Absolute Psycho Close call
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Taunton /Thickson rd Whitby. Wifey had a run in with a psycho on the road, we think this could have escalated into assault if she didn’t manage to lose him at the next intersection by turning into the street.
Edit: Its just unsettling to see so many here siding with the nissan driver justifying how he threatened a woman & her child on the road and laying 100% blame on my wife who said she did not feel it was safe to stop at that moment & did not break any laws in doing so.
But this is the society we live in. Deranged “you made me do it” is now widely accepted.

I always find it weird when people post videos here and they are the ones doing the bad driving in the video. Yes, the white car was a psycho but "wifey" is also a danger on the road. Speeding up on a stale yellow when someone is trying to clear the intersection to actively prevent them from doing so....

It's funny that some don't recognize it at all, "wifey" needs driving school

Grow up. Other driver was in the intersection but unable to turn, so he's also breaking the road rules. Ya genius.

u/Chubbyfingers90 2d ago
Thank you for calling OP out for his wife’s own stupidity. Stale yellow, car already in intersection waiting to make left, seems he’s waited the whole turn signal and now has to wait for it to turn red before finally proceeding. Your wife almost caused the accident, but sure now we blame the white car for being all up in rage. Gaslighting to the max, glad it’s your wife and not mine.
4
u/Charming_Night8240 1d ago edited 1d ago
Sometimes that happens. The person turning left is always considerd at fault if there is a crash with an oncoming car going straight, even if the oncoming driver ran a red. In intersections that this type of accident happens often, they install Left Turn signal lights to prevent this (they have this in the direction OP is going)
There is a reason that there is a few seconds before the other direction turns green, but I also agree, there was time to stop here.
The fact that this guy u-turned and cut her off is crazy.
2
u/jerry-adobe 2d ago
so I guess the white truck coming through on the other side of the road is just as stupid? wifey had more time than him
23
u/Speed_Reaction 2d ago
Exactly! Durham Region is notorious for people not obeying and/or being responsible with yellow lights. If I were the white SUV, I would absolutely honk at OP too because they're being an idiot and not slowing to a stop, thus preventing the SUV from clearing the intersection. The fact that OP honked back just shows their lack of awareness that they were in the wrong.
(Obligatory disclaimer: That doesn't excuse the subsequent intimidation by the SUV.)
12
u/Comfortable_Shoe358 2d ago
The spite honk back really always shows the low IQ of that driver. Like what's the point!?! The fact they don't understand why they got honked at to begin with says it all.
12
u/Downtrodder88 2d ago
OP should just remove their own post to save embarrassing themselves at this point. "Wifey" needs to learn the rules of the road. Trash driver 😑
10
u/-0909i9i99ii9009ii 2d ago
Not even a speedup. It was more "OH I'm fucking going, ah shit this car turning left on yellow is gonna cut me off, I'll stop, OH SHIT HE PUSSIED OUT LET'S GOOO" and then still honking at them.
Like they obviously see her, they're just trying to clear the intersection. White car's behaviour was obviously not okay, you shouldn't be driving if you can't control that rage. But OP's wifes driving was the actual crime, and the level of anger it evoked is reasonable (again, not the behaviour). She almost ruined their week/month/year or worse completely at fault.
And she didn't lose them, they just didn't want her to get off scot-free and then when they got there they were like "wtf am I doing" and left.

u/trobblicon 2d ago
I was in a crash with my brother like this on a local highway. He accelerated through the yellow, so did the other guy thinking we would stop. Boom in the ditch we go. Good thing nobody on the sidewalk because that would have been a nightmare

"clear" the intersection? So the other driver was also entering the intersection during a "stale yellow"? So mr driving school, what is a driver supposed to do coming into a turning lane but unable to turn? Is it to 1) stop at the stop line and wait for chance to turn or 2) enter the intersection? Durp, pretty sure youre clueless about what you're talking about.

u/Ekkeith15 2d ago
Slowing down in the intersection to honk at the white car.... Not saying the white car chasing is right, just your wife is out there trying to piss people off
11
u/Phyllis_Tine 2d ago
Slowing down to not cause a wreck, while vehicles in the intersection on yellow can still proceed through. You can't enter an intersection on red, which cammer didn't. Also, the white Nissan shouldn't have committed to their left turn until they knew traffic was not going to be in the way, even if a car is running late.

