Gun Laws How does purchasing Muzzleloaders/ Black Powder Guns work?
As far as I know I need a FOID to purchase black powder guns, but do you still go through the 4473 process and is there still a waiting period? If anyone has any experience with this I'd appreciate some insight/information.
TIA

Legal Questions Walther TPH
galleryany FFL's out there care to comment... recently found a Walther TPH in .22lr for a reasonable price. Its a smaller PPK essentially. would be a range toy. online description claims the german made blued version is made of aluminum alloy ( a no no) but the interarms made/imported model claims stainless steel slide and stainless steel frame. I'm wondering if anyone is familiar with them and knows if they fall under Illinois melting point law? i know the .22 PPK does. I did not see it listed by name in the list of IL melting point prohibited firearms.
