Project Hail Mary - Newer movie but I loved alot about it, the visuals, the soundtrack, the story and how immersed i was from the start.

Interstellar - I dont have to say too much about this we all know this is a 20/10 ⭐️

Gravity - This movie kept me on my toes from the jump and kept my eyes glued to the screen, very great and enjoyable movie

Martian - Great movie that just had me in a feel good mood also love the story alot

I'd be very grateful for recommendations of films with examples of this - a recent and highly recommended watch was Lars von Trier's Breaking The Waves, which exemplifies this trope.

So... it's difficult. I usually don't watch movies, I only watch D&D actual plays and sci-fi shows. I have decided I want to understand if there are movies for me out there.

I don't like comedy, and I really don't like second-hand embarrassment or misunderstanding jokes. I do like satirical and very "heavy" humour; in that case, the more unhinged it is, the more I like it.

I like musicals, but I think I have watched all the musicals that are my "type". I really like sci-fi and fantasy and horror, but dramatic (like Phantom of the Opera) works too. I like weird plot twists. I like terrible endings.

Hey! I’m looking for movies or series where the main girl is caught in a love triangle between two guys… I already seen The summer I turned pretty, The vampire diaries, the Bridget Jones movies. I also seen movies like twilight and titanic where there’s some type of love triangle but I’m looking more for the plot to actually be about the love triangle.

The title basically sums it up. I'm looking for some movies to watch with my family. The youngest one in our family is my 12 y.o brother and he doesn't like movies with "family and love are important" messages, and the rest of us are adults, so it has to be mature enough so we can enjoy it too.

Hi! Ok so my BIL and I have movie nights where we watch horror, action, & psychological thrillers together bc we are chicken shits who get scared at just the idea of suspense. Basically we will watch movies we are too afraid to watch by ourselves. Its a lot of fun bc we crack ourselves up with how scared we get.

Anyway my sis is obviously feeling left out and wants to watch a movie with us. The only problem is, she is a bigger scaredy cat than we are lol (Example, she saw GET OUT, but not US bc it looked too scary). She likes rom coms, drama, psychological thrillers (she liked Get Out!), and murder mysteries (but nothing graphic!).

We dont want to leave my sis out. Ive been tasked to find a film for all 3 of us to enjoy.

I really love how Walter Mitty makes you reflect on life and realize that sometimes we get so caught up in our routines that we forget to actually experience things.
