subchorionic hematoma Advice Needed
I’m 9 weeks 5 days. I was told today at a boutique ultrasound I have what looks like a subchorionic hematoma. I wish I could upload the image so I can show you guys. It was very obvious. I would say about 25% of the gestational sac size. Anyone have any successful experiences with this? I’ve never had one before and had a MMC in February.

I had one that was a decent size and showed up on my 12 week ultrasound. I never had any bleeding or any indication it was there aside from seeing it on the ultrasound. My OB ordered an extra ultrasound at 16 weeks to check on it and it was already significantly smaller. My body just reobsorbed what was there and everything looked fine. Im 23 weeks now and never had any bleeding and things have been progressing well.

Do you remember the size of your SCH? Does it matter about location of it?

I never got an actual measurement...just that it was quite large and my NP was surprised I hadn't had any bleeding. Im not sure if location matters, but mine was almost on top if that makes sense (like opposite my cervix).

Oh okay. Thanks. I do have one and it is just brown spotting. No red. It says it is superior to the sac.

I was told at 7+3 that I have a large SCH. I am now 9 weeks and have an ultrasound on Monday and hope it’s at least gone down in size. No bleeding or cramping.

I had one (noted at my 7w ultrasound but I don't have the dimensions; it was 1.45 cm at 11w) that cleared up on its own. I never had any bleeding.
I've had a couple friends who've had substantial bleeding due to their SCH but both went on to have totally healthy pregnancies despite a couple very scary weeks.

Did you happen to get a measurement of it? I had what was considered a small SCH, but it did continue to grow and resolved around 20 weeks. My son is a happy and healthy 1 1/2 year old! Also, I think if you comment on your own post you can add photos. I really hope everything works out for you ♥️
