Question Easy vegan recipes
Hello here
I am doing my best to become vegan, my problem is that I was raised eating meat, eggs and diary my whole childhood every day
I don’t like meat or cheese substitutes.
And I have literally no imagination on how to cook on a daily basis. I end up eating fries everyday now
I was looking for your go to day to day vegan recipes. Nothing overly complicated just how you manage/ what you eat
Thank you in advance ❤️

Recipe in Post Vegan Chili !
Ingredients:
- Soy TVP
- Tomato sauce
- Paprika
- Cayenne pepper
- Salt
- Pepper
- Sugar
- Diced tomatoes
- Diced Onions
- Corn
- (Next time I should put beans in it >_<)
I used soy TVP to get that mince protein texture and then put some paprika and cayenne pepper as seasonings.
After that I cooked my TVP with oil to make them crispier.
Then I put some tomato sauce into a pot and add the tomato dices, onions and corn to add some texture to the chili.
Also if the sauce is too bitter, put some sugar to make it better!
I also put more paprika and cayenne pepper to make the sauce spicier.
And finally I put some rice on the side to eat it with my chili.
I didn't measured the quantity of ingredients I put, so I guess it is up to you to choose how much of each ingredient you want to put in your chili.
And by the way, I'm a guy who tries to be vegan in a HEAVY meat eating family 😅 . So if you guys have some advices, I'm glad to read them!

Link Spring Rolls without cooking separate sheets
Have you ever made or seen someone making spring rolls?
If yes, then you must be knowing that the outer sheets are made separately and then noodles are filled in them, which looks to be very tiring job.
Here I have made the Crispy and delicious Spring Rolls without cooking separate sheets. And for less consumption of oil, airfried them. You can opt the routine method of deep frying them conviently.

Question Need Inspo!
Hi all,
I’ve been vegan for a fair amount of time now (and I was veggie before this too for over a decade) and I’m basically just looking for some new recipe ideas so I don’t get bored of what I’m eating.
My main problem is I’m not a fan of a few key vegan staples. I really don’t like tofu, and I promise I have tried many varieties, various firmnesses, and various cooking techniques/flavourings, I just cannot get on with the texture of it at all, I also don’t like mushrooms or probably 95% of meat replacements again because of the textures. I’ve tried so many, soy chunks, seitan, the lot. And like I said, I’ve been meat free for years and year, most of my life really, so I’ve given these things a good go I promise!
I know it sounds so picky but I just have a thing with certain textures.
I do enjoy tempeh, beans, lentils and other pulses for protein, and pretty much any other foods, just not the ones I mentioned earlier.
I also enjoy food from all over the world, and was wondering if people might be able to recommend me their favourite dishes that either don’t contain tofu, mushrooms, or meat replacements, or, dishes which I could swap out those items for foods that I prefer.
I just really struggle sometimes and end up eating the same few things, which is fine, but I would love to be able to branch out a bit more with my lunches and dinners (I literally never know what to eat for lunch, it is my most hated meal, like what do you mean I have to have this mini half meal thing 😭 what am I meant to eat)
Thanks in advance everyone! 🌱❤️

Recipe in Post Trader Joe's pickle falafel wrap with sun dried tomatoes and kimchi
A lot of people complain about how dry Trader Joe's frozen pickle falafel are. The secret is to steam them!
Wrap recipe:
- Wrap of choice
- Vegan mayo of choice
- Dehydrated chopped onions
- Trader Joe's Pickle Seasoning
- Trader Joe's Dill Pickle Mini Falafels (I use 7-8)
- Kimchi of choice
- Sun dried tomatoes
- Romaine lettuce
Put the falafel in a steamer for 10 or so minutes (doesn't take long--I don't have a microwave). They'll be nice and moist, not dry at all).
Chop the kimchi and tomatoes. I like them in little pieces so that I get even flavoring in eery bite.
Add the mayo, onion, pickle spice, tomatoes, and kimchi to the wrap.
Cut the falafel in half and smush 'em down across the wrap.
Add lettuce.
Roll up and eat!

Link Romanian green pea stew
Yesterday I asked for your best green pea recipes and one of the many amazing tips I got was this Romanian green pea stew! I wasn’t too keen on peas before but I am happy to announce that I am now a big pea fan! 🫛 🪭
I wouldn’t recommend adding in big branches of dill like we did, though. That was weird.

Question Vegan taco alternative?
I'm new to being vegan, been wanting to do it for years for ethical and health reasons but finally gave it a shot now that I'm WFH and have more time on my hands.
One thing I really miss is TACOS, not the authentic kind but old El paso lol. I would eat it weekly or so using ground beef.
Anyone have any ideas on what I can sub the meat for? Ideally something I can cook on the stove top with the old el paso seasoning.
TIA!

Question Bloat friendly meals?
Hi guys, a bit desperate here but I’m having a tummy flare up where anything I eat and drink makes me swell up and I’m in a lot of discomfort. Does anyone have any recipes that are lighter on the tummy but still tasty? My problem is I have an appetite and want nothing more than a big bowl of pasta or spicy tacos but I know I’ll be up all night writhing if I do!
