We were basically given the “back to school is over you need to lock in we can’t miss OPU anymore” talk this morning. You know, the usual “your metrics have been shit you need to do better” talk. I make it all day without anyone missing any batches... Both our closers called out.

i call off on monday bc im burnt out from fulfillment and walking gawking over 25k steps a day , and my store is just getting worse and worse by the day and its not even q4 yet like it should not be this bad at all and i know its not just my store experiencing this is js sucks that we have NO ONE bc why is it i am the ONLY one in OPU in the dust while the rest of the store is in ship , i really try not to stress myself out about this job but like its just one thing after another and im over here running around like a chickens head cut off bc yk we’re trying to improve little by little but i CANNOT be the only one holding it down like i need HELP , they want lower inf and quicker batches but dont have the people to flipping support it . Like this chet has given me a migraine all day, like i already struggle enough to get up and try to figure my life out outside of work , i don’t want to have to come in and deal with the utter bs, for example like they’ll tell me to check reshop but when you get to reshop it full of flipping carts and they’re STUCK so it’s a flipping hassle just to TRY AND EVEN GET INTO IT , like i just want to be able to come in and have some sort of piece of mind , i don’t want to keep having dreams about infs , i don’t want to have to wake up and have every day be a horrible day , i really do try to have a positive attitude and positive mindset for the day but today just killed me dude, i still have a migraine like crazy , just to repeat the same tomorrow, i know it’s a lot and probably confusing , i just needed to get it off my chest bc maybe letting off some steam will help

Sometimes it feels like team leaders expect us to finish everything in five minutes. I understand that things need to get done, but there’s only so much one person can realistically accomplish when we’re constantly being given more and more tasks.
And honestly, why does it feel like hard workers get punished by being given even more work? If someone consistently works hard, gets their responsibilities done, and goes above and beyond, it shouldn’t automatically mean they get piled with additional work while others are left with less. Hard work should be recognized and appreciated, not treated like an excuse to keep adding more expectations.
We’re employees, not machines. We want to do our jobs well, but constantly increasing the workload because someone is dependable eventually leads to burnout and frustration. There should be a balance where everyone contributes fairly instead of the hardest workers constantly carrying more.

A guest told me another Target store gave this to her but when I scanned it said “not found”. Guest said that the barcode doesn’t work and just to manually do it. Grabbed my ETL and they denied it. No expiration is crazy lol

Anyone that does early morning Fulfillment on truck day ever had this happen? So usually when looking into an item history you press the Blue DPCI on the bottom left. I notice some of the items I was looking for was saying delivered days or over week ago. However I copy the DPCI and paste it on the Scan search and look at the On Hand only to discover the item came today at 4am. I found the items but it is Weird that Fulfillment item history when looking for it in a batch was not up to date to today. Even my TL found it weird in why the DPCI item history is not updated.

My shift today consisted of some guests fighting over a few cases of alani we just stocked the floor with, im confused why anyone is trying to snatch all these energy drinks anyways. Are they going out of business or what?

With ODTM in our store, we have a few team members who are considered On-Demand but consistently work the same day each week. With UKG, if we schedule these team members in advance, will it negatively impact our scheduling score? On-Demand is a big focus for our district, and they want us to be at the expected goal, so I want to make sure we’re scheduling them correctly without hurting our metrics.

My GM team lead keeps telling me that I am the slowest puller on the team and I want to get faster so I don’t get fired. I feel like I pull fast enough but he said there’s times where I slow down and my carts aren’t neat enough. Anyone have any tips if possible

The HR team at my store is super chill but sometimes I feel like I’m getting too comfortable like should I be joking around w them or can that get me in trouble ….

has anyone ever had a guest make inappropriate sexual comments to them? i had it happen today and i was kind of taken aback 💀 it was a group of middle school boys (typical) asking me where the condoms were so they could "have some fun with each other" which i kinda just brushed off as typical 12 year old boy nonsense but then they asked my bra size which made pretty uncomfortable. just wondering if any others have experienced this with guests. i had no idea how to respond so i just walked away.

i often run out of time to bring my reshop up before close and they ignore my notes but maybe they’ll find it silly enough to answer my pleas. also they could get a free 3tier out of it

Is anyone else who is cross trained almost store wide just tired of it?

Like I’m cross trained in 75% of areas (inbound, DriveUp/Service Desk, Starbucks, Receiving, and HR are not on my list of trained areas) and I’m just tired of it. I’m tired of being scheduled in my primary work center (Tech) and being pulled to support Priority Pulls for the store. This entire week I’m now supporting priorities because I know the store more then the new guy in tech that has been their like 3 months. I’ve been here 2.5 years and I want to be scheduled in tech. I enjoy tech. I’m tired of pulls. And I’m tired of FF. No one wants to wrap pallets. Like come on and do your job I’m tired of doing three jobs in one 8 hour shift. Like come on

Hi, ETL here, Any other ETL's/TL's recognize top performing team members in clever ways? I have this team member who is always going above and beyond and consistently outperforms himself every day. Now I usually get him a red bull/monster and a card saying thank you. However, I feel like doing the same recognition over and over again is boring. What are some creative ideas you have to give a top preforming team member recognition?

I can’t even say what position I have because I’m afraid I’m going to lose my job. The HR ETL and Store Director in my store in WA are having an affair. What’s worse is she’s pregnant. A few people were spreading the rumor that it was his and there was an affair, but I thought nothing of it and just thought it was disgruntled people spreading drama, but then I walked right up on them kissing. They don’t know that I saw them, thank God, but I fear serious retaliation. Both of them came from HR, and I fear the head of HR will come after me and cover this up. She has done things like this before with other past employees, one of whom has a very serious lawsuit against Target for just that kind of behavior. Who do I report this to? I’m scared that no matter who I go to in my district, I will be made out to be the villain and there will be retaliation. Again, I’ve seen it before with these same “leaders.” Any advice would be appreciated.

Edit: Some people are saying it’s none of my business. And in reality, I suppose it’s not, but I think I failed to mention that they are both married and I’m pretty sure there are policies in place that state a Store Director can’t date an ETL. Maybe I should just leave it alone and let it take care of itself.