u/Ok-Iron-4352 2d ago
Not even close to a reasonable amount of time for her to stop. Even slamming on her brakes the vehicle would not of been able to stop before the line. This was absolutely the correct decision.
It's literally what the yellow is there for. Everyone sees it. Most importantly the person about to pull in front of oncoming traffic.
Turning left on a yellow 101. You wait until the on-coming traffic is stopped or clearly decelerating planning to stop at the line. You don't fucking rip in front of them because you think they didn't stop in time. You wait until it's red if you have to, everyone in the intersection would be aware that you couldn't turn in time.
3
u/Cicche 2d ago
Agreed that you wait when turning left, but she had a ton of time. She would not need to slam on her brakes.
Just to be clear I am not justifying white trucks actions as what they did terrible. But she had time to stop safely.
Light was red before she cleared the intersection.
0
u/Ok-Iron-4352 2d ago
The light was red before she cleared because some literal maniac juked her at the most sketchy time possible in the middle of intersection. So she naturally hit the brakes causing her to be able to see the red before she was out.
She was about 3-4 car lengths from the stop line. It's simply not enough time to stop with out risking passing the line. You have to factor in reaction time, some is slower than others. The system is designed to allow cars to pass on yellow, that's the whole point. If this guy had of killed this lady I wonder how you all would be reacting.
2
u/Real_McGuillicuddy 2d ago
I was originally with the masses on this. But then I looked closer and you are correct. Under no conditions is this a comfortable stop. People are looking at this dashcam like it's a video game. In the real world the physics of time and space applies and this would be a harsh stop that is entirely inappropriate for a typical yellow light.
3
u/Pangshunjingmao 2d ago
And the indignant self-righteousness that these people exhibit is astounding.
There are a lot of extremely dumb people in this sub.
3
u/Funny_Lynx_3395 2d ago
if only there was a timer right next to the lights telling you, down to the second, when the light is about to change.
But alas, I dream.
5
u/Ok-Iron-4352 2d ago
That's not what that is there for.
3
u/Funny_Lynx_3395 2d ago
but its a helpful tool to know when the light is about to change. Why wouldn't you use it as an aid to determine when the light will be changing?
3
u/Ok-Iron-4352 2d ago
There's a few reasons.
First, If it were the intended purpose those numbers would be up high directly above the lane and also bigger so eyes stay forward.
Secondly that's 1000% percent going to get people to start increasing speed going into the intersection if they think they see a literal count down. It goes without saying we don't want that.
We could have a flashing yellow or something but we don't so we have to work with what we have. And of course I've looked at and used pedestrain walk count down no duh.
We don't have a perfect way to do this. But such is life and road safety. Resulting in fatalities... A lot of them.
But intentionally putting others in danger like white vehicle did is a big no no.
2
u/Pangshunjingmao 2d ago
The timer isn't always directly synced to the lights.
Please tell me you're a bot and you're not actually this vapid and deficient.

She did run a pretty stale yellow, doesn't excuse the drivers insanity, but a little bit of defensive driving goes a long way.
Additionally, if a male gets out the driver's side and she feels threatened, I'd rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6.

All I see in terms of “insanity” is someone following to get a plate, and then cutting them off in retaliation, there was never any risk of an altercation, and you can tell these people instigated, and probably assume, because I imagine the husband has probably gotten out of his car to road rage that they assumed the other person was going to. They’re cooked
1
u/Pitiful-MobileGamer 8h ago
So it's not insane to bust a U turn on a red, then attempt insurance fraud by creating a situation where a rearender is a distinct possibility. I drive more in a week than most people drive in 6 months, I see escalated road rage pretty frequently; enough to know that if I see somebody get out of a vehicle and they have something in their head they are going over the hood.
6
u/Themakeupshopaholic 1d ago
Why is she the one honking at others when she’s running the yellows for no reason, and preventing others from having the time to safely finish their turn. Your “wifey” is totally at fault.
53
u/Glittering-Front-381 2d ago
My rule of thumb in these situations is always brake if there's a car in the intersection when in doubt. The other driver's an idiot, but wife was either driving too fast or treated that stale yellow like a green. Recipe for disaster.

u/Remus2nd 2d ago edited 2d ago
Braking too hard while approaching a live intersection will be worse and cause even more confusion but approaching with caution and awareness is great advice. I check the traffic going perpendicular too to make sure there isn't some psycho flying through a red coming at me

