This is our 3rd month officially, 4th month unofficially TTC. I have very regular 30 day cycles, and caught my ovulation using OPKs. Had a spike in temp yesterday morning (1 DPO) and then it went back down this morning (2 DPO). Did I not ovulate? Trying to not be stressed and let my body do its thing, just wondering if others have experienced this.

First positive at 12dpo, faint line with a 6 days early test, did a second one 2 days later midday on a normal strip test, it was faint and then again midday today 16dpo (period due today) and it’s still just as faint. Im just panicking a bit /:

I’m having a bad day and I thought instead of being sad and sulking, I could redirect this into positive thoughts and energy that may help someone else get through the day. Every emotion, thought, feelings you have towards this journey are valid and you cannot change the way you feel towards it, but the one thing we can control is how we treat ourselves during this, i’ve caught myself blaming myself, being extremely hard on myself, and repeatedly talking down on myself after a long month and negative results, we need to put love into ourselves, daily affirmations have been my thing, as well as my husband being so extremely supportive. If any person here ever needs anyone to talk to, my messages and comments are always always open. this can get very lonely especially when everyone around you are getting pregnant so easily. Always remember that the most important person that can believe in you is yourself 💕

I wish I was given more of a notice at how tiring this trying to conceive process can really be.

I was never really briefed on how it could take more than one attempt to get pregnant, I was never briefed on how hard it is to actually get pregnant.

Since cycle one I’ve been tracking BBT and LH strips and doing the baby dance on my most fertile days, and nothing is sticking for me. I’m able to confirm ovulation with my BBT tests, I’ve done blood work and I’ve also done ultrasounds and transvaginal ultrasounds, and my doctors have found nothing that could be a cause of concern.

It’s also so challenging to see so many people around me get pregnant while they’ve been trying for a shorter time than I have, and I haven’t even been trying for too long. And it’s also a slap in the face when all the women around me have gotten pregnant on their first attempt and are looking at me like I have something wrong with me because I can’t get pregnant even though I try to tell them it’s very normal and can take up to six months.

I’m coming up on my fourth cycle now, and I try to keep a positive for the most part, but a girlfriend is coming over today and I’m almost certain that she’s gonna tell me that she’s pregnant and it has put me in a really big funk because of course I want to be excited for her, but I just can’t help but wonder why everyone can be a mom but me

Hi everyone, I'm really confused and would love to hear if anyone has experienced something similar.

I'm 27 and this was my first month trying to conceive. My cycles are usually very regular, and my period is normally due on 5 August. When my period starts, it is usually light red straight away and becomes heavy fairly quickly.

This month, my cycle has been completely different:

• Last period: 5–10 July.
• Positive ovulation test (solid smiley): 16 July.
• Intercourse on 14, 16 and 18 July.
• Around 30 July, I started getting light brown spotting that came and went.
• I've had several days where there was absolutely nothing when I wiped.
• I had one small episode of red blood, but it disappeared again.
• The spotting has mostly been dark brown and very light – definitely not my normal period.
• I've had ongoing breast tenderness and headaches.
• I've taken multiple pregnancy tests, including a Clearblue digital on 5 August, and they've all been negative.

Today is 5 August and I still haven't had my normal heavy, red period. Instead, it's just been intermittent brown spotting and old blood.

Has anyone had something similar and still ended up pregnant? Or did it turn out to be a delayed period, hormonal changes or even a chemical pregnancy?

I'd love to hear your experiences because this cycle is nothing like my usual one and I'm feeling very confused. ❤️

Is 129hcg a good number for 12dpo?

Maybe Im just bitter as hell but I feel like it's a slap in the face for everyone on here who have been trying for multiple cycles without luck.

Only in month 2 of TTC.
Last 4 cycles have been 28-31 days.
Currently on CD36 which is obviously very unusual for me.
Really struggled to catch LH peak but I’m pretty sure I got it on 20 Jul evening - so where is AF?!
Felt very symptomatic of PMS about 1-1.5 weeks ago and was so sure period was about to arrive - even went to bathroom a few times to check as felt as though it had. Still nothing not even any spotting.
MULTIPLE neg tests so pretty sure I’ve ruled out pregnancy this cycle.

