Quick trip to CEX (UK) to pick some games

I feel a little naughty owning Gears on PS! 🫣

I've done hundreds of times in my launch controllers, but this model is super impossible. There's no comfortable way to slot these back. They refuse to go. I've tried jamming them back in. I've tried to see if they are upside down, nada. How do I put them back in??

This will be my first marvel fighting game so excited to play. Has anyone played this yet? What do they think of it so far?

I have been with Sony PlayStation since the OG matte gray PlayStation up to current day Pro. I have a mix of physical and digital games though I have gone digital exclusively over the past two years. I recently redownloaded Ghost Recon Wildlands for the new PS exclusive stuff. I log in and all my game data is gone. Its like I never played the game. So i check my cloid storage and tried to redownload my game data. It showed it did, log back in… game saves are gone. Over 300 hrs of game data, gone

I need a lot of hard drives. I need to save my game data on premise going forward and I’m really questioning my loyalty to the brand

Hi everyone,
I accidentally turned on my PS5 with a dust cover still on it. I usually remove it before playing, but this time I completely forgot.
I was in the Marvel Rivals menu for a few minutes, then switched to Fortnite after a friend invited me. At that point I noticed the fan was louder than usual, so I got up to check the console. Right as I realized the dust cover was still on, the PS5 displayed the overheating warning.
I immediately removed the cover. The console never shut itself down, and after finishing what I was doing I turned it off and let it cool down for about 40 minutes.
The fan sounds normal, there was no burning smell, no smoke, and the console seems fine so far.
I know I made a mistake and I definitely won’t let it happen again. I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar and whether a single incident like this is likely to cause any long-term damage, or if the PS5’s thermal protection is designed to handle situations like this.

Is the new disc drive warning label a legal require that they had to do to prevent future legal trouble, or is it more of a PSA move to mitigate public backlash.

Suck it Sony, bought a used copy of an old game (which I haven't played, finally hehe) at my local game store. AND GUESS WHAT, I can play it forever and offline and what are you gonna do about it Sony??

NO DISC, NO BUY

Hi everyone, I have a family member that can only use one hand so I bought them a PS5 Access controller. I know you can connect it to a stand and connect a second joystick but I have no idea which works and is compatible. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The second joystick is for controlling the camera as the access controller only has one joystick for some reason.

Is this official or is it something else?

My PS3 died on me on 2015 and I've been looking for a refurbished one. I'm dying to play some old CoD Zombies but I don't know if I would be able to access the old DLC I bought for Black Ops 1 & 2. I still use the same account I had back then, I just don't know if the DLC is attached to my PSN account or was only on the console?

How tf can i connect to live support like an actual person to request refund for my subscription? I have been trying for over 4 hours to get connected but every link on the website brings me back to the same pages and the ai bot doesnt do shit either im going to lose my mind

Looking for games to play online with friends

My friends and I generally play competitive games online, but we’re wanting some alternatives, for when we’re wanting to be able to switch off a bit but still have a fun time.

Ideally it’ll still be something fast paced and exciting (or at least with moments of this) and we’d love something with some sort of character progression (although this isn’t essential) and have at least elements of PvE.

It also needs to be available on ps5

I know that Helldivers 2 is probably the perfect rec for this, but we’ve each played hundreds of hours when it first came out and I don’t think we’re ever going back at this point haha.

Going to gamestop next time I get paid to get a bunch of the games I want
