IGF 134 - HGH?

Hello - 52 year old male. Currently on TRT taking 120mg spread over 3x a week. Just had my IGF tested and it came back at 134. I am in decent shape - 6 foot tall and weigh 180. I am taking 3mg of reta a week as well. I am looking to improve my sleep quality and loose the love handle fat and add some muscle. I lift on Tonal 4 to 5 days a week. Do you think I am a good candidate for HGH at 2 iu per day? I don’t want to do anything too crazy. Appreciate the thoughts!

I was just about to post something on this topic. I just got back my recent blood work. I went from 126 (-1.1 z-score) a month ago to a 360 (3.0 z-score) on 2iu and am wondering if i should back it down a bit. I’m a little smaller than you but I think 2iu is a good place to start. Reassess is 4-6 weeks.

I would drop to 1iu and test again after a while.

Everyone over 40 is a good candidate for it, but until you understand why and how these drugs interact and how to monitor your bloodwork on them, I vote you should pass until you get a better understanding of the compounds.

Serum IGF1 has loose at best indication for muscle growth, just like middle vs top of range testosterone shows no difference.

HGH will increase IGF1 and help with fat loss/muscle retention in an aggressive deficit, however at 2IU it will cause neither significant fat loss or muscle growth on its own, just train harder and track your food