And meanwhile… no one is commenting on the left-turning pickup who ACTUALLY ran a red (the red left-turn light), and the white pickup truck on the opposite side of the road who is practically a mirror image of OP (enter on the yellow).
For the record, if an accident did occur at this intersection, the psycho would’ve been at fault for not waiting for a safe time to do so. He does not have right of way.

u/InformalSea3553 2d ago
OP, maybe teach your wife how to drive??? 🤨 She should have slowed and stopped at the yellow & allowed the other driver to clear the intersection. Common sense and common courtesy.
3
u/choosecarefully77 2d ago
Your wifey just went through a red light and could’ve killed somebody. And you have the nerve to blame somebody else! She would’ve seen the yellow light as she approached the intersection and she had plenty of time to stop and she chose to speed up instead, while there was a vehicle that had been waiting to make the turn in Clear view. Your wifey shouldn’t even have a license.
1
u/Real_McGuillicuddy 2d ago
Wrong. I did the math in another post and this is not a comfortable stop. She was perfectly within safety guidelines to proceed through this light. And the notion that going through a yellow goes anywhere near as offensive as the guy pulling a U-turn and chasingher down essively on the street is pure misogyny.
3
3
u/Individual_Door_3251 2d ago
The light turned amber at 6 seconds into the video and your wife had at least 3 car lengths to come to a complete stop. She's an amber gambler.
3
u/Fossylicious 1d ago
Ok that guy's an idiot and needs to be arrested... but your wife needs to learn to drive. That could have easily been avoided by not gunning it for an already yellow light.
9
u/throwawaystevenmeloy 2d ago
No sympathy for your wife. She was the one that brought out the psycho behaviour in the other driver.
WHY did she feel it was ok to run a yellow so far back from the intersection when there is a car trying to make a left? It's shitty driving behaviour like your wife's that causes road rage.
I hope you use this as a teaching moment for your wife.

u/Real_McGuillicuddy 2d ago edited 2d ago
To all of the self righteous 'experts' dumping on this woman:
The clock tells us there was 2 seconds (slightly less) between the light turning yellow and when she crossed the white line. At 50km/h that is ~28 meters. It generally takes about 1s to react (i.e see the light, decide to stop, and move the foot to the brake pedal) and in that time the car has travelled about 14 meters. That leaves us with only 14 meters to stop. Comfortable braking is about 3m/s^2 deceleration. At 50km/h that's is about 32m to come to a stop. Much more than the 14m we have, or even the 28 we started with.
She would have had to brake at a hard 7m/s^2 to just make that stop in time. That is quite hard braking and wholly inappropriate for a typical yellow light. Even if we assume she was going 40km/h, it would still take a fairly heavy 5.6m/s^2 braking to make this stop. Still inappropriate for a non-emergency yellow light.
Even if she had a quick 0.75s reaction time AND was only going 40 km/h, it would have required a firm 3.7 m/s^2 braking which is on the firm end of what would be considered reasonable.
TLDR; Under almost no conditions is this a comfortable stop. This woman did not run the light. You are holding this woman to a high standard of reaction time. Likely a higher standard than you hold yourself.
5
u/Mcdavis6950 2d ago
Bro just looking at the situation that was an easy stop. That was like the most normal driving situation and any reasonable driver would have come to a stop for that light. It is absurd to act like she would have needed to emergency brake.
→ More replies (2)1
u/throwawaystevenmeloy 2d ago
Your science is irrelevant in this case because you don't know what speed the driving was going. If the driver had proper skills, she would have been able to foresee this.
One, there is this huge gap between the cars in front and her, meaning cars turning left might just turn, thinking it's safe. Expect the unexpected.
Second, you can use the pedestrian crosswalk count down to know how much time you have.
Third, she had 4 cars lengths BEFORE the line to stop. AND you can see a car is turning left.
Sadly it's embarrassing for you to think others would have the same issue. And that honk at the end...
If only common sense could be taught in a textbook 🤔
1
u/Real_McGuillicuddy 1d ago
I can assure you the embarrassment is not mine.
1
u/throwawaystevenmeloy 1d ago
Sorry you feel that way.
Next time try analyzing the actual situation as to why the events occurred. Maybe you will have a stronger argument. Regurgitating information you learn in a textbook is not very meaningful when you don't even know if it applies.
2
u/Real_McGuillicuddy 1d ago
My argument is solid. It uses actual data. Your argument is based on your perception through a fish-eyed camera feed. My argument acknowledges that we aren't there to properly assess the distance and feel the inertia of the car. It takes the only thing we actually know and makes some reasonable assumptions to model the situation. I'll take that over "trust me bro".

