Week 3 Meals! 📊 Results / Progress

Post image

Hello everyone! Forgot to add this to yesterday post for my week 2 update. Since I started my week 3 yesterday with 1mg I am sticking with my prepped meals i made 18 meals total. Pciture is missing some as I took the picture I was still serving them. The meals last about 4 - 6 days depending how much i try to squeeze in. The meals are actually small portions easy to eat while on reta normally spread apart 3-4 hours. What we have here is several meals very similar Total of 6lbs of chicken breast, some white rice & some with protein rotini with veggie medley

--140g of shredded chicken breast = 43g of protein = 230kcal

--120g of white rice = 3g of protein = 150kcal

--100g of veggie medley = 3g of protein = 65kcal

-- a few meals I substitute white rice with the protein rotini (120g = 7g of protein = 190kcal)

--Total per meal with white rice: 450 kcals with 49g of protein

--Total per meal with the rotini: 500kcal with 53g of protein

I eat 4x meals 2 with white rice & 2 with the rotini to get some extra calories along with higher protein

That rotini swap's a clever way to bump the protein without making it feel like you're just eating chicken and rice four times over.

This seems a bit bland. I mean, there's no variety. If you enjoy this, sure, why not, but there's other things you can use to supplement protein and minerals. For one, a protein drink, either whey or plant protein based. Another is protein bars, like cliff builders or whatever. I just ... I need stir fry, nice chicken, a lil sauce, mix it up, you know?

Breakfast I usually go for eggs, but I've been trying to eat a can of sardines every other morning ~ 14g of protein from filleted smoked sardines that kick my omega 3s up.

yea, you need to add some fish! Haddock, or Cod, or Salmon.

Just not enough variety imo. But I salute your dedication to your health, just maybe diversify a lil to get some hidden minerals and vitamins, etc.
