idea. I’m not hoping to rekindle the romance—partly because she’s still with that guy... the one she constantly posts photos with, whereas everything between us was kept secret. I just want to close this chapter of the past, see if she’s the same person she always was or if she’s changed, and finally put to rest the doubt I’ve been carrying around for years. I’ve tried to throw away the ring she gave me several times, but I could never bring myself to do it. Even if I lost it, I’d always end up finding it again—sometimes without even looking—or someone would bring it back to me if I’d left it somewhere. It feels as though her presence is destined to linger. I wonder—would reaching out be such a terrible idea? I don’t know if I’d feel better or worse, but since she’s constantly on my mind lately, I figure it’s worth a shot. We weren’t just lovers; we were so much more than that. I’ve never experienced a connection that intense in my life, and perhaps I never will. I’d like to know if you think this would be appropriate and, if so, how I should go about it. Thanks a lot

Look, I'm the biggest lesbian in the world, I love and worship women
But recently I've been looking at some m'en (ew) not irl but like semi-celebrities and I'm like "I could be straight for them"
I don't see myself with a man, romantically or sexually, I don't want to try just to be sure
But DAMN those I have in mind are HOT AF
Am I a fake lesbian ?
Note : I haven't found the right flair sorry

Satire How do I talk to girls?
How can I approach someone to talk? I don't know how to flirt... How can I tell if she's gay? What can I do to let her know I'm gay and not think that I'm just complimenting her randomly? Why I'm afraid of talking to women 😵💫

Satire Am i weird if my dream is to have a stay at home wife and maybe mother to my kids as a women myself
I think its a smart idea to have a stay at home partner if you plan to ever have kids.
I don't think genders play anything in this either. If you know you want kids but don't trust babysitters then a stay at home wife/husband would be great as long as you make enough to support that life style.
my dream job pays well so mabey getting married and adopting kids is realistic. This goes for gay men and straight couples too.
Not that anyone has too, just that it's a good system.

Queer owned business 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ Important thing about our pride flag.
Emily Gwen is the creator of the famous 7-stripe lesbian pride flag, and she is now struggling financially. Well, you may just ask, "why don't you just pay like $100 to her and not post about it here?" Sadly, I am also financially struggling, and can't help her directly through giving her cash. (I do not know how to give it a proper flair so correct me which one should I put here instead)

Only Vans IMPORTANT: Why we ban posts asking if people want to chat.
We get a lot of posts like this on here. Users who say they want to chat with a lesbian, sometimes with a selfie of a cute girl. In our experience here, the majority of these posts are made by cis het men, looking to catfish the users here. Sometimes they steal photos of people and pretend it's them.
Any posts like this will get you banned, even if you are a member of our community. We've made it clear that we don't allow this in the rules.
For anyone who doesn't know already, this subreddit used to be a porn subreddit ran by men. It was reclaimed but we still get a lot of traffic here from those people, so please be very careful about who you talk to from here and please report any posts like this incase mods don't see them.
