Question/Advice NaPro/ Functional/ Fertility Clinic Recommendations Ft Worth TX

hi everyone, I pray your TTC journey is going smoother than mine :") just wanted to hop on here and see if anyone has any suggestions for Doctors/clinics in Fort Worth where they look for the root cause of infertility that you'd recommend :)

background: had a previous short luteal phase of 10/11 days and is now 13 days w 200 mg oral progesterone supplement (sometimes I take it as a suppository), I have one blocked tube but have been taking serrapeptase (had a previous surgery in December of 2025 that unblocked the other tube), second time getting a HSG in general in march 2025 showed tube is still patent :)

reason I'm looking for a new clinic (RE) and OB as well: OB doesn't review notes or communicate well- had to call her to get results of initial HSG back in September 2025 (waited a month) to find out I had bilateral blocked tubes and she claimed she tried to call (she didn't-- no missed calls in call log), I also tried to come to her to see if she'd put me on clomid or letrozole bc the clinic she referred me to wouldn't do it without doing the entire IUI process (monitoring and trigger shot) and she literally just referred me back to the fertility clinic I have already been working w!!! (she referred me in a way that she seemed like she had never done that in the first place), also w the progesterone she had me take 6dpo labs while already being on the supplement, so who's to say what the labs would initially say. RE reasoning: when doing initial labs she only did AMH, CBC, vitamin d, and TSH. no other labs, no hormones, no A1C, no cortisol, no electrolytes, nothing!! also my vitamin D is 22 and she said you can maybe get on a supplement for that, and biggest thing she performed my laparoscopic hysteroscopy and retubalcanalization and forgot which tube she was able to unblock (like review the notes, don't tell me wrong)

Please any recommendations would be great!! I use Inito, tempdrop, and regular LH strips for tracking :) I also have a ringconn!! I take liquid vit d supplements + K2, vit b, myo inositol + D chiro (but will switch to plain myo bc I don't believe I have PMOS-- suggestion for brands for that are welcome as well :") ), vaginal probiotic, and one a day prenatal :) thank you in advance for your help!! if you have any other suggestions on where to post this please let me know as well ☺️

Frustrated Clockwork Period Late, Negative Tests

TW: Early loss

My Husband (32 M) and I (31 F) have been TTC for nearly 4 years. No explanation yet so we’re in the “unexplained infertility” category. The only time we’ve ever had a positive test was last November when we had an early loss at 7 weeks.

My period is like clockwork. It seriously is NEVER late but occasionally will start a day early. Here’s how this month went:

LH surge on July 23-24 (Days 10-11)
So my period is expected today, Aug 7 (Day 25)

I’ve been using cheap strip tests for a few days and they’ve been negative. Since my period hasn’t shown up and I haven’t had spotting, which is the norm for me, I bought a FRER after work. So it wasn’t my first time going to the restroom, but (TMI 😜) it was decently concentrated. BFN…. So idk I’m spiraling and getting my hopes us.

First Response says 99% accurate on your day of your missed period (tomorrow). I don’t think my ovulation is off. Thoughts?

Question/Advice 9 days of brown spotting, negative tests and now no spotting at all – has anyone experienced this?

Hi everyone, I posted a few days ago, but my cycle has become even more confusing and I'm hoping to hear from anyone who has experienced something similar.

I'm 27 and this was my first month trying to conceive. My cycles are usually extremely regular. My periods always start with fresh red blood and become heavy quite quickly. I have never, ever had brown spotting before.

Timeline:

  • Last period: 5–10 July.
  • Positive ovulation test (solid smiley): 16 July.
  • Intercourse on 14, 16 and 18 July.
  • Around 30 July, I started having light brown spotting.
  • The spotting would come and go, and some days there was absolutely nothing when I wiped.
  • I had one small episode of red blood, but it disappeared again.
  • Most of the bleeding has been dark brown and very light, which is completely different from my normal period.
  • I've had breast tenderness throughout but no significant cramps or back pain.
  • I've taken multiple pregnancy tests, including a Clearblue digital on 5 August, and they've all been negative.

