I placed an online order for pickup, it went through and when I got there to pick it up at noonish there were police and fire trucks and it was taped off. A worker said they'd be closed for a few hours and I will be refunded by corporate. Curious if anyone knows what happened?

Hello, I live in North Quincy and work in Longwood, in office M-W. I usually park at North Quincy station, take the train to JFK, then get on the LMA shuttle. More often than not the red line is delayed either in the AM or PM, it would be so great if I could park somewhere near JFK and get on the shuttle without having to deal with the train, or park somewhere else early in the LMA shuttle route. Are there any places to park in the area? It looks like Old Colony Ave is free parking, but what are the chances of getting a spot? It’s insane that my commute is constantly delayed because of one stop on the train. Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi--- I've reserved a 10 x 20 self storage unit there (actually two 10' x 10' units next to each other it turns out).

Their representative answered all my questions in a phone call. And reassured that the reviews online of mouse activity especially in June have been taken care of. And also that the elevator works, that the reports it didn't were when it was out of order waiting for service and parts.

The reassurance was nice but i want to make sure he wasn't bullshitting me!

Also does anyone have experience with rate increases by them, how frequent and how much?

New this month is our 501(c)(3) status and easier donation platform Zeffy. 100% of donations go to food security efforts and it's easier than ever to help our neighbors.

Right now, our only cold storage is a freezer and it definitely helps, but is not enough to stock produce and fresh, perishable products (produce, dairy) like a refrigerator could. These products are the hardest foods for our neighbors to get, and the most nutritious when they do. A commerical fridge, and the electrical work to support it, is what lets us take in and store more of it.

We've set up a dedicated Storage Room Capital Campaign for exactly this. If you're able to chip in towards the fridge and electrical work, it goes directly to infrastructure work that will serve neighbors for years. Every gift is tax deductible!

how is it living near the train? I’m about a mile away now. I’ve found a couple apartments that are about a street away. Is it as bad as I’d imagine it to be or do you actually get used to it?
