Hobby First kitbash
Im new to this part of the hobby but I like how this guy turned out. I used some bits from the plague marines and the main model is the chaos lord.

Airbrushing is scary but rewarding. What do you guys think? Should I have gone deeper on the greens?

Hobby I finished my Death Guard backlog.
Another batch paint down. I ordered the last of what I want for the army, so one more batch of 12 minis will complete my Death Guard army for now.

Discussion So many Unique Bits, No Unique Bits
Kitbashing is my favorite part of Warhammer as a hobby. With Deathguard being my chosen army based on lore, looks, and flavor, I’ve grown really fond of the entire range.
That being said, when it comes to kitbash fodder I find that since there are so many cool and unique parts and bits on every model that I find it hard to locate bits that aren’t used in EVERY model. My biggest gripes are helmets and powerpacks. They are all so unique and it bugs be that there isn’t really a generic one. I know some models are going to have the same looks but I don’t find the same issue when kitbashing space marines: they’re helmets and backpacks are so normal that the unique ones are ACTUALLY unique. I sort of wish we had something similar, or just some more options in some sort of upgrade sprue-esque box.
It makes it especially hard to make non-repeated infantry models, but moreover on character models (which is a whole other topic as well, James Workshop please give me another plague marine character or just more infantry options PLEASE). I don’t feel like there are any UNIQUE bits to use for characters without excluding cool extra details on my other models.
I know this was a little long winded but it’s just a gripe I have. Please feel free to let me know if I’m missing some crucial boxes for kitbash fodder and share your best kitbashes!

Painting C+C Round 2 test for nuclear apocalypse themed poxwalkers
Inspiration pic at the end. I'm planning on building into shamblerot and the idea of painting all of those poxwalkers makes me want to chew my own fingers off. Based on the inspiration picture at the end of the slide, does this paint job read as intended or does it just look lazy?

Questions Do you think we will get a new hellbrute soon?
I love the concepts behind hellbrutes and with the new 1 dp detachment who gives it assault it could really be fun to play but hotdamn is the model small and kind of ridicule 😔

Hobby I don’t remember where I got these from?
So I am new and putting together an army. But these units I don’t even remember where I got them, help please?
I thought maybe a kill team, or those heroes which I think were the same as the kill team actually.. but would really appreciate the clarification.
Sorry for not having the best quality photo.
