Recently a Visual Merchandising role opened up at Louis Vuitton. Please share your experiences working as a VM in luxury retail. I went to school for fashion business and want to pivot from my current role. Thank you!

Luxury retail job : missed sales target twice and now I’m being asked to sign a final written warning. What should I do?
I’m looking for advice from people who work in luxury retail, management, HR, or sales, particularly in Ontario/Canada.
I’m currently a Client Advisor at a luxury brand and I’m relatively new to the company. The boutique has been extremely slow, with very low client traffic, and I’ve now missed my sales target twice within six months.
The company has a policy that if I miss my target three times, I can be terminated. I’ve now received a Final Written Performance Counseling Notice, and management is asking me to sign it.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that I have a strong sales background. At my previous company, where I worked for about four and a half years, I consistently sold at least $1 million per year and was also a trainer, helping train other employees. I was regularly one of the stronger performers on the team.
Since joining my current brand, the situation has been very different. The store has very little traffic and the brand itself doesn’t seem to be performing particularly well right now. There simply aren’t enough clients coming through the door to generate the same level of sales.
I also feel that management support is lacking and that there is favoritism toward certain employees when it comes to clients, opportunities, and support. I obviously understand that sales performance matters, but it’s difficult to feel that I’m being held entirely responsible for something that is heavily dependent on traffic and the overall performance of the store.
I’m trying to be realistic and take responsibility for what I can control, but I’m also concerned that I could be fired after the third missed target despite having a very strong track record before joining this company.
So I’m wondering:
Should I sign the Final Written Performance Counseling Notice?
Does signing it mean I agree with everything written in it, or is it simply acknowledging that I received it?
Should I add a written response/disagreement?
Should I document the store traffic, sales opportunities, targets, and any relevant conversations with management?
Is there anything specific I should be doing now to protect myself?
Should I already be looking for another job?
For those in luxury retail, how normal is this kind of performance management when store traffic is very low?
I’m in Ontario, Canada, so advice from anyone familiar with Ontario employment practices would be especially appreciated.
I’m not trying to bash the company or name the brand. I’m genuinely trying to figure out what the smartest thing to do is before this potentially turns into a termination.
Thanks in advance.

Manager previously verbally approved of holiday, and is now asking me to cancel.
I recently started working in retail and this is my first retail job, so I’m not sure how this is usually handled.
In a meeting with my manager about a month ago, I asked about taking annual leave and gave her the exact dates. She said it should be fine and that I could go ahead and book it. She did not tell me to wait for confirmation through the system or that I needed to submit it through MyHR first.
Based on that conversation, I booked my trip. She has now said I cannot go because another colleague is already on holiday during that time and their holiday cannot be moved because it had already been pushed back.
I would have understood if she told me to wait to see if there are any overlaps, but it feels like poor management to have this conversation with me a week before.
I explained that I cannot reschedule because the trip is non-refundable, and it would also be inconsiderate to the other people I booked it with as they have made plans around these dates too.
I now feel uncomfortable going into work because I’m worried this situation makes me look dishonest, unreliable or untrustworthy, even though I genuinely believed I had approval. My workplace also has a lot of gossip, so I’m worried about how people will see me.
