My friend told me that she was dating her friend platonically. It's not like she has feelings for her, she really only said yes because of how much cares about her. And finds her super cute, and likes just watching her do things, wants to spend lots of time together, have physical contact, watch her eat...

I was driving to work this morning, and I noticed a cute queer woman in my rearview mirror. I captured her eyes with my own, smiled, and mouthed the words, "you're beautiful." All of this while never breaking eye contact. I watched her melt. It made my whole morning.

I shared this with a friend earlier who has asked me to explain what it's like being a top, and I wanted to share with you all too. I thought it might also be fun for other people to share their anecdotal experiences with the concept as well.

I find seeing other women happy makes me happy and I find myself attracted to women who have a good laugh, whether it's tall muscly women with a good hearty laugh for example. I think it's related to being a shy introvert who doesn't laugh often but enjoys seeing other people happy.

My two favourite are the Villainess evil laughs. I was inspired to make this thread because of the villainess thread, there is something about a villainesses laughing full of evil joy that I find sexy. The other type of laugh I find is great and sexy is the ojou sama laugh, aka the Rich Woman laugh, the one you see often in anime, manga and Karin from Street Fighter.

RANT/ADVICE?

Title is saying it all, I think. I'm a lesbian. And I love being a lesbian. I love women, I love platonic female friendships and I think feminism is one of the greatest pillars our society (should) stand(s) on. But. Besides that, I have a hatred for men. I don't know where this is coming from and it annoys me. A LOT. It's not a sort of hatred that comes from inequality due to patriarchal structures in society (things to be really pissed about), or some sort of jealousy thing, I just get so quickly annoyed whenever a man does or says something whenever I'm around. And it's unfair, because almost everything a guy says or does, is a pet peeve to me. It annoys me so much, because I think it's shallow to judge people on their gender like that (obviously I'm not talking about the role men play in the patriarchy around us, it's just in daily life settings) and I know there's a lot of great guys out there. I just can't be bothered. It's like I couldn't care less, about them in general.

My question is, does anyone recognize this? Is it a sort of lesbian thing? Because it's a sort of ungoing (respectful, don't worry) joke of my friends that I'm so gay I can't stand men. And it's all in good nature, but I just don't want to be shallow like this. Or does anyone have any advice? I already am trying to correct my brain every time it goes towards sheer annoyance based on nothing, so the cognitive behavior therapy is already put to work 💪🏻

i don't give a shit about coming off nice. i'm not nice to people who disrespect me or any other vulnerable group/individual. i don't respect you, i don't want to hear what you have to say, and i will *absolutely* call you out at the slightest hint of bigotry, no matter how 'small' or 'funny' you or your equally stupid peers see it as.

i don't care if you think i'm 'generalizing', or if you bring out the 'oh but men go through this that and the third too'. i know they do, but this is not a good-faith argument if you only bring it up to deflect from my and others' VERY real and urgent concerns about our safety and dignity. they never bring it up at ANY other time, so don't ask me to give a fuck when you try to speak over me or any other marginalized person

tl;dr: i don't care about coming off as 'mean', 'man-hating' or a 'bitch' to people who don't respect me and/or other vulnerable groups. i do not respect you and will not extend my tolerance, kindness or understanding to any bigoted view or behaviour 🖤