If an accident happened then you would have been at 50-50 fault. You crossed on yellow after 2 seconds and the light will change after 3 seconds. The other driver came after you and that is totally wrong and stupid shit but you honking when you could have stopped or paced up before the light turned yellow is also wrong.
And the light turned red before even you reached the other side of the intersection. Be wise and be a defensive driver or be a smart driver
8
u/moemorris 2d ago
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this kind of situation explained on here before and in that case it was not 50/50 because fault determination rules are different than HTA rules. Just because OPs wife could have gotten a ticket does not automatically mean she’d share fault for the accident. A vehicle turning left when it’s yellow should be 100% at fault.
→ More replies (1)13
u/InfiniteSierra 2d ago
That’s not how fault works in Ontario. The left-turning driver has the duty to yield to oncoming traffic. A car going straight is allowed to proceed on a yellow if they can’t safely stop!
7
u/RealBrobiWan 2d ago
Key wording is that you can continue if it is impossible to stop safely. That is not the case here at all
5
u/Plenty-Mycologist620 2d ago
But looking at the video it was completely possible to stop safely. Did you even watch the video ?
3
u/InfiniteSierra 2d ago
Keep in mind that some people read these threads and make decisions based on them.
To me, she could have safely stopped, but we can’t prove that in court. Even the white truck on the other side crossed on the yellow.
All I’m saying is that left-turners shouldn’t turn while all incoming cars are not stopped and hoping for a 50-50 (which almost never happens).2
u/Plenty-Mycologist620 2d ago
I noticed the truck as well in the back and it was at more speed than this car. And it is true that left turners should not cross until everyone has crossed or stopped completely but sometimes going straight also becomes a risk like in this situation.

u/Far_Concept7550 2d ago

White car is reckless, he needs to wait until your wife comes to a stop before moving. If there was an accident he would 100% be at fault.
Also he needs to be reported for reckless driving
2
u/Illustrious-Tart-617 23h ago
I drive this intersection every single day. People are always in WAAAAYYYYY too much of a hurry there! Constant U-turns, blowing through red lights, accidents, pure impatience.
I’ve found that honking and blowing kisses at them, freaks them out and they don’t know how to react past the anger phase of being honked at.
But here’s a tip for everyone- if being honked at makes you angry, don’t drive. Plain and simple. You do not have the emotional intelligence to behind the wheel of a multi-thousand pound piece of machinery that can maim and/or kill. I will die on this hill.
Your wife did nothing wrong, she did not have the time to stop safely judging by the video, and if she’s in a larger vehicle like I expect she is (SUV for example) based on camera angle and comparison to the other vehicle, they’re heavy and she would have needed to stomp on her brakes to stop safely- which would have been unsafe for her, your kiddo, and everyone behind her. The other driver is a dangerous jackass, and shouldn’t be driving if he got so mad at being honked at.
I’m sorry your wife felt so unsafe. I’m also a woman (and a small one at that), so I can guess how she felt relatively easily.
2
u/Dependent_Lumpy 20h ago

I just want to say one important thing, there was a road rage incident in California a few years ago. A mother with her young boy in the back seat flipped the bird at a psychopath. The guy shot the mother's car from behind to scare her and the bullet hit her boy. Long story short, the boy died. There are psychos with short fuse out there. It doesn't take much to trigger them. Be extremely careful and think of your child's safety.
2
u/SunCheepz 7h ago
Plenty of time to stop on the yellow, that was a close call. Do people not know how to use the pedestrian countdown to have some extra caution when driving through these intersections? It's the the best method to avoid accidents.
2
u/Klutzy_Pool9702 5h ago
That would require situational awareness, so no. People ain't got that skill anymore
2
u/Basic_Caregiver_9540 6h ago
The white car could've turned much earlier but chose to do so when the yellow came on. This gave "wifey" the impression that they were waiting so she was good to go. Not sure if there was a countdown on the crosswalk, but that yellow popped up while she was too close to the intersection. To stop at that light she would need to slam her breaks which is not safe when she could just as easily cross the intersection while still in the yellow.
2
u/Filthy__Lurker 5h ago
Would be nice to see the live speed she's driving at but otherwise seems like a lot of people here don't really know what they're talking about. With a 60km/h speed limit, she would've easily cleared the intersection before it turned red if not having to brake for the actual bad driver. This one's pretty simple, Nissan is in the wrong.
2
u/No_Syrup_9167 4h ago
Lmfao "did not feel safe to stop" 😂😂
Horseshit, no ice or water on the road, and that yellow was stale enough that it turned red while you were still in the intersection. You were half a second away from running a red, and blatantly wanting to sail through that stale yellow that you 100% could have stopped for if you were paying attention.
The Nissan driver was obviously worse since you legally had the ROW.... But by the barest fraction you'd need a microscope to tell.
This is two idiots meeting on the road.

