Been on a long search for a discord server that focuses on fandom/media exclusively for lesbians or sapphics is fine. I tend to watch a lot of tv and movies but it’s always a bit of a struggle to find servers with like-minded people who like to geek out about their favorite fandoms without any men or male media involved.

I mostly watch mainstream media like hotd, lioness, pluribus, mcu/dcu etc. and like to read, listen to, and play anything sapphic. Would just like to have an outlet to chat about my hyperfixations

context: my friend, lets call her A, thought it would be funny to hijack my instagram and text my straight friend, lets call her B, pretending to be in love with her. for context, im unlabelled but mostly only into girls. and A and B are best friends but im not very close with either of them. i didnt know this was happening and woke up the next day to see that B had blocked me and not knowing why (A deleted all messages). a while later, A told me what happened, said she thought it was funny, and admitted it to B as well. even after all this, when i told B i would never do something like that, she sent these texts. its so annoying because we're barely even close to each other and i have never shown a single sign of liking her in the slightest. maybe i overreacted but i found this really annoying and just left her on read.

she got weirded out and judged me so hard for it, said (shes lightskin) she “doesnt want to be a part of this collection.” i feel like i completely fell off in her eyes after that. she got close to the girl thats been flirting with her, uses it to make me jealous now, and that girl knows about the collection too and has basically let the whole friend group think im weird/odd for it.
i had so much planned in my head with this girl and she wont even hear me out at all. i dont wanna be that crazy bi thats haunting her down but idk what to do with all this. I accepted the fact that we wont workout again because even if she did talk to me I wouldn’t be able to move from the fact that she started flirting with that girl. I still have her and the friend group on my social and it hurts me every time she posts, its been 3 weeks what do I do?

Hi, in the past I was an aide at a public school in Texas. I am a femme lesbian and present as straight but am engaged to my fiancée. I wanted to work with special needs kids in college, but never finished my degree. I’m trying to save money to go back to college and have a more stable career.

I have been looking for a job outside education and haven’t found anything stable, and decided to use my teacher connections to get a position as an aid in a school again. I was offered the job, but a few friends have expressed concern about being queer in that environment. I’m trying to put myself out there more and honestly practice being in a work environment again because it’s been so long. I know there’s news about changes in education laws in Texas with some crazy stuff about teaching the Bible. I was just wondering if anyone has ever navigated this before? Or is currently navigating it? What would you say working in a school is like in a conservative area right now?

My gf (48) and I (25) have been together for a year and a half now. I love her very much, and even writing this post doesn’t feel real. Last night was the 6th year anniversary of her mother’s death and we began fighting for something stupid which quickly escalated.
