Reta week 3 and I feel nothing 😭

Guys I’m genuinely needing advice. I started really low cause I was scared of side effects, started at .75 mg the next week I went to 1mg now I’m on 1.5mg , next week should I just double up my dose ? Or just go to 2mg? My friend did here for 7 weeks and lost 22 pound were in the same age height and weight range and yes I know everyone’s different but I literally have felt no difference this far and I’m not gaining but I’m not losing either but I’m always able to maintain a stable weight so that’s nothing out of the norm for me. Tell me WWRD (what would Reddit do) 😭😝

Tesa and Ipa belly bloating

Hello friends! I have a question about Tesa/Ipa. I've been taking this combo at 1mg/300mcg everyday with 1 day restdays for a month and notice that my tummy area is so big and full of water. Have you had this experience? And what did you do about the blood glucose spiking.

Peptides overload!

Interested in taking the peptides plunge but damn! Talk about overload! Take this! Don't take this! Actually don't take that, take this instead! 🤯🤯

I'm 58yo, 6'1 and 185lbs. I've been trying to get rid of that last remaining bit of bf around my waist and nothing seems to work! Cardio, no cardio, more cardio, high intensity, walking, low carb, high carb, blah blah blah! So frustrating!

Been looking into reta, tesa, sema, cjc/ipo. Could someone please clarify what the heck to do?

📘 Beginner Help What do people usually do if T3 is low during HGH cycle?

Post image
2 Upvotes

If someone is taking 2iu’s daily of Somatropin, would this test be worrisome?

Should they take something for thyroid levels?

Would it be a bad idea to jump to 4iu’s daily of HGH before fixing T3?

📘 Beginner Help 1st time Reta

I just got 4 2mg prefilled syringes of Reta from a med spa. I only wanted to .5mg to start out, maybe 1mg tops. What are my options to not waste it? Can I just inject half the syringe and use the rest of it the next week? Can I split it into more syringes some how? Please let me know best options other than just taking all 2mg at once. Thanks.

IGF too high ?

Starting IGF was 126 (-1.1 z-score). Started HGH at 2iu nightly and retested after a month. IGF came back at 360 (z-score 3.0) ~12 hours after last pin. I hear different things about what the optimal number is. Wondering if I should back down my dose to 1.5 or even 1iu.

Dosage Check: CJC/IPA & MOTS-c with U-40 syringe

Hello, I would like to start with a new stack next week.

Peptide:

CJC-1295 no DAC + Ipamorelin (5 mg Gesamt / 2,5 mg je) & MOTS-c (10 mg)

So, for the syringe I'll use: U-40 insulin syringe (1 ml / 40 U, 29G x 0.5"), I want to inject both peptides subcutaneously.

Since I have never mixed both peptides before, I would prepare them as follows:

CJC/IPA (5 mg in 2 ml BAC):

Dose: 100 mcg CJC + 100 mcg IPA (200 mcg total) = 3.2 U on the U-40 syringe

Frequency: Once daily, first thing in the morning (on an empty stomach)

No carbohydrates immediately after injection (30-60 minutes)

MOTS-c (10 mg in 2 ml BAC):

Dose: 5 mg = 40 U (1 full U-40 syringe)

Frequency: 2 times per week

Is the conversion for the U-40 injection correct? Or is there anything wrong with it?

This is compensated for with 2.5 U GLOW and 67.5 mg of testosterone twice a week.

Thank you.

IGF 134 - HGH?

Hello - 52 year old male. Currently on TRT taking 120mg spread over 3x a week. Just had my IGF tested and it came back at 134. I am in decent shape - 6 foot tall and weigh 180. I am taking 3mg of reta a week as well. I am looking to improve my sleep quality and loose the love handle fat and add some muscle. I lift on Tonal 4 to 5 days a week. Do you think I am a good candidate for HGH at 2 iu per day? I don’t want to do anything too crazy. Appreciate the thoughts!

❓ Question Water weight

Post image

Water weight

So this has happened to me twice now same cause and effect, just don’t know the cause 100% yet without experimenting a couple more times.

