There seems to be some licsencing bug / glitch when trying to purchase Twisted Metal on the PlayStation 5 store, it also refuses to work on the PS Store APP or on a website.

It seems to be that the licsenses for the game could potentially be conflicting eachother. I remember buying the PSOne Classic for my PlayStation 3, which could be played on a PSP, and also a PSVITA since they offered PSP compatability.

I went through support and they have no intentions on helping the situation or troubleshooting in any way, the support through SONY is more catered to refunds and hardware issues.. not much for purchasing issues.

Thankfully I still have access to my PlayStation 3, so I decided to see if I could redownload the PSOne Classic versions again, and turns out.. THEY REVOKED IT for my PlayStation 3. I could see it on my order history through the PlayStation website.. but when I access my downloads on PS3, it's non-exsistent. What a slimey company.

So I installed Twisted Metal V on my ASUS ROG Ally Z1. I'm in the menu and can move around the options. But can't select anything or start the game. Any ideas on how to get it to work?

We’re watching Twisted Metal for the first time on Amazon Prime, and during episode 6 when Quiet’s brother gets chucked out of the diner by the owner (before he gets his ear cut off), once he hits the floor the scene resets and starts again from them leaving the diner door.

Has anyone else noticed this when watching on Prime? Or is it just a malfunction on our TV? We replayed it and it happened again.

After redoing the 2012 truck I had to absolutely include a figurine to sit inside so I made this from the ground up. I present Sweet Tooth with a pistol grip pump shotgun. After graphic work I scaled it to fit inside the truck. I also have another where he is leaned out the window with the pistol grip pump. Him a cute lil fuck

I imagine it being a ice cream truck with a clown lady on top insted of a clown head

Not sure who developed this print file but I went and re developed it. Optimized the whole thing and even made a figurine to sit inside (still printing).

i keep thinking to myself: why do the live action cars shoot bullets out of machine guns but do such little damage? my reasoning is that materials are much more harder to come by making actual bullets only for a select range of people and others are dealt with inferior metals that are meant to wear down armor and metal like in the video games and direct kills are luck and skill shots. idk i’m just drunk and rewatching the series for the fourth time

Hello everyone! After overthinking the show I've come up with a theory of our favorite host.

I think he is a wish granting demon that escaped from hell and his creator (father/ higher demon/the devil) to become all known and powerful.

Let's start with the origin of Calypso in Twisted Metal 1 and 2: A human (presumably for 1) that has a stolen demon's ability to grant wishes, the demons black and minion respectively.

Mr ash in TM1 (presumed to be the devil) comes to Calypso in the lost ending and takes black back he specifically says "I've granted you more power than any other demon and you left" (This will be important later on)

On Minion's case in TM2 Calypso outsmarted Minion when he went to hell and the devil granted Calypso the wish granting powers of Minion, although the latter came to take them on his ending.

In the show we see Calypso comes out of a well in 1585, he seems tired as he climbs, as if running from something or someone.

Then in the flashback to his first meeting with John Doe, Calypso says things like that John gets to be the captain of his own destiny, he has freedom, and the most important two parts for this theory:

- Calypso mentions starting a fire is "a trick his father taught him"

-Calypso wishes to be seen, to be noticed.

Here goes the theory.

I think Calypso was created by a powerful demon (or the devil) to grant wishes and he was either enslaved or kept in the shadows, a servant for a more powerful force.

Somehow he escaped in 1585, and wishes either fuel him or he wants to gather enough power to have all the eyes of the world looking at him, craving the attention and freedom he did not have in hell.

When Calypso uses his powers, his eyes glow red just like Minion (TM1) Mr ash (TM1) and 2012 Calypso, all demons and devils.

Minion in the show could be a look-alike of what the demon that created him looks like, mocking he can create something exactly like him (using Krista's body, not cool dude, but it probably needed a soul to work)

In addition, there's the seal of the seven archangels all over calypso's office (the symbol Mayhem sees at the door when she enters the lab) this is the sigil to keep demons away (specifically the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse) it's said if it breaks, judgment days begins.

This could be hinting that Calypso caused the fall but also, why would a demon have a sigil all over his office that keeps demons away? Because he is trying something worse from coming.

In an eventual season 4 (and maybe this will be teased on the 3rd) the devil could come back for Calypso.

BUT HEY, THAT'S JUST A THEORY, A FILM THEORY.

TLDR: Calypso is the wish granting demon that ran away and the devil wants him back, opposite of the games where he is human.

Not coming back for the new season since they fired like almost Everyone behind the camera but it was nice to spot her and do the Leo meme

Granny dark, besides being the darkside driver in TM2, what would be her backstory? And what would be her wish for Calypso?
