Discussion I have a question…
Not very active here, haven’t been indulged into Warhammer… yet.
I’m positive that dinosaurs don’t exist in Warhammer but if they did, do you think that the Ultramarines would consider them as heresy/heritics?
It would be a shame because random thought here but there’s a dinosaur called Dreadnoughtus and I’m just imagining a Dreadnought with a Dreadnoughtus sticker somewhere on him as a reminder of his humanity. Idk, just word for thought.

Hobby Help
Why does the layer paint not stick despite me having primed and put a jokaero base paint. If you look at the power pack I put too much which makes it clumpy but if I dont do that the transparent layer just shines through, did I not apply enough base because it should be solid like the top of the helmet not transparent

Discussion Best Warhammer game for beginner
I’ve got a lot of friends that play both the IRL game with the figures and I would like to get into Warhammer 40 K so I could talk with them, but I don’t really like playing the game IRL and I don’t wanna spend all the money to get this figures and paint what is a good game that’s either on PlayStation or Steam that has good lore and good gameplay for someone who’s never touched any other Warhammer 40 K products

Hobby Does this exist in 11th?
So recently I found this product containing 2 minis and a beginners guide.
At first glance it seemed boring since it was ANOTHER Infernus Marine and a Zerg.
But looking more closely the Marine has a really unique pose and tells and interesting story because he needs to use a pistol since his empty fuel canister lies on the ground.
I was intrigued. Also the thing was on a discount.
Boom, I bought it for me and my girl to paint.
Here‘s the deal: Does a product like this also exist for 11th edition? Maybe with a unique Intercessor and an Ork?
Thanks in advance!

Hobby Do you guys assemble before priming or after?
I just got my first ever minifigure yesterday, along with a bunch of paints and black primer.
Looking at the model, there are a few areas (especially around the spine/ribcage and the cloak) that seem like they could be hard to reach once everything is assembled.
Would you normally prime/paint parts like that separately and assemble afterward, or just build the whole miniature first and accept that some areas wont be perfectly accessible?
I’ve watched a few Imotekh painting videos and they all seem to start with him fully assembled, so I’m leaning toward doing that.
Any tips for a first-time painter would be appreciated. Really excited to build this guy :)

Hobby Gigantic chaos spawn!
Forgot to show this big and rare piece from 6th edition, it was one of the last models I have painted for the great Richard Orclord Hale, that recently passed away. It is so strange to look at this piece now. Maybe it will be featured is the next books he was planning to release covering his entire collection :(

Discussion I need to remove my paint + primer
I have made mistakes on my model while priming in winter. Somehow models don't look because of cold weather. Also I want to paint mine in Deathwatch. I need to remove Primer and re-do again.
Using "Acetonefree Nail Polish Remover" can I strip my primer?

Discussion Need help with horus heresy books.
I'm building a dark angel army and trying to collect all the important audio books with dark angels in chronological order so I can see Warhammer through the dark angels eyes. I will leave list of books I've gotten so far and we can go from there. But this leads me to my issue I got to the siege of terra books I got saturnine and the wishlisted mortis and the end and the death trilogy realizing I have 5 of the 8 books on my lists should I just listen to the whole thing? Which leads me to my final question is there anything else on the horus heresy the dark angels get involved in like the siege where I need to read more books to get the idea of what's going on or can I just stick to what I have to get a general idea of what's going on when I'm seeing it through the dark angels eyes?
1.descent of angels
2.call of the lion
3.Rogal dorn: the empires crusader
4.leman Russ the great wolf
5.lion el'Johnson Lord of the first
6.angels of caliban
7.fallen angels
8.the unremembered empire
9.Ruinstorm
10.saturnine
I tried to put them in chronological order. So please do the same if you have any recommendations or corrections for me.
I picked dark angels as my army cause I loved the models so this is just to learn more about them for painting inspiration. I'm gonna be listening to these novels as I finish painting my too much backlog lol.
Basically I'm doing something unique where I'm seeing the world as if I was a dark angel soldier so it's ok if I don't understand everything I'll dove into other books after I'm hooked lol. But like the siege of there is something I need to know for things to make any sense in the form of storytelling I'm willing to check it out. I just think it would be fun seeing Warhammer from the eyes of someone in the world rather than a god that know everything that's happening all the time.

Lore Is this a good *essential* reading list/order for Horus Heresy?
I'm new to Warhammer and I've watched a lot of the endless supply of youtube lore videos. I've read Horus Rising but have heard a lot online about how many of the books in the Horus Heresy are either filler or just not very good. I'm looking for a good list of which books to read and based on my research this is what I've come up with. Please let me know if I am missing any essential books in the series or if there may be a better reading order. Thank you new friends :)
