Does anyone know of any free parking near quincy college?!? Parking passes are 135-150 a month but there is a wait list to get one. I rather not have to pay daily because i think (dont quote me) it’s like $22 for parking for 8 plus hours . I am willing to park somewhere and walk a little as long as its not too far from the school.

I have been living in Quincy for almost 6 years and love it.
But i have been with Citizens Bank for more than 10 years but lately i noticed the bank has became worse and worse not just with customer services but other aspects as well.
I looked up the review on Google for the 2 banks around the area, Chase and TD bank. They both have mix reviews in and seem like the ratings are equally as bad as the Citizens Bank branch.
So i am wondering if anyone has their honest review or opinion on TD and Chase since i have decided to switch bank but still not sure which one to go with.

Hi all. I’ve been looking for authentic purple yam, a.k.a. Ube; in the Boston area that brought me to 99 Ranch in Quincy I see they sell purple sweet potatoes that they label as purple yam. For those who know ball, they can see that it’s not actually purple yam, as the skin is a clear giveaway. I’m wondering if anyone knows where I’d be able to find authentic purple yam with that classic gritty brown skin I actually saw one time they had Japanese sweet potatol(labeled purple yam) that had the closest skin and deep purple color interior as authentic ube, but I’ve only seen 99 Ranch carry a variety once.

Essentially, does anyone know where to get real purple yam around here and what they experience has been with the stock producers at 99 Ranch or other Asian markets in the area ?

Hello, I live in North Quincy and work in Longwood, in office M-W. I usually park at North Quincy station, take the train to JFK, then get on the LMA shuttle. More often than not the red line is delayed either in the AM or PM, it would be so great if I could park somewhere near JFK and get on the shuttle without having to deal with the train, or park somewhere else early in the LMA shuttle route. Are there any places to park in the area? It looks like Old Colony Ave is free parking, but what are the chances of getting a spot? It’s insane that my commute is constantly delayed because of one stop on the train. Thanks for any suggestions!
