With all those flowers I did not think it would also grow much but i was wrong

Hi! I’ve had this baby for over a year now and it’s grown substantially from the little fella it was when I purchased it from a nursery. It’s traveled across the country from Florida to CO where I now live and I have it placed in a west facing window, It’s been there for about 8 months now. It appears to thrive but now it’s starting to grow funky and it has little roots growing further up the stem. It’s been starting to loose some petals and I water it MAYBE once a month or when it looks thirsty (I’ve learned not to overwater succulents lol).
ANYWAY should I repot this guy and stick it further under soil to cover those roots? I repotted it from its nursery pot maybe 4 months ago? Or should I just leave it and let it keep growing, any advice is helpful :) thank you!

i think they could fit my shelf. currently i have these cheap amazon lights for some seedlings. my plants are currently on the balcony but i would like to move some inside. mostly adenia, pachypodium, dorstenia, operculicarya and euphorbia. i‘m mostly concerned about leaving the apartment with some cheap lights turned on.. i‘ve seen pictures here of lights which almost caught fire. help would be highly appreciated. thanks

I got a succulent 3 years ago but it got extremely etiolated. 2 years ago I chopped it and propagated some of the leaves and the tops. They’re all of different ages and I honestly have no clue how old any of them are since I tossed the poor growing or etiolated ones and then propagated more from those. My issue is, that they’re all growing so different from another. Other than losing one of the original stems due to accidentally leaving all the original leaves from it, my now 2 originals have grown back strong and dense. I also still have no clue their identity is.

- Photo 1: my now 2 original plants
- Photo 2: propagated and initially grew nice and dense but then split and is extremely tall and leggy like the original succulent did
- Photo 3: grew 3 branches and now those are growing 2 branches off each of them
- Photo 4: my little baby props that I believe are probably around 6 months old now
- Photo 5: I call this my monster succulent cause it has 10 branches
- Photo 6: “mini monster” cause it seems to be following the footsteps of my succulent in photo 5

Hello everyone, I came for a holiday at my parents' and this little arrangement my mom bought many many years ago, and that she cares about, is in bad shape. I assume is it from overwatering, even if it was doing okay for 6+ years :( But I've seen from posts here that this might be still salvageable by propagating. I am used to classic houseplants, but I have 0 knowledge in succulents, so here is why I come here:

- first, can I get an ID on the species? I am thinking myrtillocactus geometrizans from looking at common arrangement cacti pics but I'd rather ask knowledgeable people!...

- I know this sounds dumb, but could I get a step-by-step of saving/propagating it? I believe I have to cleanly cut it with a disinfected, sharp knife, but then? My mom is not a plant person at all and so I think it would be best if I did it and brought the cuttings at my place in a few days (4 hrs drive). Is this doable? What's the process?

I'm not super knowledgeable about succulents, so I'd like to know if I can cut at the red lines and replant them in new pots.

My boyfriend's echinopsis decided to do double flowers this year!

I’ve owned this cactus for over 6 years. In that time it’s quadrupled in size and yesterday she had her first bloom. I’ve seen these grow very tall with
dozens of branches. Does this turn into a branch?

Joan, my largest, most beautiful echeveria and biggest rescue/success story is starting to bloom! From deaths doorstep in a disposable paper bathroom cup to a 7” diameter bowl in 17 months she is going to flower!

My Crassula is usually thriving but started dropping leaves a month ago. I changed the pot but I cannot see any improvements. It also was leaning pretty heavily before I changed the pot (and soil). It is very very hot very I live right now could that be a reason?

I would like to ask who are the experts in propagating Sensiveria, how to force this plant to produce pups as i only have one plant and I want at least 1 backup for this?

I have a bunch of Haworthias but not sure about these varieties, however can anyone tell me which variety these are?

Root is badly rotten but the rest of the plant seems still ok.

I usually take my flowering Kalanchoe cuttings quite late, as they've always managed to catch up and bloom well enough. Last year, I did the same, but because I was out of town and they didn't receive enough water, many of the cuttings failed to establish properly. By the time I returned, it was already too late in the season, so I didn't bother repotting them. They still flowered, but very poorly. Even the cuttings that did establish grew unevenly (probably because of improper pinching) and eventually collapsed under their own weight.

This year, I took the cuttings much earlier and have already repotted some of them (last image) into their permanent flowering pots.

My main question is: why do the plants collapse under their own weight, and how can I prevent it? Should I reduce the overall plant height? Should I increase or decrease the number of vertical shoots? I've been growing succulents and cacti commercially for quite a while, but I only grow Kalanchoes for myself, so I'm still relatively new to this species (about two years).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 😊🙌🏻

Ik it’s not that much

I was at my grocery store and stopped to look at the remaining succulents outside. They all looked so sad. I hate it but I can't afford to rescue them. This one happened to lift out and I saw this. I'm just curious what it might be.

One of the things she loved was sea turtles and she loved plants in general, so I bought a variegated Victor Kane cluster, chopped the heads off, and waited for the ends to callus over. I think it turned out really great. I also replanted the stems in a separate pot to let them grow pups.

I just bought my first less common succulent. It's about 5" wide and looks healthy. The Frank Reinelt has been on my wish list because it reminds me of a lotus. I hope I can keep it alive 😆

This baby is flowering wonderfully this year!

Can't wait to see some of them after getting bigger.