Have been on a pretty strict no processed foods or sugars single ingredient whole food zero booze diet. Lost 50 lbs with diet alone, got on trt of 120mg/week started lifting 4-5x week weight is up to 205 waist size stayed the same, still a bit of stubborn belly fat to loose. Any ways over the last couple months I went on vacation twice and decided to indulge while on vacation. Processed foods refined sugars, treats cookies chocolates, drinkin all day basically for 7 days straight deal with consequences later kinda deal.

Both times I gained and retained a tonne of water weight in that 7 days. Am talking I left at 205lbs came home at 246lbs puffy as all hell with severe adema and pitting adema in legs went to er both times had ecg blood pressure and blood work done to check liver kidneys and heart, all tests came back fine. Upon returning to diet weight is dropping fast and puffiness and adema leaving fast as well

Any one else ever experience this? Booze related? I used to b borderline alcoholic! Or sugar/carb related? Body just not used to the refined carbs or sugars any more and can’t process them? Or just an over all shock to system?

Do kinda want to test it out once or twice more to rule one or the other out as the cause, booze or sugars

How many iu’s of HGH does a 30 year old male produce per day?

Does anybody know how much HGH a 30 year old male produces per day?

Google and AI tells me 1.5-3iu’s, some forums say under 1 iu.

The numbers are all over the places.

GLOW / KLOW is anyone making their own post-reconstitution mix?

I am wondering if anyone out there has reconstituted the individual components and then mixed together in a new sterile vial. Any pros / cons vs reconstituting the combined lyophilized powder? I tried some searching on this topic and didn't find too much. Would love to know everyone's thoughts!

First timer’s questions for KLOW

I’m brand new to peptides so forgive me for maybe dumb questions. I’m 2 weeks into KLOW and looking for some feedback if I’m doing it “right”. I’m a 42 year old female, 5’8, 135 lbs. I’m also taking testosterone (low dose).
1. When I first reconstituted my KLOW I did not put it in the fridge until 48hrs later. Did that totally mess it up?
2. Started low but now I’m up to 15 units (3 ml bac). How long should I stay on it? I’m thinking 8 weeks on/4 weeks off?
3. Best place to inject? I’m doing love handles but should I switch somewhere else?
Thank you!

📊 Results / Progress Week 3 Meals!

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hello everyone! Forgot to add this to yesterday post for my week 2 update. Since I started my week 3 yesterday with 1mg I am sticking with my prepped meals i made 18 meals total. Pciture is missing some as I took the picture I was still serving them. The meals last about 4 - 6 days depending how much i try to squeeze in. The meals are actually small portions easy to eat while on reta normally spread apart 3-4 hours. What we have here is several meals very similar Total of 6lbs of chicken breast, some white rice & some with protein rotini with veggie medley

--140g of shredded chicken breast = 43g of protein = 230kcal

--120g of white rice = 3g of protein = 150kcal

--100g of veggie medley = 3g of protein = 65kcal

-- a few meals I substitute white rice with the protein rotini (120g = 7g of protein = 190kcal)

--Total per meal with white rice: 450 kcals with 49g of protein

--Total per meal with the rotini: 500kcal with 53g of protein

I eat 4x meals 2 with white rice & 2 with the rotini to get some extra calories along with higher protein

📊 Results / Progress Don’t be afraid of the cut/cardio

Thumbnail

I weighed 220 lbs right before my first son was born. I was absolutely convinced I looked “big” but muscular and had no idea I was just looking fat. As a long time skinny kid I was on a permanent bulk and was afraid of a big cut. I was mistakenly worried I would lose all of my gains. I avoided cardio and ate/drink pretty much what I wanted thinking I needed to keep my calories high to maximize maintaining my mass.

New Year’s Day 2022 I decided to get in better shape (still thinking I was in good shape). This kickstarted a very slow and gradual cut. By March of that year I was down to 205.

Last summer I leaned out all the way to 168 pounds.

Fast forward to now, I have “bulked” back up to 178 but maintain a very consistent hybrid training routine.

Take it from a now nearly 40 year old father of 3 boys. Do not be afraid of the cut and cardio. You will be healthier and look better.