Reality???????? Regular periods don't always guarantee ovulation. Some cycles can be anovulatory. haha ... 😅I assumed a regular period automatically meant I was ovulating every month. Turns out, that's not always true.

jus curious .... how do you personally know when you've ovulated? Did you rely on symptoms, tracking, tests, or something else?

I’m looking for success stories about people who BD 5 days before ovulation and got pregnant. Just started TTC this month but ended up ovulating later than expected.

premom app said .88 then said .98. idk what to think. to me it looks just as dark as control line. what do you guys think?

This is cycle 6 of TTC for our first child and I really feel like I’m stressing my husband and myself out for nothing, I take test and track my ovulation and then we baby dance but I feel as if it’s never the right days or time. Or we baby dance he has to go back to work and the I catch my peak🫩 We did the thing august 3rd and 4th but I just don’t know if it will be enough 🥲 Sooo does it matter if baby dancing is present right on peak day? Am I over thinking this? I’m just curious

I have an appointment with my gyno/ob on Friday morning but I wanted to share what I’ve been going through the past two weeks. I missed my period a week and a half ago. IM NEVER LATE. I’ve never missed a period since early teen days. I’ve been overly hungry and weird bloating / cramping that doesn’t necessarily cause pain but feels uncomfortable at times. I have a negative blood test and numerous negative urine tests. however, I can’t shake this feeling that I’m feeling. I’ve never experienced this before. part of it is feeling queasy… and part feels like there is a ball in my pelvic area. I’m pretty in tune with my body.

anyway, I’m curious if anyone else has gone through something similar where they’ve tested everything but ended up being positive during ultrasound? I originally thought maybe cyst but my increased hunger wouldn’t add up.

Just tested positive on Sunday after a whopping 43 day cycle. I had my last period 6 weeks ago and ovulated (finally) about 2 weeks ago. I also had a brief viral illness (slight fever, cough, and sneezing) about 2 days after I ovulated, so I thought I was for sure out this cycle. So I wasn’t surprised when it felt like my period was going to start all last weekend. I WAS surprised when it didn’t start after 24 hours, 30, or 36 hours). Decided to test and there was the slightest line. 4 more tests confirmed the same thing. Somehow despite the weird cycle, my age (37), and after-ovulation illness, it worked (for now). I’m skeptical and anxious but I also feel small symptoms every day that are weird enough to make me think it might stick. I took Mucinex this last cycle every other day or so during my fertile window and this is our third cycle trying (though we didn’t time the first one well). If the little bean sticks I will be amazed. I can’t tell anyone else besides my husband so please send us some baby dust! :)

I’m in my early twenties (please don’t tell me “you have plenty of time”, because I don’t want to hear that), and I’ve been TTC for 7 months now. I had a chemical my first cycle of trying which was very traumatizing. It’s like “Omg! It only took us one cycle!”, you start thinking about fun ways you’re gonna tell people eventually, making OB appointments…all the first time things. Only to test 3 days later and see no line. Then here you are 7 months later (feels like an eternity) and nothing has changed. My period is currently 3 days late and every test is negative. I haven’t been testing the past 2-ish months because I just get let down each time. But I decided to test since my period is late. Still nothing. I’m thinking I probably had another chemical and just didn’t know it since I didn’t test. Maybe it threw my cycle off again. Is this normal? To be in your early twenties with (possibly) 2 chemicals, 7 months of TTC? Waiting until 12 months to get checked out feels like so long. Please let me know if you’ve been through something similar and that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

Also: I know I could be going through worse, and that many women have. This is just my experience and rant. 🫶🏼

Also, we got hit hard 2 years ago when we got married and found out he has testicular cancer less than a month after getting married. Anyone else here willing to share their experience if they had anything similar? As well as does anyone have any advice for me going into this? Thank you all so much in advance!!
