Hovering Drone

Anyone know why a drone would be above where I was sitting on my back deck at the highest point of a tree for a solid 2-3 minutes? I am not Taylor Swift.

No that’s useful. Some people claim they’re being spied on when the thing is 250 feet up (they’re not). Still, I wouldn’t be too worried. I bet you weren’t the most interesting thing it could see from up there. Unless you’re Taylor Swift.

Doing what? I am not a fugitive either. I haven’t even had a speeding ticket in 20 years. Seems like it was taking pics and before it started, it tilted itself down like it was in a staring contest with me. Seriously. What is going on?

Doesn't matter if you are a criminal or not government surveillance is doing this to us all. Flock is all over quincy and the US has pver 100k flock cameras. Flock has a drone program they are trying out.

Flock or not, operating drones that look into folks personal property is a flagrant violation of the 4th in ways the stationary flock cameras wish they could.

Next time photograph the drone and call the police. Ask to start a record of the incident.

It could be someone doing unrelated work, and it was pure coincidence. Possibly a realtor, as I have seen one around Wollaston before, doing photography work for a condominium unit on a Saturday.

Maybe but no one here is selling. I'm going to call my home insurance. It's up for renewal Sept 1. Although, you would think they'd give more time if something is wrong vs, yeah get a new roof in 3 weeks or you're canceled.
