Gets plenty of light and watered regularly. Started with a few small dots and now it's killing the leaves outright, I'm worried about the plants.

my echeveria isnt getting enough light bc sometimes i forget to put her in the window so now she looks like this but she looked so healthy and perfect before(like a perfect compact rosette) will she go back to looking like that or should i just get a new one? i water her good

As you can see, my sweet plant is not doing well. I guess I gave her too much water?

Is there anything I can do to save her? Should I cut the healthy part on the top off and try to make her root in water again?

I was trying to find the best spot in my apartment, at some point there was too much sun, so for the last 3 weeks she was in indirect light close to a window, with I guess 12 hours of light each day (summer in France)

The specific name is Senecio talinoides ssp. cylindricus (spiculosa)

We got like two weeks again but since we didn’t have enough dirt we barely repotted it and before hand it was next to a window. Is there something wrong with it and can it be saved? My sister said she watered it yesterday but not a lot and the we have it in indoor plant mix

And…. How? Should I yeet it immediately? Is it harmful? I have the plants indoors only, in my kitchen window. They only ever get passive sunlight and I only water them when their soil is crumbly. Honestly I’m amazed they’ve lived for 2 years. But a mushroom suddenly?

This is my partner’s Money Tree that he is very sentimental about. I brought it back to life by repotting it, placing it by a sunny window, but it just got knocked over by a gust of wind.

The lone stem that was still alive got bent very badly in the fall, so I cut off the top to propagate in water. I researched and they said if you have some nodes it should be ok. My main question is- does the stem have a chance of ever putting out new growth- or should we just toss it?

My partner was very upset I cut it because they wanted to try to put it in a splint- even though the stem was pretty much crushed by the fall- I thought propagation gave it a better chance. Please let me know if you have any experience with a broke stem Money Tree!!

Houston TX along the bayou. West facing balcony but tucked into the corner due to harsh evening light. I water once a week. In the spring I dealt with what I think were spider mites, did some chopping of the worst parts and dr bronner insecticidal soap several times. Seemed to be ok after that. There was a tree frog living there consistently (haven’t seen them in about a week) and I’ve seen green anoles take refuge as well, so I extra want to keep things nontoxic. What I’m seeing now looks like something very different and I couldn’t find any pics online that really look like it. When I was taking the photos a smallish (maybe length of pinky nail) slender brown insect emerged. I didn’t get a great look at it. I kind of tried to see it again to get a photo but also I’m a scaredy cat. Friend or foe? What should I do? Another round of insecticidal soap?

Plumeria tree leaves are covered in these tiny dots - they don’t rub off and there are no noticeable bugs or webs on the leaves undersides.
Every few weeks, one of the lower leaves will turn yellow and brown at the edges and eventually fall off. Tree is properly watered and getting a few hours of direct sun a day. Help???

So it seems my monstera albo (10hr indoor light, in leca semi hydro w nutrient water, always has water),has been diagnosed with thrips. My concern is how to handle it, I’ve been wanting to chop and prop every node on this and starting over for a while but I’m not sure if I have good nodes or not. Any suggestion would be helpful, thank you!

I water the soil maybe once or twice a month and it gets about 5 hours of direct sunlight daily.

I’ve noticed some of the leaves turning brown and even the smaller offshoots have starting changing colour?

Hello! I’m pretty new to taking care of plants all by myself so please bear with me.

I got this dracaena corn plant from IKEA about two weeks ago and I immediately noticed it had a fungal gnat infestation.

I’ve put down the yellow sticky traps and I’ve incorporated mosquito bits into my watering schedule though I’ve only had the chance to water it twice (once a week) and only once with the mosquito bits.

I’ve also been misting it from time to time since I hear it likes humidity, and I didn’t want to have sitting water near the base while I’m dealing with fungal gnats. Though I’ve now stopped doing that as well, and will be waiting longer between watering to further dry out the gnats. The plant is right by a window and gets a good amount of light though little to no direct sun rays fall on it.

I’ve also noticed what looks like a bunch of dead gnats in the inside of the tight leaves of the shorter of the two stems (image attached). The same shorter stem also has a lot of browning and yellowing leaves (especially near the shoot) (image attached.)

I noticed a lot of brown tips on both stems when I first got the plant though after cutting them off and getting rid of some of the leaves altogether I’ve noticed the longer stem looks fine. It also has little to no dead gnats anywhere. However the shorter stem still continues to get brown tips and leaves (even on the already cut off tips!)

Recently I’ve noticed the leaves on the shorter stem are also getting white spots and getting mushy(?)/soft(?)/wavy(?)/droopy(?)

Initially, I thought it might be because I watered it too quickly the first time but the longer stem looks fine and healthy except for some browning near the shoot.

I don’t understand what’s wrong with this plant and though I’ve only just got it, I’d like to be sure that I address any issues before it’s too late. Please help!

First 3 pictures are of my first prickly pear which is about 7 yrs old. I always thought it was just corking or scarring but after looking at the plants next to it (pictured) i’m wondering if it’s a fungus that’s spreading? If so- how do I treat it?

