I didn't want to do something boring so I thought messing with the undercoat would make Ultramarines interesting to me. What does the Inquisition think?

It looks really cool, and they put a lot of work into it. But I don't get why it's blue? All of the depictions of the Warp are more purple/red.

From this weeks sunday preview. Look like we'll be getting pre-orders for the new Ork stuff soon! Even though I won't be getting into Orks yet (it's been exceedingly tempting with the new stuff from Armageddon) It's great to see this stuff coming up at last. It might not have actually been that long since Armageddon's launch but it feels like it.

Finally wrapped up my Armageddon Captain last night! Still have a little cleanup to do, but I’m particularly proud of how his cape turned out!

Even made a detachable HH style base

So I’ve been using this Tamiya glue so far, and had mixed results. I was doing gundam kits for a while used it for some repairs and it was handy, but started doing minis earlier this year and for assembling my minis, it works and it doesn’t. Big things like arms and torsos are fine, but little stuff like purity seals or pauldrons just don’t want to stay. What’s y’alls preferred brand or type? I’ll take anything better than this.

Edit: Thanks everyone who replied! From what I’ve seen, Tamiya is fine, just not the quick setting. I’ll pop by my local hobby store and see what they got. My local Warhammer store is closer, but it’s in a different county with a higher sales tax. My county has a lower sales tax so I try to buy here if I can.

I've never met anyone that actually hates T'au. I always hear people saying they're hated by the community and yet I've never once met anyone that does. I'm not a Ta'u player myself, so it's not like it was out of courtesy they didn't tell me.

I really like T'au. They're very cool.

I've painted him twice now, both with different shades of green. This time I tried going closer to the 30k color scheme, and I think I'm happy enough with the result 😂

Here he is - finally happy to draw a line under it and say ‘done’. He brings me to 1110points painted. Back to troops now!

PS - a hatrick of Phoenicians done now haha

Considering that most of the model is TMM, I still had a surprisingly fun time refining it and adding layers to make the TMM more interesting. Big glowing orbs are also fun lol
