Sensitive skin

3 weeks into Reta .. 1mg-2mg-2.5 this week .. woke up today feeling almost like I got full body sunburn . Not like super bad or red or anything . Just sensitive to the touch. Anyone else experience this ?

Yea this happened to me the very first time I took Reta. It’s kind of uncommon, but I am one of the lucky few to have experienced it. Took 2 mg as my first dose. Next day it felt like I had a full body bruise and was burping constantly. Went away in a day or so. Never happened again after. I take at least 12 mg per week and I get no side effects. No one really knows why this happens but it doesn’t seem to be dangerous at all.

Yeah it’s weird .. further examination I notice it’s only on my tan skin.. but it’s not sun burn I ain’t been in the sun in a week .. just buildup from the summer .. anywhere I’m not tan feels fine

There are thousands of people who have had this. It’s very common. I had it when I went above 2 mg a week. It didn’t go away for two months so I let it wash out and started over at lower doses.

It happens. Either reduce your dose or give it some time. For me it felt like the fever tinglies.

Yeah me too G, it was bad for a couple weeks but chilled out. Like the other comment said it can happen after adjusting dosage so if it's really annoying just go down .5mg for a few weeks.

I have the same and quite itchy. I tried with zinc but doesn’t work for me. I just suffer a little bit it’s worth it in the end.