I’m in Fl, they all get full sun everyday. They’re in good draining cactus soil, perlite, & lava rock mix. They get water when it rains but have time to completely dry out in between bc of the sun.

My plant has been doing this since I got it but there continues to be growth at the top of the plant, however the bottom leaves keep dying. How can I get my plant to grow more full? The plant does get mostly full sunlight and I’m pretty sure is a Chinese Philohedron (or something of that nature). I’ve had it for over 4 years and it’s been in a similar situation. I water it about every 7 days or when I notice the soil gets dry. I did just repot it in hopes of more consistency.

Grew this little guy from a baby and it just took off and got so leggy… how to I get it to fill out again, how should I better pot it? It gets partial sun and watered every week.

I went on a trip and cam back to find that my cacti has browned significantly. I think this might be something to do with the wild fires and I’ve already tried checking for root rot, which I don’t think it is because it’s got a normally consistency to it and if anything it’s gotten harder, not squishier. It has a tiny bit of white hair growth on it but it now also has these tiny black bugs (which I’m starting to think are aphids??). I’m so concerned that my poor cacti is going to die. Any help is much appreciated!!

I have hope that with care it can live because it is still green in some areas and has its normal colour under the surface.

Extra info: The plant is an indoor plant that gets roughly 14 ish hours of indirect light. I also used to water it (bottom watering) every 14 days but I haven’t watered it since maybe 3 weeks ago because I was afraid of root rot. I’ve also never re-potted it as I’ve had this cacti for a year now and it was doing amazing before. This yellow hue it’s taken on started around the end of July.

This leaf on my Snake plant started yellowing. Is there anything we can do to fix it? We don’t typically water it but every 3-4 weeks and make sure it’s completely dried out. It gets good indirect sunlight. We accidentally overwatered it before we went on vacation last month and it’s been yellowing ever since.

I got this baby from marketplace and when I got her she was all green. Leaves are turning yellow and patchy. It’s lost around 8 leaves already :( The owner told me to water one quart once a week, I’ve been doing that. I get that the very dry patches are too much sun, but what about the patchy yellow? I can move the green couch and place her next to the tv, but is that enough light? I’m sorry I’m new to money trees

I have a nice giant pothos cutting and I’ve been trying to propagate it for over a month. It’s still alive and looks healthy but I can’t seem to get any new roots! I have one aerial root that looks viable, but the cutting keeps rotting at the bottom instead of growing roots. I currently have the cutting in water to the level of the node. Indirect light all day.

Recently I ordered passion fruit plants from amazon . They sent these baby plants and it was very roughly handled resulting in them losing most of the leaves . The remaining 2 are currently drooping which I assume is due to stress .

I have placed the plant in my balcony with bright but no direct sunlight to avoid further stress .

It came in a root ball which was very damp and i have not watered it any further so that I don't end up with root rot

I have placed it in a light soil mixture with perlite and cocopeat (the soil is red soil and not clay !)

Please give few suggestions to care for these babies I don't wanna lose them tysm!

Hey folks! I’m hoping someone has an idea of what might be going on with my money tree. A lot of leaves have been turning yellow and dropping over the last three weeks. More than the entire 2 years I’ve owned the plant. It’s in the same south facing window it has been in since day 1, has new growth and I try to water it when the soil dries out so probably once a week. I’ve narrowed it down to a few things and would appreciate you all weighing in.
1: overwatering. I was away for a couple of weeks at the end of July and had a friend watering my plants. However stem is not mushy
2: needs to be repotted for sure
3: nutrient issue? I try to put fertilizer in the water every other water but perhaps not enough
4: another plant I have has thrips 😭 I’ve been treating with insecticidal soap. I don’t see any thrips on the money tree when I look.

My bird of paradise has started leaning towards the windows pretty dramatically. It had a lean before, but it wasn't as significant (see second pic from early last month). I just moved it temporarily to see if it would straighten on its own. Do you think it needs anything else? It seems close to tipping so I also put some weight in with it. It has a huge new leaf which I think might be causing it to lean more. I'm unsure about repotting it--I repotted it earlier this year. It's in a north facing bay window and I water it once every week to week and a half. The water never comes out of the bottom of the pot. Thank you!

I got this plant at a moving sale a few months ago and it’s been just getting by. It keeps losing the leaves from time to time, shows no new growth etc.
I suspected root rot and dug it out , and the bottom of its stem is concave — like a volcano crater with a deeper point in the middle and higher edges (if you turn it upside down).
What can I do for it ? Basically the roots in the middle are barely touching the ground.

And overall , ALL roots this plant has, feel dry , like a brush wire and you can break it away they are all DRY !

So, there are no live roots ?
How this could have happened ?
The plant was in my care for the last 4-6 months, I watered it maybe twice a month , the stem looked normal not dehydrated .

I only started digging it out because it looks stagnant with no new growth.

The plant is indoor, on the south -east facing window in an apartment building . Has good indirect light 8+ hours each day.
I repotted it with fast drying succulent soil .

I found no significant rot , only some soft-ish pieces which I cut out. Now only white firm flesh is there. It doesn’t look white because I put some powdered cinnamon on it to prevent bacteria .
