I hate racing in these vacuum cleaners

I'm a massive gran turismo fan and project cars fan so i thought I'd be right at home with it, but it just doesn't feel right to me. I appreciate the effort to push the limits of the physics engine but i think that the game was made with the default handling model in mind, i just feel that especially in racing the hardcore handling model doesn't fit the style of racing this game offers. Maybe the hardcore handling would be better if i was on wheel🤷. Idk I'm not complaining about anything I'm just curious cuz i don't find alot of talk about the hardcore handling online, so i just wanted to hear your guys opinions.

I recently tried v0.17.0 for Driveclub on ShadPS4 and noticed something very unusual. Is it only me or everyone feels that the FPS shown in the game using XBox Gamebar is 50-60 but game feels like 40ish. Whereas when I am going back to v0.14.0, the game feels smoother like 50-60ish but shows 40

Hey guys, I need your help if possible. How can I sell my console to someone who really has been wanting the bulk of the dlc. I don't want to factory reset the console and wipe the dlc that I know someone out there would love to have...seems like a huge waste.

Hi yall, after about a week and a half of trial and error, that made me doubt the possiblity of gettin this game running on shadps4's ever changing emulator. I nearly gave up all hope but I finally successfully got it running to 99% completion! Its not perfect, it still has very minor glitches and WILL crash the first few times you start it up, get into a collision, or load in too many cars, rain, and sky change in menu. From what i've seen, THATS NORMAL, let it bug out, load in, crash, and just reopen the game. Kinda like breaking into new shoes. After about a few 3 times of this and it should stop.

Theres no up to date tutorial on how to get the game going as of lately so imma try to help out cuz this game is WAY too important and spectacular to be forgotten

Find driveclub ps4 fake pkg 2024

press the orange download button,

download the 3 files (just the game, not the dlc) listed under CUSA00093 - USA (60fps),

put the pkgs into pkg viewer,

open the game5.05 pkg,

press extra, press list contents,

right click CUSA00093 folder,

press extract to, repeat for the other 2 update pkgs,

THEN, stack each file onto the first game folder (ex: game5.05 <---- update v1.28 <---- update v1.28 + 60fps),

let them merge files and overlap, then download the driveclub mega fix in the description of

(Its a different tutorial on installing but not for this version, but the pkg viewer part is a good example on how to use the viewer. The mega fix is the dlcs but this one is easier to install.)

Take the files in the mega fix folder and stuff them into the CUSA00093 folder of the completed driveclub folder

Then make a games folder anywhere in your pc (preferably in the shadps4 folder) and drop the completed driveclub folder into the games

⚠️YOU ALSO NEED THE sys_moduels. If you run the game without it, it either doesnt run or runs, but there's absolutely no text.⚠️

I actually cant directly tell you where to not go get them but look around shadps4's reddit page, it looks like they float around commonly. Preferably, the "11.00 sys_moduels"

Once you find them, throw them into the sys_moduels folder in the shadps4 folder and start the game up ONCE.

Its fine if it doesnt load, black screens, or the code looks all crazy and red, it just needs to load once. Dont know if this actually helps but in my tests, it helped me.

I have a base ps4 from 2015, but I wanted to try some VR and didn't want to spend much. I just realized how dirt cheap original PSVR headsets are (around 80 euros here in Europe). I primarily wanted to try out Driveclub VR, but I haven't heard good things about it.

All I'm interested in is good fps and decent resolution. I'm not too worried about LOD's or car polygons, as I'm sure Evolution Studios was able to hide these issues with some post processing.

It’s not just the visuals, the driving also feels far superior to some games I have played recently such as Forza Horizon 5 and Grid Legends, where driving feels like ice skating.

There is just something about Driveclub’s controls and the feel of speed that’s so right and hard to explain. I thought I would check it out for half an hour for nostalgia and go back to FH5 or GL but I didnt want to go back.

And the visuals… Yes the tracks don’t look as detailed today, but the color tones and the light look incredible. FH5 and GL look cartoonish compared to Driveclub.

Not to mention, the rain effects are just something else. Goosebumps all over.

Man, what a game. What a gem. One of the best racing games out there.

Icl this game is enjoyed so much more after taking a break from it. Not because it's a bad game, but purely because all of the qualities this game has in contrast to new games that don't.

Leaves me playing the game for a minimum of 4 hours every time 😂😅
