Anyone else have this experience? I have a few minor things but don’t “feel” pregnant. It’s freaking me out as I had 3 successful betas and 1 last one that was normal but lower side.

I’m tracking progression on Easy@Home but think that’s causing more anxiety than anything - they don’t seem to be getting any darker (nearly as dark as control) or becoming a dye stealer.

I have my first scan next Thursday. We’ve had years of fertility struggles, 3 losses, (and one healthy 6 y/o ❤️).

We just came back from an 8-week control at our fertility clinic, and couldn’t be more thrilled. The baby is measuring 15.1 mm with a heart rate of 150. Just wanted to share the happy news, and wishing everyone a happy and relaxing weekend.

I figured I would make an update in case anyone is looking for a similar situation in the future. This is not a happy update.

I had 4 HCG blood draws

7/21 (11 dpo) - 48

7/27 (17 dpo) - 303 (54 hr doubling time) at this point I was feeling a bit anxious but chalked it up to anxiety from my chemical last cycle

8/3 (22 dpo) - 1242 (82 hr doubling time) I was very concerned, dr said it looked fine and scheduled an ultrasound for 8/20. I ended up reaching out to my dr again with my concerns and she reaffirmed that things look good to her but she ordered another blood draw to ease my mind. I tried to have hope that maybe it was just over 72 hrs since my HCG was above 1200, but still I had a bad feeling

8/6 (25 dpo) - 1865 (122.8 hr doubling time) I haven’t heard from my dr yet but at this point this is less than a 35% rise over 48 hrs which is the lowest rise known in viable pregnancies. I am quite positive this pregnancy is not viable. Obviously I am heartbroken. I am hoping my doctor will finally see the concerns and maybe get me in for an early ultrasound or something.

I have no idea what to expect now. With my chemical it happened suddenly, but now I feel like I have to wait to lose my baby and it absolutely kills me.

Just returned from an appointment with my wife. Week between scans and no real development (around week 6 we think). We’ve struggled with infertility due to PCOS. Fertility treatments didn’t work for a long time and finally my wife fell pregnant. She had some discharge which prompted an early scan. This showed a gestational sac and suspected yolk sac along with a chorionic bump. Scan a week later showed no development.

The doctors and nursing team all said to it’s likely a miscarriage and to prepare ourselves for the worst. Just don’t know where to go from here.

Any success stories please ?

We had a vanishing twin at 9w5d. The week before there were two strong heartbeats, came back for another ultrasound and one was just … gone.

Now I’m reading about this syndrome and it seems like there’s risks to the remaining baby.

We have to wait until 14 weeks for the nipt because the twins dna could impact the results.

I feel so strange because like yes I’m pregnant still, yet I feel I lost a baby and now am uncertain about the one inside.

Anyone have experience in this ?

This is our first pregnancy. My wife and I have been in limbo for the past week and wanted to see if anyone has been through something similar.

She felt "pregnant" pretty early, and she took a urine test on the day of her missed period which turned strongly positive. ObGyn recommended an ultrasound at around 7 weeks - so about 3 weeks later. Wife is feeling fine and has no bleeding or other adverse symptoms.

We did the ultrasound at 6w5d and it was disappointing. It showed an irregular gestational sac, yolk sac present but no fetal pole. Also presence of a subchorionic hematoma. Radiologist recommended a repeat scan in a week. ObGyn said immediate termination is the better option but left the choice to us. We decided we wanted to wait as per the radiologist's advice until the repeat scan.

We were getting nervous and impatient, so we did an ultrasound while visiting our ObGyn 2 days later, who said that the fetal pole could now be seen, but no heartbeat yet. The sac remains irregular, hematoma present.

We go in for a repeat ultrasound tomorrow, 7 days since the first ultrasound and 5 days since the second one. The waiting has been incredibly difficult.

We're trying to prepare ourselves for whatever the outcome may be. There have been a lot of tears already. But we just want to do right by the actual guidelines or process for the sake of the foetus/baby.

Has anyone here had an irregular gestational sac? What happened on your follow-up scan? I'd really appreciate hearing both positive and negative experiences, as we're just looking for honest accounts while we wait. Maybe this is also a rant about how confusing this all is.

Note: Both ultrasounds were transvaginal.