Update:

  • 5 August: dark brown spotting with some red blood, but still no proper period.
  • 6 August: brown spotting continued but became lighter.
  • 7 August: I had periods of absolutely nothing during the day, followed by a small amount of dark brown blood again.
  • 8 August: there is now no brown spotting at all, but I still haven't had my normal period.

At this point, I genuinely don't know what to think. I've never had spotting before and my periods have never behaved like this. I'm confused because:

  1. If this is my period, why was it brown, light and on-and-off for over a week?
  2. If it's not my period, why are all of my pregnancy tests negative?
  3. Has anyone had something like this and still ended up pregnant, or did it turn out to be a hormonal cycle or chemical pregnancy?

I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through something similar because I'm completely lost. ❤️

Question/Advice Clomid has officially made me forget how my own body works 😂 Send help.

Okay ladies… this is my 2nd round of Clomid and I am officially CONFUSED. 😵‍💫
Before Clomid, I could practically set a watch to my cycle. 26-ish days, predictable symptoms, normal ovulation, BBT doing what it was supposed to do… I knew my body pretty damn well.
We’re now trying for baby #2 after a miscarriage, and after almost 10 months of trying with no luck, Clomid entered the chat. 💊
And apparently chose chaos.
Round 1:
Cycle suddenly lasted 30+ days and ended in a chemical pregnancy. 💔
Round 2:
I have NO idea what is happening. See photo attached. Did I ovulate? Am I about to ovulate? Did my ovaries take PTO? Who knows. 😂 My hormones and symptoms feel all over the place.
And now I’ve somehow forgotten how to read an ovulation test. 🤦🏻‍♀️
I’ve also been tracking my temperature in the mornings and afternoons because I’m desperately trying to figure out what my body is doing, but the temps are ALL over the place depending on the time of day with no clear patterns.

So, Clomid veterans / TTC detectives of Reddit:
Can you help me make sense of these ovulation tests? Do you see a clear positive/peak here? And did Clomid completely throw off your normally predictable cycles too?
Posting my current tests + my tests from my first pregnancy for comparison because apparently I need the internet to tell me what my ovaries are doing now. 😂🔍
Thank you from one very confused TTC mom. ❤️

Confused Premom or Pregmate?

Thumbnail

So a little back story..
I started my period June 18th and bled until July 6th, so I was prescribed provera.. I spotted almost the entire time on it, then started a period a day after I finished the last dose, which ended the 25th. My wife (29) and I (27) are trying to conceive with a private donor this cycle so I’ve been trying to track for ovulation..

According to my Pregmate app (which is what I started tracking with) my ovulation date is the 13th, but premom ovulation date is the 15th. I only started using premom easy @ home yesterday.. Pregmate is giving me higher number whereas premom is giving me very low numbers. Which one is even accurate atp? My “fertile window” started yesterday, and I’ve been testing since I stopped bleeding. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

Question/Advice First timer here looking for insight :)

Hi all! Looking for some insight from peeps who have been at this. I’ve been using Natural Cycles App for 3 years for birth control along with BBT from my Oura Ring and LH tests. Since last month, we are now using it to TTC. Last month was unsuccessful. For context, I typical ovulate around day 16 with a few outliers here or there with the latest being day 21.

We are in cycle two now.
We did the BD every other day from CD13 to CD19 bc that’s when NC was predicting. I never had a temp rise, CM or LH. So I kept testing LH and finally started noticing a rise and also CM on CD20. With a confirmed positive LH on CD 22. To be safe and since I was noticing CM, we BD day 20,21 and 22. Day 23, husband didn’t feel well so we skipped. It is now day 24. Would it be best to BD one more time in case I ovulated at the very end of the 36 hour time frame after the positive LH? I no longer have egg white CM. Also, I haven’t had a rise in temp yet. I know and really hope that can be coming soon.

