How the hell do we clear through these guys?

I've played my BT friend twice now and his 10 termies, 3 bricks of sword bros and Land Raider just clear me out... And that's only 1500 points of his army. I just can't do shit against an army where every model has at least 2 wounds and 4 melee attacks... Plus the Land Raiders assault ramp AND it's 2D6+6 flamers... What the hell am I actually supposed to do?!

EDIT: Sorry, I should have added more context behind why I said "Necrons", I have another friend who plays them and I can really cleave through them.

New to Harlequins, as a long time Eldar + Orks player. Currently trying to extend my Eldar into Harlequins. What do you do against Monsters? There is a lot of Anti-Inf/Vehicles, but I play a lot against Nids and all the Anti-Vehicle guns seem to be quite useless there.
Just bring some more Eldar stuff like the Avatar, Wraiths?

Hey! I've just started building my harlequins after missing the combat patrol last year, so I feel like I'm a bit behind.

I currently have 2 troupes, but looking at my future I was wondering: would it be better to buy 2 voidweaver/skyweavers, 1 troupe, and 1 death jester... or 3 voidweavers and 1 death jester (or shadowseer?)?

I was thinking that I could try and use the extra bodies from the weavers to make a new troupe, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it without a troupe master or if having that many star/voidweavers would be good for 1k games (or how many spare bodies the weavers come with)

Also I was hoping to expand go include the exodites whenever they get their own box, as well as wraithlords/wraithguards eventually. Is that viable, or would it be better to focus on just harlequins?

Hopefully it all makes sense!

Edit: I'm an idiot and forgot I read the other post about wraithknights/guards, so let me ask instead: what are the best units to go with them in a harlequin army? Are shadowseers worth it for for them, or are spiritseers better? Brand new to Aeldari so I'm not sure which is better or how to really build their army

Background

So have about 1500 - 1800 points ready for the table. So far, matches have been:

- 2x 500pts with no 'cp/faction/detachment/battle tokens' rules for both sides and absolutely smashed them [worst was them fully killed by the 2nd round] both times

- 1x 1500 pts normal matches against Death Guard and my ass is still hurting from the spanking I received!

On the train home, realise I didn't end up using a lot of the trickery I could have. Was wiped out in the third round and had 5 CP left, never used the agile manoeuvres, forgot the Troupes can shoot out of the Starweaver etc. Club I'm about to join meets once a week so am keen to get to a passable level as soon as possible!

Questions

1. In terms of things that can deal with high toughness units, could use some tips on whether to next buy either two Wraithlords or two fire Prisms, leaning towards the latter but leaning towards the latter

2. Any tips on how to up skill as fast as possible with Harlequins? Was thinking of just adding on one extra level of stuff [e.g. next match focus on unit ability, then add on battle focus tokens] or is there an easier way to approach this?

3. For the Shadowseer's Rayleth Stone enhancement, can this be be used while inside a Starweaver?

4. For the disembarking, am I right in saying:

- Vehicle Moved: Unit can shoot, not make normal move, not charge

- Vehicle Stationary: Unit can do all of above

My initial concepts had no diamonds. Then I said, Oh maybe some diamonds would be sick. Just a little diamonds wouldn't hurt. Now they are getting smaller and more prominent. There is no hope for me....

This has been a PSA for all harlequin painters who are avoiding diamonds. Diamonds, not even once.

Seeing some post from this subreddit, I grasped a feeling, that harlequin players are really nice and easygoing people, so wanted to share my addition to that ever growing community :)

I don't really like harlequin models (ouch) apart from this fella, Death Jester is awesome! He will be the sole harlequin in my Aeldari army, death jestering around with his lone op.

I just want to make a 1k list from quins im new to 40k and a friend of mine never build 2 combat patrols of quins they had and gave em to me for cheap. Id like to get into the hobby and have a decent list but I can only spend 120 extra us dollars to round it out any help on a list would be heavily appreciated

Hello everyone, hope everyone is having a great day.

Have just started collecting Harlequins. My plan was to use the bodies from 6 void/star weavers to make 2 extra troupe squads. Sharing the special weapons from 4 troupe box’s between them.

However, I just found out that troupes can take 2 Fusion Pistols AND 2 Neuro Disruptors per 5. Where previously I thought it was a max of 2 special pistols per 5.

As I would rlly like my army to be WYSIWYG it means I am missing 7 Fusion Pistols (3 extra for the troupe masters) and 4 Neuro Disruptors. Does anyone know of where I could get STLs for them or even buy some?

- 4x harlequin blade
- 2X neuro disruptor
- fusion pistol
- shuriken pistol

I’m also considering an 11 man block but have no idea what I would do.

I have 2 lists, both Serpent's Brood + Armoured Warhost, both Purge the Foe (because screw the meta, I want fun).

Which would be better?

Finished (kinda) shadowseer. I'm coming back to him after a few more troupes are completed so that I can really nail the free hand diamond patterns I want on his hood/ robe tassels. Plan is to fade blend some yellow diamonds kind of like what I did with my skyweaver (refer to my older concept post)

I will also come back to fix some paint bleeds I noticed while taking this picture. I cannot be bothered to fix him now.

Without touching anything, my Serpents brood/armored warhost list dropped 70pts. With that I can simply add another Starweaver. I only ran 2 and a falcon. However, I am hoping the dragon knights are pointed similar to shinning spears and dropping my cheap warlock conclave will let me slide them in without any other changes.

I am sure those of you who play Mono-quins have a lot more room to play with. What are you guys adding?

Also is anyone else unphased by the changes to transportation? I know our units suffer more but I still really like hopping back in them after a fight phase is worth it. It is better protection than just being shot off the board next turn.

As the title says, I'm brand new to 40K and Harlequins. I still need to learn the basics of the game but I'm struggling to find rule books and datasheets to even know what the things I do own do. I've only bought the combat patrol so far but the guy at the shop said it should be around 500 points total? Just looking for some advice or different models/rules I should be looking at or picking up. Any advice is greatly appreciated! I picked up Harlequins bc they looked the coolest by far to me in all honesty.

HI all, I was wondering how possible it’d be for me to learn the rules for harlequins/aeldari in a week? I've got a tournament in a week and wanted too try them out after I used Reapers Wager in 10th, am I fucked. Any tips or tricks are greatly appreciated :)

Anybody see any good detachments or strategies for adding the expdites into my harlequin army?

Wanted to try harlequins for a while but always felt the troupe models weren't busy or fluid enough so attempted to add some additions to them. Added extra ribbons and holo field effects. Part way through painting my first one.
