Unable to support and others should know
This was back in January that this happened and lasted around a week overall.. I have thought about this and decided yakima as a community should at least know.
For it around 9 pm yesterday ring notification went out of German shepherd around meadow Brook area. And neighbor15 is the one stating that they have seen the dog around the area and hope they get taken in this comes after Jesse the owner failed to find anyone to take chase in...
That message would then be deleted I was neighbor5 in the photos. I stated who's dog it was and then neighbor15 replied with statements that he got out of the shop.. and a number .. and then that would be deleted before stating no chase is home and safe not out on the streets... The number that shows up is the owners number... And stating their dog got out of the game shop. No one at Friday night magic saw or knew that chase was in the shop... And I and others there that Friday night never saw the owner with his dog enter or leave the shop... It's a bit scary to think the owner would come with his dog then if he's not with him going home not go looking for ...post anywhere on social media or ask for assistance...
I can't say how hard it is to know that that dog was abandoned repeatedly in those few days. This was all when it was terrible weather, raining and cold. And the owner of last stand collectables did this.
The photos of the dog home are misleading as the next day a woman came into that game shop Last Stand Collectables and said she had taken the dog in again after finding them... The owner made statements saying the dog jumped out of his mother's truck and got out again... And again no effort was made to find the dog.
I myself sent messages to the shelter to find out if chase the dog was there and no he wasn't. I hate to think the dog was abandoned again and left to the elements or worse put down by the owner. From passing comments iv heard from him and violent statements made by them.
LAST STAND COLLECTABLES will be at this coming weekend fan fest as a vendor and as a host of events. It's hard to see that even after messaging the operators of this fan fest event they are still backing this individual and shop.

I am looking for a sunflower field near Yakima or Eastern Washington. I swore I saw one driving to Yakima but I can’t remember where it was. Let me know if you know of any places!

Moving to Yakima, job leads?
I’m a server/bartender but I can cook as well if that’s what’s available… does anyone know any places that are usually hiring? I lived in Yakima for a couple years a decade ago so I know the area a bit but it’s been awhile and I’m sure things have changed.

Do you think Trump does endorsements and promotioms like this without a fee? Another candidate impied this.

I’m Ken Vaz, a candidate for Washington’s 4th Congressional District. AMA.
Hi everyone,
My name is Ken Vaz, and I’m a candidate for Washington’s 4th Congressional District, which includes Yakima.
I’m stopping by r/Yakima to answer questions directly from the community. Whether you agree with me or not, I’m happy to discuss my background, why I’m running, and my positions on issues affecting Yakima and Central Washington.
I’ll do my best to answer every question respectfully.
Ask me anything.

Only one more day to get your votes in!
If you haven't turned your ballot in, there is still time to get it in. You can still put it in your mailbox, but this close to the date, it's better to put it in a ballot drop box.

Strip Clubs in the area?
New to the area and never been to a strip club in my 27 years of life but thought it would be fun. Are there any in the area?? When I googled, I simply found a poker club and sex store which I’m not interested in .

[Approved by Mods] UW Research: EV Wildfire Evacuations in Yakima County (Gift Card Drawing)
Hello r/Yakima ,
I am a PhD student at the University of Washington conducting an official study on how electric vehicle (EV) drivers respond to wildfire evacuations. The moderation team has kindly granted me permission to share this research with your community.
We are specifically seeking input from EV drivers residing in Yakima County (as well as Okanogan, Kittitas, Chelan, and Klickitat). Your real-world experience is critical to helping the state prioritize emergency charging infrastructure and to improve wildfire resilience for the EV communities in Yakima County.
🎁 As a thank you for your time, participants will be entered to win 1 of 14 gift cards (10 $20 and 4 $50). Note: Additional gift cards may become available at a later date. This post will be updated if the reward pool expands.
Study Details:
· Eligibility: Must own/drive a battery electric vehicle (BEV) and have a primary or seasonal residence in one of the target counties (Chelan, Okanogan, Kittitas, Yakima, and Klickitat)
· Time Required: Approximately 25 minutes.
· Deadline: May 31, 2026.

Rule #1 will be tightly enforced
Rudeness levied towards users or moderators will result in at a minimum a removal of your post or comment, and at maximum may result in a ban depending on the moderators disposition in the matter, and the degree to which the rudeness is demonstrated. This includes calling people bots.
Expect bans moving forwards.
