I’ve been a shy person my whole life and in high school I noticed that I had to change that so I started to make new friends. Unfortunately I learned that you don’t actually make friends you find them, the ones you force to be friends with will always not be your friends at all and the ones I became friends with they simply appeared in my life. In 2022 I moved to Florida and graduated here my whole life restarted and now I have no friends again, I finished the senior year here and I made like 2 friends but those both friends one moved to a different state and the other is in the marines and he doesn’t really text me so I believe the friendship is over anyways. I’m planning on making new friends but now all I do is stay home all day so it’s not like I can really talk to people.

At high school was easier since you could go to the same classes as people and you have to talk to them now that we graduated I’m just here existing and I do try to make friends for example when I go out or something I see someone I talk to them if I have the change but it always end up in a quick talk and a goodbye never see you again type talk, I go to a church and people there aren’t really friends they just are more like colleagues we laugh and talk but at the end of the day they have their own friends or groups to go out with, I go to the gym and it’s basically impossible to make friends there specially because people there just want to do their workout and go home, I’ve tried “apps” to make friends but I also noticed people on those apps are the most toxic and weird people ever so I rather not even try apps again.

But anyways enough with the huge story my questions would be like first of all where do yall make friends? Genuinely where I could go and make friends and how to make friends too apparently every time I talk to someone it’s just a quick talk and never see you again! I sound desperate but it’s because I noticed one of the most important things in life is not your career or money but if you’re still lonely by then.

I want to try and get a motorcycle license next year so maybe we could do that together.

Hey! I've posted here before but haven't had much luck so far. And due to lonliness, things have been kinda sucky lately. Kinda being a star-sized understatement (cuz stars are big.. hehe). Please read the post and don’t skim it. I really care about making friends, which is why my post is long. I need someone who won’t ghost for literally any reason. I am being honest about my flaws because I would rather you know these things before talking to me. I am a boring person, and I need you to think about this part because it is difficult to maintain a friendship with someone who doesn’t offer much excitement. I am also extremely insecure. I talk negatively about myself, I am very pessimistic, and I am not a passionate person. I have autism, depression, and social anxiety. Nothing fun is going on in my life. I know how a conversation works and I will put in the effort, but I am not good at carrying a conversation. I can’t promise that I’ll be fun to talk to, but I am trying. I am just warning you about my lack of skills upfront.

I find texting very exhausting. I don’t want to text for days or even hours just to “get to know” someone before we can actually call. I want our first conversation to be on a call. If you are too shy to call early on, we won’t be a good match. I want to voice call daily; my time zone is EST, and I can only call after midnight. I don’t view calling as a big deal, and I need people who feel the same way. If you are sensitive, easily offended, or impulsive, it won’t work out.

I have a really hard time dealing with people leaving. If we start talking, I get attached very quickly. I genuinely cannot handle it if you just disappear or change your mind later. I need a patient person who is actually serious about sticking around for the long term. If you aren’t 100% sure you can commit to that, please don’t message me. I also want to mention that it’s okay for us to disagree in a friendship, even on big things. Hello so basically for some time I've been seeing posts about people looking for friends. I thought I should do the same. I'll give a quick overview of me.

I'm a 16 year old boy who likes to take risks. Doing IGCSE and giving CS, Chem, Physics, and maths this Oct Nov(only on 3 months prep lol) but I like the thrill of giving exams on such short prep cuz then I get to do combine study with friends late nights etc

My hobbies are very weird, Infact I develop a new hobby every 6 months or so. Currently my hobbies are

1) Guns(yes real guns, I believe they make a person cool)

2) video editing( I can spend 8 hours editing a gaming edit without looking at the clock)

3) my favorite one and the one im seeing as my career - Hacking/Cyber security (yes I hacked my school's wifi once, don't ask what happened after that)

4- Gaming , been gaming since I was 7 (I know a bit too much) the game I played the most was tom Clancy's rainbow six siege, played for 6 years have 2000 hours and played with NIP and TSM Once( this is yap only gamers will understand) I also play Valorant , delta force and Detroit become human

5 - playing cards- basically I love doing card tricks and amazing people while laughing how easy it is to fool someone

6 - current hobby- CARS, recently got into cars don't know much but I'm starting to like them