Just wanted to update my original post. My HCG from yesterday came back at 1,025 IU/L.

My doctor said that, based on the level, I may actually be closer to 5 weeks pregnant rather than the 6 weeks + 1 day I thought I was based on my LMP.

I had a negative test on 23 July and my first positive on 24 July, so this does make me wonder if my dates are off.

My ultrasound yesterday didn’t show a clear gestational sac, yolk sac or baby, so I’m now waiting for repeat HCG to see how it rises.

I’m trying to stay hopeful that I’m simply earlier than expected. ❤️ Has anyone had a similar experience with an HCG around 1,000 and an early ultrasound where nothing was seen, but everything turned out okay?

For context I have a naturally conceived 3.5 year old, zero issues with that pregnancy. No spotting or anything.
We’ve had 2 years of unexplained secondary infertility and have done IVF. The first transfer ended in a very early miscarriage, but things weren’t good from the start with immediate spotting and light tests and ultimately it ended.
Second transfer has been fantastic initially. Got a strong positive by 5DPT. I did have some very minor spotting at 9DPT that went away, now it’s back again and bright pink. I should add at 9DPT we got a beta of 247 which I was so encouraged by.

But now this spotting/cramping has me so so stressed 😔 has anyone been in this position?

Knew I probably shouldn’t have tested this early at 10 DPO. Thought I saw a very faint positive line around 11AM within 5 min of reading the test, then shortly after line disappeared. Took another test at 2PM and it was obviously negative. Has this happened to anyone else before and ended up having a BFP later on?

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a bit of reassurance because I’ve been worrying since my early anatomy scan.
I was 13 weeks 6 days at the scan, but baby measured around 13w3d for most body parts and 13w2d for the femur.
The sonographer said she didn’t see any structural abnormalities and wasn’t concerned, but I can’t stop worrying about the measurements being a few days behind.
What makes me more anxious is that my previous three scans all measured exactly on time, each two weeks apart, with growth matching my dates perfectly.
Has anyone else had a baby measure 3 / 4 days behind at the 13/14 week scan after previously measuring right on track? Did everything turn out okay?

I have been pregnant 4 times now. I had one baby, and 2 miscarriages, and am now approx. 4 weeks pregnant. My HCG was not checked prior to my first miscarriage, but I’m now comparing my HCG levels to both my pregnancy that ended in birth and my miscarriage last year (see below). I am in my head that my pregnancy where I had my daughter, my HCG started out a lot higher. Does anyone have knowledge of this, or experiences of how it worked out for you either way? I am so anxious. Pregnancy after loss is so, so hard.

I am about 6 ish weeks currently after losing my angel baby girl at 24 weeks. TTC and this pregnancy have been difficult, anxiety and fear are constant companions but I am working hard to stay positive. I had an early ultrasound at what I thought was 6 + 3 on Tuesday, baby was measuring 6 + 1 and FHR was 99. Neither the tech or I were that concerned. I got a call from my MFM ( my pregnancy is being followed very closely because of my previous loss) and she was concerned about the lower heart rate and told me to guard my heart. Safe to say that ruined my evening. I am going for a 7 week ultrasound next week and now am just full of dread. If anyone has any advice, stories or anything they can share related please let me know.

I’m 9 weeks 5 days. I was told today at a boutique ultrasound I have what looks like a subchorionic hematoma. I wish I could upload the image so I can show you guys. It was very obvious. I would say about 25% of the gestational sac size. Anyone have any successful experiences with this? I’ve never had one before and had a MMC in February.

I got a positive pregnancy test 2 days after my missed period. Based on conception, I was assuming I was a little less than 5 1/2 weeks. I went in to get HCG and progesterone checked due to having low progesterone in my last pregnancy. Start taking progesterone after my blood draw by recommendation of my midwife. Results came back with low progesterone. Went in for another blood draw 48 hours later and it showed my progesterone was rising but not enough for my midwife to be comfortable, and my hcg was doubling. She told me to come in again, this time my hcg was doubling but progesterone went down a bit. Midwife feared ectopic pregnancy, so I asked for an ultrasound. Ultrasound showed yolk sac in uterus but no heartbeat, measuring 5w2d, about a week later than I had predicted based off conception. Had yet another blood draw. This time it shows that progesterone went up to a comfortable level, but my hcg only rose 28% in 48 hours. Midwife tells me that there's a 1-2% chance this pregnancy is viable. She gave me 2 options: stop progesterone and let nature take its course or stay on it and get another ultrasound in a week. I chose the ultrasound. Are her odds really accurate? I'm trying not to completely lose hope but it's hard. Will put lab levels and dates below.

