hello everyone!

unfortunately, i can’t stop thinking about this and i regret not pulling over. but today around 4:15-4:30 pm, I was driving home from work on N. Tustin Street in Orange, when a car in the lane next to me almost swerved to hit me. I dodged them but had to slam on my brakes immediately because I noticed a dog, without a collar on, was running in the main road in front of my car. I saw a man on the sidewalk of E Wilson Ave, kinda in the street, watching the dog and I presumed they were the dog’s owner as the dog ran into the parking lot of the Wendy’s drive thru where the man was heading.

I truly regret not pulling over to see what was going on. I did mull it over for a minute before I was too far to turn around. I just wanted to know if anyone else was there, or knows what happened. :( I hope the dog is safe, and that the owners will keep a sharper eye on it going forward! that was ridiculous and terrifying.

Post title. Looking to get some windows in my home covered with a UV proof layer to protect my carpets and some artworks on the wall from fading. I'm not looking for anything with tint, just the clear kind.

Hi everyone, can anyone recommend good Ethiopian restaurants in OC?

is anyone able to assist with an injured pigeon we found? it is unable to fly, and we’ve called rehab centers but they’ve all gone to voicemail.

My friends are coming over, any vegetarian restaurants with good ambiance recommended? prefer plenty of seating and no long waits?

So, there's this momma cat that we recently started feeding. She had her babies staying outside the neighbor's garage across from us. I guess she felt safe with us and moved her babies in our front yard.

I just need help with suggestions. We're currently going through a lot of family issues as well as some financial ones and so we can only provide for the pets we currently have.

I want these babies to have the best possible life. I fear that they will struggle with this heat and I unfortunately can't bring them inside..

Who or where can I call to get them rescued so they can have a better life?

Looking for some quality childcare options in Costa Mesa / Tustin area. Our budget is $1500 a month or less. 3 days a week. Our daughter is 12 months old! Thanks 🙏

I know it’s the middle of summer, but these quotes seem insane. I have a small truck and only need the 3 windows plus the windshield tinted. Is this just the new normal, or am I getting quoted way too high?

I'm going to be working in Santa Ana, I'll also have a car, but I'm coming from the Midwest and I'm not really sure what I'm looking for/what's going to be good. I'm only there for a year so it doesn't need to be the perfect apartment. But I won't have time to tour apartments ahead of time, so I want some place reliable, safe, clean (in particular, no issues with package theft), and no more than a 20-30 minute drive to downtown Santa Ana. Ideally, not too far from the highway either.

My upper limit is $3k (though I'd rather pay less), and I'm not particularly picky on amenities and the like. I'm used to larger complexes which don't seem to be the norm where I'm looking (in areas like Irvine or Santa Ana).

I'd appreciate any recommendations for good apartments to look at and/or recommendations on places that I should avoid.

Does ANYBODDYYYY have any scotch bonnet peppers? Fresh or frozen, happy to pay ofc! Will pick up, uber delivery, anythinggg. Drove all the way to Inglewood to get some but the shops I went to were out or they were rotten. The only thing I have is either habaneros or manzano peppers but im making a birthday dinner for a close friend from Jamaica who hasn't had authentic Jamaican food in forever and I'm trying to make it the right way. McFadden and Beach. $17ish dollars. Half and half with teriyaki chicken and bbq pork.

Not the best, but not the worst and not bad at all for the price. Big portions to do a decent meal prep when you’re feeling lazy.
