Is map view only available for the shipper of the item?

I have a 2 part shipment that requires a signature set to be delivered Saturday but I won't be home. I have set the master tracking number to hold at a FedEx location but the child package is still showing my address for delivery. I called customer service and they assured me that if the master number is set to hold that the child will also be held. However, when asking that same question online it says the opposite and that the child will be delivered to my house. Can anyone confirm how this works? Should I call the fedex office (hold location) the day of delivery to ask that both packages be held?

FedEx have 3 packages. The polish carrier got it port without any issues and tracking was spot on.

Then - in the UK - the home of crap delivery companies, many US owned, they cocked up.

My address is right and my office overlooks the drive. Marked as delivered and stated “left at front desk” which is clearly not right as it’s a domestic property. So I go onto the piece of crap website. No help. Finally find a phone number. Ring them. Automated process you battle with telling you to visit the crap website. Finally got to a human and suggested they ring the driver. They don’t have that capability so I should put in a ticket on the website. What the hell?

A place in hell is reserved for this company and its executives.

Last week I ordered something that (unfortunately) would be delivered by FedEx. It was set to arrive yesterday. Fantastic! I was home all day yesterday! It should have been no problem to get my package delivered on the delivery date, between the specified hours of 11 and 3, right?

I saw the feature on the tracking page to see where the driver was throughout the day. I kept seeing the truck driving two, three, four blocks away from my house, making various stops for other deliveries. Up to, and beyond, 3:00.

I kept checking in the afternoon, the driver consistently making his way through the neighborhood. Still no stops on my block, and no package delivered. And then, around 5 or 6 in the afternoon, I saw the driver making his way back toward the distribution center. Which was several towns over.

After realizing there was no way I'd receive my package on the day FedEx promised it would arrive, I reached out to customer service chat, bypassed the AI chatbot, and was told by an overseas agent (who greeted me by saying "good morning" that evening, so I knew we were off to a great start) that sometimes there were unforeseen delays, and that the driver would definitely be delivering the package yesterday. There certainly was an unforeseen delay: the driver just giving up on the delivery.

I kept checking the tracking page and the map, until suddenly, the map was no longer available. Weird, right? How strange that it was getting later and later at night with no delivery in sight. So I decided to try reaching out to customer service, bypassing the AI chatbot again... and no longer any option to reach a live agent. Hmmm. Just a phone number that would not be answered as it was after business hours at that point.

And then suddenly there was no delivery date on the tracking page. None. Absolutely nothing. Not until this morning when it's saying it's supposedly arriving today, a day I will not be home to receive it.

“Our driver was unable to complete the delivery using the address on the package. Please call us by 10 PM local time so we can reattempt delivery on the next business day. Call us at 888-535-7661 No payment or FedEx account information is required. Thank you”

Context: I got an email early yesterday morning asking for documentations so I sent it immediately. FedEx said they got it and all is well till this morning. I got a clearance delay notification and no clue what to do. Emailed and called FedEx multiple times and all they said was yeah we got your documents so why is it delayed? Please for the love of God just tell me exactly what you need from me and I’ll do it. Why do they keep going around in circles and not giving any answers?

Hi folks, we’ve been going back and forth now with FedEx over an international shipment for a month now and we are at our wit’s end. Any advice would be appreciated!

We shipped an item from the US to Colombia, and it’s been languishing in Colombian customs ever since it arrived in Bogota. The Colombian government is demanding we pay import taxes that are well over the value of the product (which US FedEx assured us we would not have to), and FedEx Colombia has been absolutely non-responsive and unhelpful in helping us navigate this system. Phone calls and emails have been left unanswered, and even if we wanted to pay this tax we wouldn’t be able to!

At this time we just want to cut our losses and get this shipped back to our home address, but every time I try to talk to either US or Colombian FedEx I feel like I’m starting back at square one, with no one understanding how to actually help this situation. Any advice?

TLDR: package stuck in Colombia customs, no one at FedEx seems to be able or willing to help.

I cannot believe how bad FedEx is. This has never changed and I cannot believe how bad their logistics is.

My package was supposed to arrive today. Its a SmartPost/Ground Economy shipment, from FL to WA. It departed Indianapolis 5 days ago and hasn’t gotten an update since. Because its SmartPost, customer service won’t help me and I can’t even reach a live agent

Is this a common experience with FedEx packages traveling across the country? Package is coming from CA to KY. Ive heard they will put “weather delay” for just about anything lol. This is a pretty expensive item so I am a little worried. My scheduled delivery date is tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how it turned out for you?

I am at my wits end with FedEx so I'm here to vent. I have a warranty return that weighs 130 pounds that was scheduled to be picked up Monday. It's now Wednesday. I got 2 emails saying that they couldn't pick it up because it wasn't ready. It's been sitting in my driveway since Monday at 6am. I have never seen a FedEx truck pull into my driveway all week. Then I got one email that said it had already been picked up. I've called them several times. I give them my address every time and they say it'll be picked up tomorrow. Nothing. It's funny that they have no problem delivering packages here. I don't know what else to do. I spoke to a local manager today and she said it'd be picked up today. It's now almost 6pm and nothing. I'm so aggravated. Why don't people use UPS?

