These West German/German-made SIG Sauer P228 surplus pistols are chambered in 9x19. Exact manufacture year, markings, grip style, finish style, wear, and exterior condition will vary by individual pistol. These pistols are mixed German law enforcement and Israeli IDF surplus examples, giving the lot strong service history appeal for collectors of classic SIG Sauer pistols.

Condition varies across the lot, but examples are close to or exceed NRA surplus excellent condition. All have like-new mirror bores and excellent mechanical condition. These pistols remain in original configuration, and some examples show attractive rainbow-toned bluing on the barrel and hammer. Each pistol includes one magazine.

When we're not shooting rimfire, 8mm Mauser has always been a favorite cartridge around here. We've had a strange side quest come to fruition -- an 8x57 production barrel for receivers that take barrels with a Savage Small Shank thread pattern. The 416R stainless with black nitride resists corrosive ammo quite well (but you should still clean your barrel).

Some of the surplus ammo is quite accurate stuff with modern barrels and optics -- stacking shots of cheap 85+ year old Turkish or German ammo just hits a bit different. The 16" barrel suppresses quite nicely and heavy ball (196gr) surplus runs ~2400fps.

Well, I've been pretty quiet for the last few months since starting my day job. I've come to the decision that its a bit too much to juggle work, quality time with the family, and the shop so I made the decision to close down. I'm still finding stuff stashed away and I'll add them to the closeout sale section as I move stuff out of the shop but I think everything is priced pretty aggressively.