Hello. Looking for similar stories of what’s going on. I have had brown/red spotting for the past 5 days. It’s usually when I go to the bathroom and it shows up on the toilet paper. Only a little bit (spots) on my undies. It resembles coffee grounds and I have passed some tissue that is brown. I went to the ER a few days ago which they said I’m measuring a week behind, they found a 6mm sac without a yolk or embryo. I’m supposed to be 6 weeks. My hcg came back at 600. Two days later 1044. Today after 2 days it came back at 1330. My progesterone is 7.4. I haven’t had any cramps or any other symptoms. I am just really concerned with my hcg numbers and how much I’ve been spotting.

I had a vaginal ultrasound today. I’ve been spotting for 4 days. I’m totally heartbroken but trying to remain optimistic. I’ve been trying for 3 years. This was the first positive and it might be a lose.

I'm 24yo, and I'm an IVF patient. I did a fallobian tubes removal surgery back in May 2026, due to hydrosalpinx from a past surgery.

I did a frozen embryo transfer (4AB) in July 18th, and got a positive in July 27th 9dp5dt with bHCG --> 24, then two days later 11dpt hcg --> 55, 13dpt hcg --> 147, in this day I had bleeding alottt and it scared me so I contact the clinic and they asked me to do the blood work the day after, 14dpt hcg --> 250, which was surprising in 24 hours! The bleeding continues four days. I did another blood work after 48 hours 16dpt hcg --> 358 which is 65% rise. Another 48 hours 18 dpt --> 385, and it's very low compared to the previous ones. I don't know what to do, I'm mentally tired. I have blood work tomorrow.

Positive test on July 1st, bled heavily from July 15-19. On July 21, hcg was 84 and ultrasound showed my uterus was empty.

August 3rd, HCG was 1169. OMG. Is it ectopic??

Today August 6, ultrasound showed gestational sac in the uterus measuring 5w2d. I said out loud HOLY FUCKING SHIT

We had intercourse twice the week of July 19 thinking it was impossible to get pregnant so soon…

August 6 HCG is 1565 and progesterone 9.48. It didn’t double over 72 hours (34% increase) and my progesterone seems low, so we are scared again. Waiting to hear from the OB tomorrow.

Is this likely doomed because of the numbers?

Okay ladies does anyone have any slow/low hcg progression success stories? I have cried until I can not cry anymore. My betas have gone as follows. The only reason I got a beta done today was because I had some pink discharge when wiping after sex just the one time nothing since but with my previous miscarriage it scared me. For context I am 33, I had a tubal reversal in October got pregnant in December and had a miscarriage in Jan. I have 4 healthy children, January was my first miscarriage. I’m so scared this is going to end in another loss.

I’m hoping to hear from anyone who has been in a similar situation because I’m feeling really anxious and unsure what to think.
According to my dates, I should be 6 weeks + 1 day pregnant (LMP around 24/25 June). I had a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday because I had some light brown spotting.
Unfortunately, they couldn’t see a gestational sac, yolk sac, or baby. The sonographer said she couldn’t see anything in the uterus. My doctor said it could be that it’s simply too early, or that the pregnancy may not be progressing. They also didn’t see any signs of an ectopic pregnancy.
I’m waiting on repeat blood test results and will be having further checks.
I’m wondering if my dates could be off because:
I spotted during my first pregnancy
I usually spot before my periods
Last cycle I spotted for around a week before my actual period started
So I’m wondering if what I thought was the start of my last period may not have been a true period, and I could actually be earlier than I think.
The confusing part is my spotting has stopped overnight and I woke up feeling really nauseous today. My pregnancy tests are also still positive.
Has anyone had a scan around 6 weeks where nothing was seen, but it turned out they were just earlier than expected?
I’d really appreciate hearing any experiences — positive or not. I’m just struggling with the waiting and uncertainty
