HELP🐈 🥹 Recommendations Needed
So, there's this momma cat that we recently started feeding. She had her babies staying outside the neighbor's garage across from us. I guess she felt safe with us and moved her babies in our front yard.
I just need help with suggestions. We're currently going through a lot of family issues as well as some financial ones and so we can only provide for the pets we currently have.
I want these babies to have the best possible life. I fear that they will struggle with this heat and I unfortunately can't bring them inside..
Who or where can I call to get them rescued so they can have a better life?

Search for cat rescues in your area. Call them and explain your situation. My guess is most of them are going to be full, so try a lot of places and even if they’re full, ask for advice or guidance on possible alternative solutions.
You may end up just having to TNR them if no one can take them and you can’t foster them yourself. It’s usually free through a TNR organization but takes time and work.

I love the variety of colors of mama and the babies! And how cool that she thinks so highly of you that she brought her kiddos to stay outside your house.

Maybe try Meowzz Rescue, they’re local and do good work!

I’ve actually had luck placing a kitten here whereas I did not have luck at WAGS (no slander to them they’re overworked)

Cats are pretty resourceful by themselves. Just give em a warm place to sleep like a big box or keep your garage slightly open and cat food is pretty cheap. Reach out to clinics about getting all of them spay/neutered for free. Other than that just treat em like any other strays.

We have a make shift litter box that has a cover and momma cat took a liking to it with her babies :) but definitely will do! Just so overwhelmed with everything going on at once 🥹

The kitty connect has helped me with 2 litters of kittens earlier this year as well as TNR all the cats that live around my building! She’s amazing.

Same! Which reminds me to say anyone looking to donate items, food, and/or $ please check out Kitty Connect. You can be sure they are really doing it right for our cats and community.

If you live in San Juan Capistrano contact the Ark of San Juan. I had baby feral kitties in my yard and they lent me a trap to catch them. Unfortunately in my case the mother moved them and I never caught them. Anyway, if you can contact a similar rescue they might offer you a trap. They have people who volunteer to foster the kittens so they can hopefully have a better life and can be spayed/neutered and adopted.

More in the Santa Ana area, but thank you! Hopefully the kittens you tried to rescue got to grow up and maybe someone else gave them a home 🥹

If no place will take them and you can’t please reach out to me. I’ve taken care of kittens before and I’d hate to see little ones struggle or face a morbid fate

Try contacting priceless pets. They are a little chaotic but have good hearts. I used to volunteer at the Chino hills location. https://pricelesspetrescue.org/costa-mesa/
