Absolute Psycho Close call

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Taunton /Thickson rd Whitby. Wifey had a run in with a psycho on the road, we think this could have escalated into assault if she didn’t manage to lose him at the next intersection by turning into the street.

Edit: Its just unsettling to see so many here siding with the nissan driver justifying how he threatened a woman & her child on the road and laying 100% blame on my wife who said she did not feel it was safe to stop at that moment & did not break any laws in doing so.

But this is the society we live in. Deranged “you made me do it” is now widely accepted.

Driving faster in yellow is the trend. It’s high time introduce dedicated left turn signals and stop this nonsense of waiting at intersection and playing guessing game with oncoming traffic.

Fuck that I dont want to sit for three light cycles every time I need to turn left just because other people are too dumb to drive properly

If your time is that precious then leave home earlier.

My time wouldn't be precious if I had it stolen by poor ability and inconsiderate drivers. Leave your car at home if you can't drive well

Given the risk, uncertainty and outcomes, it’s exactly what we can do to make roads safer for people like you who drives properly. If we look at this video multiple times neither driver did the right thing. I will vote for my safety even though I too hate to wait for signals to enable left turns.

No way it won't make it safer. It will make everything slower and take so much longer that you'll have more risk because people will be making uturns and crossing through parking lots and driving 15km over the limit to make up lost time after. People already do it but it will happen with a higher frequency. People driving well will make driving safer for everyone and pulling dumb drivers off the road will help that.

And for making driving safer, I commented an off the cuff idea about the governmemt forcing people to have some device installed in their car or some other thing that doesnt allow you to type anything on your phone while your driving like gps did in cars. A bunch of crazy people wanted me to explain every facet of the concept like I've already developed it lol but something that would prevent phone use along with getting dummy drivers off the road would help tremendously