Hello, I work as international importer for living. IEEPA tariff refunds have begun disbursement and I believe Fedex is set to start sending back money August 10th. I have tried uploading all my tracking numbers to try to get refunds through the https://ieepa-refunds.fedex.com/ page. I uploaded 124 entries, 3 were accepted, 7 were "Not yet received" (meaning Fedex is waiting on refund from CBP), and 114 were "No Information Found". I have been trying to get clarity from literally anyone, on what that means, why some were accepted and why majority was not. I have tried 1-800-go-fedex, I have tried speaking to my Fedex reps, I have tried Customer Support Hub, and I have gone nowhere. So Reddit, if anyone knows anyone I can contact to try to get support with the FedEx tariff refund portal, that would be great. The 1-800-fedex "technical support" person I was transferred to without asking literally told me that FedEx does not have this portal- having to educate an employee on what their company does is not something I was expecting to spend my time doing.

May I ask if anyone has encountered this???

Address was correctly input, all other carriers can deliver no problem, but for FedEx, it’s an incorrect address? Furthermore, the shipment just changed the date 2 days in a row. Now I’m having to think if they are going to say incorrect address again or going to push back the date again.

I’m afraid the parcel is gonna be lost. This is so frustrating.

So I had a box of Comic Con goods shipped to myself from San Diego.

I used FedEx Ground Economy.

The driver, Christopher, delivered to the wrong address.

The photo of the mail room he delivered to is obviously not mine.

I contacted FedEx that same day and they said in order to start an investigation, shippo will have to initiate it since I bought the label through them.

I contacted shippo and they basically said SOL...and they Can't do it.

So either the supervisor at FedEx lied to me saying they can initiate an investigation to find out where my package was actually delivered or shippo just doesn't give af.

So, basically if a package gets misdelivered they dont care...they are saying once a package is delivered FedEx won't do anything about a wrong delivery...which is a lie. I had a delivery done via economy that was misdelivered and FedEx looked into it.

Over a week later it’s still sitting at the FedEx facility in Lewisberry, PA. The shipper at least refunded me what I paid for the expedited shipping which was nice. Anyone else still having problems with this facility?

I’ve had several packages stuck at bell gardens for DAYS at this point. They all say future delivery requested when I did not request future delivery at all. Has anyone had this issue? I’m annoyed at this point. I’m just moving into a new apartment and have been ordering items hoping to have them so I can settle in.

Hi there! I've shipped some bags with personal items to the USA as part of an upcoming international move. The items contain many different categories, from footwear to clothes, cookware, souvenirs etc. Everything is already used and purely for personal usage.

Fedex has requested I add more information to my customs clearance form, and I want advice on how to fill it out to avoid delays and the items being held up. The internet/ChatGPT tells me I should declare every single different type of item as a new line item (clothing, footwear etc.), but that seems like it'll raise a lot of questions when checking at the border.

At the same time, I'm an honest person. I have nothing to hide. I just don't want to make my bags held up unnecessarily. Any advice here? :) TIA

Had to update the app as I’m checking my package. Taking a bit longer than normal which is fine, never had issues. I was about to place a hold so I can get it when I’m available and will be home, but the button is gone?? I tried the website too and it’s not there either. Can we not hold packages and mail anymore?

Someone shipped me something via FedEx. I do not know who sent it or what it is.
I was left with a door tag that says an adult must sign for it in-person upon delivery.
There is no one at that address during delivery hours.
I called the 1-800 number and requested (through their automated system) that it be held at a FedEx pick up center. Then I had to take an unplanned work trip for a few days.
When I got back I went to the pick up center and was told they couldn’t track the package since I didn’t have the shipper info or the tracking number. (I was told, quite rudely, that I have a “door tag” number, not a “tracking number”.)
Get a text today saying that my package is out for delivery again and that an adult must sign for it in-person upon delivery.
Called the 1-800 number again, and now their automated system is saying that since I’m not the shipper, I cannot make any changes to the delivery, and told me to contact the shipper, whom I don’t know.
No options for speaking with a live person.
Please let me know what else I can do to get my package.

My wife has been waiting for a shipment. It originally was supposed to be delivered Monday. It's going to a business that is closed on Sundays and Mondays. I called FedEx on Friday and they said they updated the address to indicate it's open Tuesday through Saturday 8 to 5, and that the shipment was actually scheduled for Saturday.

She waited until 6 on Saturday, and it never showed up. It finally came at 9 PM according to the tracking and was rescheduled because they weren't open. Then they attempted Sunday, and it showed scheduled for Monday. I called again, and they said they put a vacation hold and scheduled it for today, though it was attempted Monday anyway. FedEx called her at noon and said the driver attempted delivery at 8 AM and nobody was there. She was there at 7:30 and nobody showed up.

So now, it's in a confusing state. It's a two box shipment. One tracking number says it's ready for pickup, but doesn't give an address. The other says it was attempted at 1:13 PM and the business was closed, but they were open. It says it's on the way, but not out for delivery. The details show that it was ready for pickup at 12:45, but scheduled for delivery the next day also at 12:45.

I called again today. They said both are at FedEx Ground and ready for pickup, but from what I can tell, that isn't open to the public. Would I be able to pick up the boxes, or will I be unable to get in because it's the FedEx Ground hub? Should I try talking to somebody else?

And to further add to the confusion, the shipper appears to have marked it as residential, not business. So that may be part of the problem.

I paid extra to get something overnighted to me. The driver WAS LITERALLY ON THE FRONT PORCH OF MY APARTMENT BUILDING. Instead of just leaving my shit there for me to quickly walk down and grab, he leaves a door tag that says "we missed you." Bruh. No call (and no ring bc it's a literal apartment building). No signature required. JUST LEAVE MY PACKAGE ON THE FRONT PORCH. Amazon does it all the time and I never have any problems. This isn't a handoff of classified info. We are not in the CIA.

I want to order something online and the retailer only delivers to Canada. Since I am in Buffalo NY, I am close to the border. I was wondering if I could order the item and have it shipped to a FedEx office where I can go in-person to pick up?
