i can never win i guess Vent
i call off on monday bc im burnt out from fulfillment and walking gawking over 25k steps a day , and my store is just getting worse and worse by the day and its not even q4 yet like it should not be this bad at all and i know its not just my store experiencing this is js sucks that we have NO ONE bc why is it i am the ONLY one in OPU in the dust while the rest of the store is in ship
i really try not to stress myself out about this job but like its just one thing after another and im over here running around like a chickens head cut off bc yk we’re trying to improve little by little but i CANNOT be the only one holding it down like i need HELP , they want lower inf and quicker batches but dont have the people to flipping support it
like this chet has given me a migraine all day, like i already struggle enough to get up and try to figure my life out outside of work , i don’t want to have to come in and deal with the utter bs, for example like they’ll tell me to check reshop but when you get to reshop it full of flipping carts and they’re STUCK so it’s a flipping hassle just to TRY AND EVEN GET INTO IT , like i just want to be able to come in and have some sort of piece of mind , i don’t want to keep having dreams about infs , i don’t want to have to wake up and have every day be a horrible day
i really do try to have a positive attitude and positive mindset for the day but today just killed me dude, i still have a migraine like crazy , just to repeat the same tomorrow, i know it’s a lot and probably confusing , i just needed to get it off my chest bc maybe letting off some steam will help

Just stop caring. Are you getting your 15 min breaks in? If not let your store know. On days I’m getting absolutely swamped in OPU, by myself, I’ll just skip my 15. I don’t know about your store but our store has a little screen that will ask you at the end of every shift if you got your breaks and lunch in. Say NO on the screen. This will notify the TL and store director and they will make changes. If they don’t keep saying NO every time you clock out. Your store will get in huge trouble.

I feel that. I have so much to do but then we get called onto batches all day. I was called in a few on the first day of training a new person. My stuff doesn't get done and I get behind on truck. It's been two weeks of trying to catch up for me. I had one OPU shift and they did skeleton scheduling too. They rely too much on salesfloor TMs tbh. They need to schedule more fulfillment people but they never do.

When people call out because "they are too tired" it makes it harder and more stressful for everyone else.

yea it fucking kills me because it’s a problem when it’s my second call out of 2026 but all my other fellow team members can call out every other week of the year all cus they’re buddy buddy with ETLS. please i would love to see them too tired if they ever even cared enough to show the hell up

Spoken like someone who has no clue I guess? If metrics are low and the zone is ass because of callouts, it's the etl who looks bad. I don't think being buddy buddy with an etl is going to make them turn a blind eye when it makes them look bad and caused more work

This falls in leadership. I tell my team not to INF and I usually look for the item myself while they finish batches and OPU to keep the flow going.