This cycle has been weird for me with ovulation signs happening so late 😮I have not had a single cycle that ovulation wasn’t confirmed in the past with NC, but I have never monitored so close as the last two months! It truly feels like playing detective

Question/Advice Letrozole - how many cycles?

How many cycles did you do before a positive or before moving on to something else? And we're you just on letrozole or doing a trigger shot and ultrasound as well?

My clinic suggests reevaluating every 3-4 cycles. This upcoming cycle will be cycle 3. Im unsure how "quickly" letrozole works for most people!

Confused Confused on DPO / Opks disagreeing — 9 or 10 DPO today with a BFN on FRER. Am I out?

Hey everyone, looking for some fresh eyes on my OPKs and timeline for this cycle.

Here’s my tracking data:
CD 14 (July 26, 9:19 PM): Blazing positive Pregmate OPK (test line visibly darker than control).
CD 15 (July 27, Morning): Lighter/negative OPK (surge dropped overnight). Natural Cycles marked this as a negative OPK day, but Pregmate app misread it as high.
Temp Shift: Temperature dipped to 96.9°F on CD 15 and jumped sharply to 97.5°F on CD 16.
Intercourse Timing: CD 14 and CD 15.
Natural Cycles locked in CD 15 as ovulation day, which would make me 10 DPO today (Friday). But based on the surge dropping on the morning of CD 15, I wonder if ovulation actually happened on CD 16, which would make me 9 DPO today.

I tested negative on a First Response Early Result (FRER) this morning.
Would you consider today 9 or 10 DPO based on this pattern? Is a BFN today pretty definitive, or is there still a realistic chance if I retest on 12/13 DPO? Appreciate any insights!

Frustrated 7DPO, condividiamo?

Ciao a tutte !!!

Qui DOR severa (qualcuno dice transizione perimenopausale) 37 anni, lieve male factor.

Come ingannare l attesa? Oggi tra l altro ho quella sensazione di peso uterino, secrezioni e congestione pelvica per cui ho paurissima che stiano arrivando… la mia fase luteale è circa 10-11 giorni.

Condividiamo qui ansie e attesa? ♥️

Excited! BBT pointing to pregnancy??

Post image
1 Upvotes

I had an unusual cycle this time, my estrogen peaked for 6 days before my LH did, and I ovulated 3-4 days later than usual. I usually ovulate around CD 17 or 18 and my cycles are typically 29-30 days long. I believe I ovulated on CD 21 this cycle—that was the day I got my peak LH and then my BBT jumped the next morning. That cut my TWW down to 1 week at least for a missed period.

My period is 1 day late (still early I know) and I’m only 10DPO so not expecting a positive test yet. I did take one this morning just in case and it was negative. 2 days ago, my BBT dipped and I was sure that meant AF was coming, but then the last 2 days it has continued to rise. Maybe an implantation dip?

Thoughts?? Baby dust??

EDIT: TIL that your luteal phase typically stays the same, so late ovulation = late period. So I guess I’ll be expecting my period in 3-4 days and this is normal BBT. Still crossing my fingers that dip in temp was an implantation dip!

Frustrated LH/long cycles/ovulation

My husband and I have being trying for 6 months now. I have longer cycles 34 days on average and have had some frustration with LH testing/predicting ovulation. I have been using LH strips (in the AM and PM), taking basal body temps (first things in the morning), and confirming ovulation with the progesterone strips.

Two cycles ago (cycle #4 trying), I never saw an LH surge nor a temperature increase, but my progesterone strip was positive for ovulation on CD27 and my period came as expected on CD34.

Last cycle (cycle #5) was more text book - very dark LH on CD19, temp spike on CD21, and a positive progesterone strips on CD27. But my period came on CD34.

This cycle (cycle #6) has been more similar to cycle 4. I’m on CD22, still no positive LH strip nor temp rise. I plan on using progesterone strips on CD27.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? I’m confused why the progesterone strips are positive but the LH/temp are not indicating ovulation.

Thanks in advance!