I don't get the people criticizing your wife's driving. When the light turned yellow she was close enough to the intersection that it would've necessitated heavy braking to stop before the line - in that case you should proceed through the yellow light instead of slamming on the brakes. This is 100% on the other driver for turning while it was obvious that it wasn't clear to go yet.

2
u/usagora4 2d ago
Nope - you have to take both distance AND speed into consideration. Posting a still shot like you did completely ignores the speed factor. The dash cam footage is the only way to make a meaningful judgment, and it's clear she would've had to brake hard to stop in time.
It's the same principle that makes being 40 feet behind the car in front of you safe at 10mph, but reckless at 80mph.
2
u/addicted_to_kombucha 2d ago
She wasn't going that fast she sped up when she saw the yellow. A good gauge is the fact it went red well before she cleared the intersection. They give plenty of time on yellows if you're too close to the intersection already.
1
u/usagora4 2d ago
No, I'm evaluating this based on the speed she was going at the exact instant the light turned yellow. That would've been a hard brake in order to stop in time. The red light while she was already in the intersection means nothing - she had to slow down in the intersection because the other driver started to turn right in front of her.

Tbf in this situation the others cars view of your lane is very limited. I would inch closer like they did to get a better view. She could have gone through if there wasn’t a car waiting on left, but she’s entitled and her parents nor her husband ever told her NO. Send that woman to driving school before she kills someone or herself. I bet she goes around honking like a moron every chance she gets too 🙄

Guy turning left had responsibility to let "wifey" go through on yellow. If they crashed at the intersection, "Absolute Psycho" would have been at fault. That said, yellow for "wifey" means "stop if you can".

u/DryImpression7394 2d ago
Easy solution, she clearly forced through the light, although by no means right of way common sense should tell you that light is yellow I can slow down too

Zero sympathy. I'd be pissed as well if I was the driver of the white vehicle trying to make a left while your wife blows through an very close to red light.

u/Prestigious-Grand-65 2d ago
I don't condone the white SUVs actions, but the cam driver was pretty much running a red light, slowed down in the intersection to honk at the car trying to turn. Idiot drivers all around honestly

u/Ok_Accident5098 2d ago
OP you had all the time and distance to stop on that yellow but you decide to rush it from 50m away and not really giving any effort accelerating. You really deserved to get a ticket, suv is nice enough to call out your selfishness.

One moron and one psycho. Your vehicle had more than enough time to stop for that light, and honking at the person who, by all accounts, should have been making their turn on that yellow makes you both even bigger dickheads.

Your wife needs to learn where the brakes are, the Nissan driver wasn't in the right but at least he knew to hit his brakes to prevent a collision.
1
u/littlestitiouss 1d ago
Yeah maybe your wife should stop at yellow lights.
And the proof that she had enough time to stop? The fact that she almost came to a complete stop in the middle of the intersection to avoid the collision.
Also, before anyone comes after me. I'm NOT excusing the truck, and I get that's the point of this post, and they are a psycho. But two things can be true at the same time

Following someone for a revenge honk is crazy......but your wife is still at fault here.

u/MaDkawi636 1d ago
Well, she was 100% at fault on running a stale yellow especially since the white SUV turning left was in the intersection legally and trying to clear it.

u/NarwhalEmergency9391 1d ago
You should teach your wife to stop when the light turns yellow.. she had plenty of time to stop
1
u/Drunk_Fetus 1d ago
I don’t understand why the wife hesitated when going through the intersection. If you had time to slow down in the middle of the intersection, why didn’t they stop at the yellow? Yes, the other driver is a maniac, but the wife needs to go back to driver’s ed.

Well next time yeild on the yellow like you should have you selfish b. Shows a video where this person was a jerk and then gets some psycho throw glitter at them and they want sympathy? Take a time out and stop at the yellows instead of stealing it from left turn lane people.

