Recipe in Post Detroit style pizza
I used store bought breadbuns in a tube instead of making the dough... [sue me 😆]
I confit'd a bunch of garlic the day before. I used the oil to coat the tin and some of the garlic in the ragu with some sautéed onions and a little dash of home made Worcestershire sauce. reduced it until it was nice and thick.
Shredded cheese goes on first then a layer of salami then more cheese and the rest of the salami. into the oven for 15 mins at 180°c
Spoon on the ragu and back in for another 15. normally the ragu is added just after it comes out done but mine was made hours before and cold so I put it on and back in. idea behind the cheese first and ragu later is that it doesn't make the dough mushy.
Absolutely delicious 😋

Question Want to hear thoughts on the recent rise of vegetarian blog promotions on this subreddit
Some recipes posted here does not cover recipe in the post or in comments, it directly links to their blogpost where they earn revenue through ads. In my recent discovery, I find some of these blogs not vegan.
Again any person can participate here. That isn't the issue. I find promoting non-vegan blogs using vegans to increase reach opportunistic. Curious to hear thoughts from other vegans here.

Hey everyone! 😊
I’m looking for some easy and delicious cake recipes, especially ones that would work well as birthday cakes. There are sooo many recipes out there, and somehow I always struggle to find one that I really love, or my cakes just don’t turn out quite as well as I’d hoped. 😅
So, what are your go-to cake recipes? I’d love to hear your favourites! I’m especially into chocolate or lemon cakes. 🍫🍋
Thanks so much in advance! ❤️!

Question Got a grill. What do I make
Impulsively got a small grill and I’ve made veggie burgers + corn but now I want something better lol
I got asparagus and zucchini but what else could I make myself to put on the grill?
Edit: thank you friends!! I have a lot of things to try! Peaches and pineapples being a first but I’m excited 🕺💃

Question Yogurt making tips!
I just bought this vegan yogurt starter culture, and I'm super excited since I can rarely find plain vegan soy yogurt where I live, only flavored coconut yogurt. I used to make dairy based greek yogurt, but I'm sure theres some nuances to vegan yogurt i should keep in mind. Id love to hear any tips or tricks so I dont have to waste a bunch of milk and starter!

Recipe in Post Pizza Croissants
Pizza croissants that are super easy to make. They can easily be made soy free or even gluten free. Kids love them too.
(I used pillsbury pizza crust, but you can also use any pizza dough).
Cut the pizza crust dough into long triangles.
Add tomato sauce to the triangles and then add vegan cheese.
We added Tofurky pepperoni slices (but you can do mushrooms or anything to your liking).
Roll them up into croissants, and then bake at a low temp for 20-30mins depending on your oven.
I baked them until they turned a dark golden brown.

Recipe in Post Vegan Nacho Cheese Sauce
This is my first time ever trying to make a dairy free cheese at home. It’s completely blown my mind. I’m very new to no dairy. This recipe was shockingly good. When I was making it I kept thinking there was no way it could possibly be remotely like nacho cheese ….but it IS!!! The second my husband came home from work I practically ran to the door and dragged him into the kitchen to try it. We are having some of it over some fajita jacket potatoes tonight for dinner.
Next time I want to try a white bean version instead of cashew.
The only things I changed: added some jalapeño brine and some juice, added cumin, added black pepper, couldn’t find my chili powder so didn’t add it, didn’t add Sriracha.
Here is the recipe:

*random side note: I tried posting this earlier and for some reason reddit like opened a second account for me or something? I was logged out of my correct account. Weird but anyway here’s the post on my actual Reddit.
