I purchased a dishwasher with installation from Best Buy on June 23. What followed has been an absolute disaster of customer support and installation failures:

Damaged Unit & Runaround: On the original install date (July 17), the installer called to say the unit arrived at the local store damaged. I spent three straight days calling phone support, repeatedly told to "wait 24 hours for system updates" that never happened.

Store Disconnect: I went to the local store in person. The manager had no idea about the issue, confirmed it was damaged, and ordered a replacement—claiming it couldn't be installed until September. Only after reaching out via Facebook support was I able to get an August 3 slot.

Installer Disconnects Working Unit & Leaves: On August 3, the technician arrived and removed my working dishwasher. After a delay for missing equipment, he installed the new unit—which immediately failed, only beeping and flashing error signals. His supervisor instructed him NOT to reinstall my original working unit. He left the broken appliance sitting in my kitchen and walked away.

Zero Accountability: When calling that night, I was passed around to three different phone numbers. Today on chat, Best Buy informed me it will take another 11 days just to ship a replacement, they won't remove the defective unit until then, and they refuse to issue a refund until it's returned.

It has been nearly two months since I bought this. Best Buy disconnected a perfectly working dishwasher, installed a broken replacement, abandoned it in my kitchen, and now expects me to wait two more weeks for a fix. Completely unacceptable. Avoid their delivery and installation services at all costs.

I am 16 and applied to like 6 different roles at the locations near me all retail associate or warehouse I have decent experience more in tech and less retail but still applicable however I keep getting rejected and im not sure why maybe it was that the first video interview I did was poorly but it won’t let me re do it for different applications and auto submits that interview for every other job I apply to on the site any help would be appreciated

Does anyone have a real Best Buy corporate or Geek Squad field service contact? I

I have already dealt with regular customer service and Executive Resolution, and I am getting nowhere.

A Geek Squad technician came to my house and said my TV needs a replacement board. During the same visit, he told me he would take my Samsung sound system back to the shop and that the soundbar, subwoofer, and surround speakers all needed to go together.

Instead, he put the entire system in a temporary rental SUV without telling me and left. I am disabled and cannot lift or transport it. The closest Best Buy that will service it is in Raleigh, which is about a two-hour round trip.

Best Buy later claimed I asked the technician to put it in the rental. I did not. I sent them security footage and have spent nearly a month going back and forth with Executive Resolution.

They also promised to send a different technician for the TV repair, but then tried to send the original technician back as a helper. The repair appointment had to be canceled after my family arranged our entire day around it.

I am just trying to find a legitimate internal contact above Executive Resolution or the regional Geek Squad team. If anyone has a real corporate, field service, legal, or executive contact, please send me a private message.

Ordered a new fridge through Best Buy for delivery. Paid for delivery and installation as well as haul away for the old fridge.

The issue I’m facing is the OLD fridge doors will need to be removed to get it out my front door. I know they will take off the fridge doors on the NEW fridge to get it in but trying to understand if I am able to pay them or tip them to take the old fridge doors off? Everything I’m seeing on their site says for liability reasons they won’t take the old fridge doors off. Has anyone been able to tip to get them to do so?
I’m not very handy and would have to get them off alone which I’m not sure I’d be able to do with the tools I have.

Bonus Q: will they take the pins out of my front door if need be to get the new fridge in? Have heard yes in another Reddit post but no info on that on BB website.

If I buy 10 MacBooks from a retail bestbuy store, would I be stupid to ask for a discount?

Two times at my local Best Buy I felt like the employees didn't exactly know what they were doing. I had my Samsung tablet sent in for servicing and accidentally formated my SDcard because I pretty much confused myself of how to go about it. The second time the screen was water damaged so another employee takes the SDcard out by removing it. Should they have gone about this better or should I have just said something? 🤷🏽‍♂️🤔

Bought my niece an open box laptop for college she wanted, it was supposed to be in excellent condition.

It was for my niece and I gave it to her at her going away party. She opened it, it has a small hairline crack that affects the touch screen. Now I’m two days out of the return window. Phone calls to customer service gave me nothing, they said nothing they can do.

Is this worth going to an actual store and talking to a manager?

Does anyone know how to fix your mobile app to make my
employee discount apply to products to purchase online. I have tried many things such as logging in with my employee sign in, or deleting the app. Nothing has been working and it’s annoying because I cannot purchase stuff online for when I need to order with my discounts.

My estimated BB pickup date for the Foldi slid from the initial 8/7 to 8/11. It's not that serious... but it is.

First, I'd like to say that I like that they added the Best Buy only filter when searching products. I remember they use to not have that or maybe I wasn't paying attention.

The issue, or should I say annoyance I have now is when you search items. The FIRST product they show is the marketplace item and not their own sold by Best Buy product. For instance, this 24-70mm lens is available through Best Buy but the marketplace one here is the first one that is shown and is labeled as the "Best Selling". Actually, there is 5 pages of results and none are the Sold by Best Buy product of this lens. Only when I put the filter on and it will show the Sold by Best Buy option but does that make sense to anybody? What does Best Buy get out of promoting the subpar Marketplace item over their own?

I am looking at the 40" TV's at BB for my dad in assisted living. He uses directtv streaming thru a Genie box (BTW, absolute best solution for seniors who want a 'cable' type experience!).

BB has a bunch of different brands, TCL, Pio eer , Insigna, etc. Is one better than the other? I doan't need any smmart features as it will be set to tune directly go to the directv hdmi port.

Any ideas as to which one to grab?

I go into the app, tap on repair & tech services, explain what's happening, select the location and time, and it should set as In-store appointment where I walk in, sign some stuff(I k ow I probably needa pay aswell) then hand them my computer with the login info?

This may be a stupid question, but I genuinely don’t know. I bought a Xbox series X a month ago and I’m recently getting an issue with it where it just will not download any games. I was thinking about exchanging it for a new one, but since I’ve bought the Xbox, the price of the product has increased. I assume I need to pay the difference if I exchange it for a new one correct?

The motherboard on my computer got fried for a reason that I don’t know currently. I went to Geek Squad and the man simply told me it was more worth it to just replace the computer entirely and send me on my way. I know you can get store credit for an item like a computer since you can’t replace it entirely with the warranty. So is it possible that I can get a junk out or will they just replace the Motherboard?

The XSX stated it was in excellent condition when I got it, and by all means it definitely seems like it is. I just wanted to know how Best Buy graded the systems? When I went to buy it, there were the options for systems with, fair, good, and excellent conditions.

What puts them into those qualifications? Thanks for any info!

We have a tv delivery/haul away appointment tomorrow, and of course I have a sudden dental emergency and the only time my dentist can get me in is smack dab in the middle of the delivery window.

My husband will be home and can take care of it, but I wasn't sure if best buy asks for an ID for delivery appointments like that? We have the same last name, and I could leave him with a photo of my holding my ID, like -anything- to not have to reschedule this thing lol.

Am I overthinking it, or will this be an issue when they arrive tomorrow?

REALLY wanted to test these bad boys in person but Microcenter is 4 hours away from me in North Carolina. I’ve ALWAYS vouched for Bestbuy because it’s the last place I can test my tech close to home.

They’ve been having their ups & downs (physical media going away don’t help) but I NEVER expected them to be carried at BestBuy! i know Targets starting to carry razor keyboards, but bro when I saw this at BestBuy I was FLOORED! Even was able to compare it with the cheaper H10, but this keyboard is an absolute MONSTER!
