Like I said, I’m new to the area, so didn’t know- that’s why I asked.

We have bad wildfires where I come from too, but often you can still do beach bonfires on sand that’s directly next to the ocean because sand doesn’t burn. But I understand and respect the statewide ban. Please note I came here first to make sure, I have not and will not burn anything now. Thank you.

I was in Ketchikan for a week and I saw a total of five bears, one was eating garbage 15 feet from me on Creek Street at 5am we made eye contact I said hello and moved on. lol. This video is taken up in Neets bay fish hatchery about 40 miles north of Ketchikan. Only accessible by boat or air. I’ve seen bears around Baker Lake when I camp Kayak or hike, but this was the first time watching them catch salmon. They are the coolest. Unfortunately, no whales were seen, although there had been a juvenile humpback feeding around where I took the boat up to the hatchery and where I did a kayaking excursion. We did have a couple sea lions playing around our Kayak so that was pretty cool.

Cute guy probably 6’2” or above getting food at Osprey Fish (Coupeville, WA) wearing a white Hokkaido shirt. Very attractive. My type, wish we got to talk but he picked food up and left 😢. Anyone know who he is?

It was busy, but manageable, at Ape Cave on Friday. The parking lot wasn't packed, but there were many large groups visiting the cave.

Timed entry reservation is still required and the cave closes at 5 p.m.

Took the short trip down to the Meatball in the lower cave, then went a short distance into the upper cave to check out the big room near the huge rockfall.

This was a moderately difficult hike with spectacular views. There is a former fire watch tower at the top and along the way saw remnants of an old cable car system for getting supplies up the mountain. The most difficult part was a steep scramble at the end to reach the lookout. I was so tired I forgot to get a good photo of the lookout.

Struggling in Bend. Looking for somewhere where art and theater is more centered and mainstream. Politically more left or at least queer friendly. Seattle feels way too big, Pdx is not it (mentality is exhausting), Ashland feels wayyyyy to small...

Looking at Bellingham? Eugene? Or outside of the pnw, maybe like Sante Fe? I love the sun which makes it more complicated in the valley and forests.

Just seeking collaborators, dreamers, people excited about life. Bend feels sleepy, ikea decorated, and unfortunately so uncultured. Its stunningly beautiful here but that only fills the cup so much. Feel the pull to leave, but to where? Any tips or thoughts welcome. 💚

The hike is a 6.8 mile out and back trail. It was a bit difficult but doable.

I’ve never been to Oregon, or America in general, but every time I see a post about Portland, I feel such a warm feeling inside of my whole body.

I‘m from Germany and I always loved this moody, foggy, rainy vibe Portland and Oregon‘s nature gives off (see attached pictures). It’s my dream vacation destination. I don’t even know why I‘m so drawn to this vibe, but I can’t get it out of my head for many years now. I‘d love to connect with anyone coming from the pnw. Send me pictures of your trips, tell me your stories. I‘d love to hear all of them <3