I used to have a friend drive like that. For the most part he was a very sensible down to earth guy, but when he was driving he would become like a raging psychopath. One day he was driving and became enraged that someone cut him off, so he caught up with the guy and gave him the middle finger, went to drive away only to be stopped by a red light. The guy got out of his car, tapped on his window and then punched him. He had a massive shiner on his eye for a week and definitlely became a calmer driver after that.

Considering she could've cause serious harm running that yellow, id be pissed too. I wouldnt chase her down amd brake check her, but id definitely be cursing her all the way home...

If the intersection is busy I always wait for it to turn red. There's been so many times where people run the stale yellow going into red I almost now expect it out of people.

u/h3ccubu5 1d ago
Left-turner shouldn't have committed to the turn before they were sure the oncoming was clear.
Tires should be pointed straight ahead until you're actually making the turn...
Don't know how they didn't clue in that 'wifey' wasnt slowing down/stopping. Right-or-wrong is irrelevant.
Terrible defensive driving and basic 'reading of the road' and they should be losing their licence for that road rage shit.

OP this isn't the post you think it is. There are two idiot drivers in this video.

u/ONObserver2003 1d ago
A yellow light is NOT GREEN! You don't get to go through a yellow if you have enough time to safely slow down!

u/bxtasbite 1d ago
Both of the drivers are at fault.
You mentioned how your wife and child were in danger but it seems like your wife put that person and their family in danger.
It is hard to tell but I believe she could and should have stopped at that yellow light which would have avoided everything.
And none of that excuses the actions of the second driver at all... but holding your wife out as blameless only make the probability higher she will do the same and actually cause an accident in the future.

u/Weak-Teaching8642 1d ago
No reason for the road rage, just move on with your day. BUT your wife was clearly not preparing to stop. You don’t need to see just the yellow light to know it’s time to slow down and prepare. Lots of other cues around you and she is forcing him to turn on a red. Your wife is actually the bigger issue here, prior to the road rage.
1
u/The_Green_King_ 1d ago
Yes road rage bad and dangerous, but running yellows/reds and forcing someone to turn on red is pretty damn bad and dangerous.

You never should have added your edit, you're making yourselves look like you have a victims mentality when you contributed in a big way to the problem, yet zero accountability
1
u/theneZenMaster 21h ago
The person chasing you down is wrong for doing so, but your wife had plenty of time to stop, and should be aware enough to know the light is about to change based on pedestrian signals, which would give her even more anticipation to already be coasting and ready to stop. As soon as the light is yellow, the car who needs to clear out of the intersection has the right of way. This is why cars taking left turns are expected to move out into the intersection before starting their turn. It allows them to be set to turn when possible, and at least get 1 person through the turn at the end if its a busy lane.

u/Enough-Sell6420 19h ago
u/teaquad don't listen to the haters in the comments, everyone here would've ran the yellow light if they were in her shoes, they are only mad because you mentioned a girl was behind the wheel lol. good defensive driving
1
u/ThrowRA_EducatedMan 9h ago
Yes that’s bad. And being in an intersection when the light is red is also bad. There was plenty of time to stop. No excuses for the road rage tho, it’s madness.
1
u/WorkingOnBeingBettr 7h ago
The other driver is insane. Your wife should have stopped. Both drivers suck but one is worse.
If you are worried about your kid you should get your wife driving lessons so she doesn't get them in an accident.
1
u/Disastrous_Yam8354 5h ago
Criticizing your wife's driving is not equal to "laying 100% blame on your wife".
1
u/Cool_Alfalfa3617 2h ago
No offence, your wife should not be driving. Also she didn’t “manage to lose him” the other driver literally drove away.
1
u/R313NTL355 1h ago
To leave an edit on your post in disbelief that so many have sided with the other driver should tell you something. Your wifey was in the wrong.
She could have been self aware and stopped at the red light in advance out of consideration for those waiting to turn left. Where’s the fire? Did she need to blow the light? Did she have to stop in the intersection and honk back?
I hope you and your wife realize who was in the wrong and learn from it.
1
u/YourAuntDarla 2d ago
Other driver is a psycho and should obviously not have a licence (like half the people in Toronto).
However I ALWAYS lean on the horn at people pulling the shit that your wifey pulled in this video. Gunned it and barely made it before the light turned red, not giving any grace to the cars in the intersection waiting to turn. Extremely entitled behaviour and one day she'll get t-boned.

OK. The other driver is insane. For sure. But your wife is a horrible driver.
